Cabin holiday rentals in Niobrara

We stayed here over a long weekend while visiting family in town. We had a large group, and this space was perfect for it. There are plenty of bedrooms, and they are spread out enough that you can get some privacy when desired. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the game area and hot tub were huge hits. You feel like you're in the woods (saw turkey and deer every day), but can be in Yankton in fifteen minutes. Would definitely stay here again. Only caveat would be that there are steps -if someone in your property can't do steps, probably not the right place.

Literally perfect for the 6 of us (2 adults - 4 teens) to enjoy our stay. Cabin was beautiful and completely equipped with everything we hoped. Walking distance to river - gorgeous view for early morning walks and fishing. Private location of hot tub and fire pit. Cabin sets at the mouth of a quiet, clean and cozy rv park. I had read of the highway traffic being a nuisance in another feedback, but it was actually less than what we have on our street in our town so traffic/noise was not an issue and seemed minimal. My kids are teens, but there was a smaller playground right next to the cabin that appeared fairly new that would be a great addition to family fun for smaller children. There were many board games my teens enjoyed playing. One fun surprise was a telescope viewing out the loft window. They also enjoyed sitting on the balcony. I had asked a few questions and Chelsie was very quick to respond and accommodating. I will 100% recommend Eagles Roost Resort to anyone/everyone.

Great place for us to stay. We were hunting near by and the view is great. House was clean and had everything we needed.

House was as advertised. Bird hunting poor. Locals report guide hunts are only option.

What a wonderful experience! Peaceful country location, yet just a few miles from town, the casino and the Missouri River. Cindy was an amazing host. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend her and will definitely stay there again when we return to the area. 👍👍👍👍👍

Very great place to spend a few days. Simple and comfortable.

What a unique experience. Would recommend to anyone for a true Nebraska country experience. Peaceful to the point of provocative, even. Surreal to have your morning coffee on the front porch, for close-up birdwatching (including wild turkey), overlooking a beautiful pasture. We even got a soft, warm rain one morning. Bed is very comfortable. Everything we needed to stay as secluded as we wished. It was our blessing the have Patty as such a wonderful hostess!

Excellent place with great roads just off of pavement. Very quiet and private. Will definitely stay again!

Shelly has a cute deluxe cottage within a few miles of the lake! We had a great time at our place for the weekend getaway! Only one issue we had was getting to the actual spot! Maybe some signs to help where to go. But her assistant was amazing and made us feel like we were family! Great job Shelly & crew! We’d love to stay again!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The weather was rainy, so we were thankful there was a great selection of toys and games to keep the kids entertained. Sunsets were beautiful down at the private beach. Rachel was very friendly and quick to respond to messages.
