5 Stars – Stylish, Well-Located, and Comfortable We had a fantastic stay at Rob’s apartment. It’s beautifully designed, very stylish, and perfectly located—just a short walk to the beach and Hofstraat. It was exactly what we were looking for as a base to explore the region for the weekend. The free parking was a huge plus— rare and valuable in the Netherlands. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed, including spices and a dishwasher. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. A couple of minor points to note: the apartment heats up during the day, and like many places in Europe, there’s no AC—fine for us, but heat-sensitive guests might want to consider this in summer. Also, the bathroom could use better lighting, though this didn’t impact our experience. All in all, a wonderful apartment. We’d gladly return. Thank you, Rob!

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

It was my third time at Jose’s and everything was impeccable. She’s very nice and the apartment is always very clean , tidy and welcoming.

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

Great apartment to spend a holiday close to the beach in Noordwijk! Clean and comfortable place with a large kitchen / living room area, an amazing bathroom, and large bedroom (can be quite warm at night during hot weather phases). Gish and Tessa were perfect hosts with very fast and helpful responses on any request.

Excellent! We appreciated the quality of the amenities and the cleanliness of the space. Very well located a few minutes walk from the beautiful beach, restaurants and the center. By car full of activities a few kilometers away. Without a doubt we would like to come back!

We were there with our dog. Theoretically, there was still room for more people. The forest was just around the corner, so you could take beautiful walks. It is a pity that dogs are not allowed on the lawn in front of the terrace, but it is also understandable. The meadow is very well maintained and you never know what it has for dogs. All in all we would definitely come back.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful, right on the canal with a nice view. Purmerend is a very nice little town with beautiful parks. If you are coming for Amsterdam it is a little inconvenient to get into the city, but still manageable. If you are coming for purmerend I couldn’t imagine a better place for the price. Sandra was very helpful and a great host as well.

This delightful apartment is located in the historic central part of town, on a canal. Very comfortable, cozy and quiet. Plenty of room with a very appealing courtyard as well. Quality furnishing and fixtures with extra touches like chocolates, snacks, juices and sparkling water enhance the experience. Karin is a marvellous host who is very proactive, helpful , kind and generous. We highly recommend this establishment, in this gem of a town.

It was a great stay, feeling right at home and a safe area. lots of friendly locals to help with any questions about the area. Wouter is a great host and would recommend highly!

Merith's place was great -- super cute and right on the canal. Many shops and restaurants close by. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there was a cool market across the canal, where you could get produce, nuts, cheese, fish, and a variety of goods. Her place is about 10-15 minute walk to the Leiden Centraal Station, which was very convenient. The public transport system in The Netherlands is excellent. We went to Amsterdam, Gouda, The Hague, Haarlem. And we were here during tulip season, so we went to Keukenhof Gardens twice. During this season, they run a bus from Leiden Centraal Station right to Keukenhof, easy. Merith's place was clean and well appointed, just as described. I recommend it!

We felt very comfortable with Lenneke. The decor is Dutch cozy, the kitchen well equipped and the location perfect for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

The host was very friendly and the check-in worked well. The apartment is very central yet very quiet. Restaurants, beach, shops within a few minutes' walk. You have to park in a public parking lot (for a fee), which is about 12 minutes' walk away. However, this did not bother us, as everything was very easy to reach on foot due to the central location. The apartment is very well equipped. Gas stove for cooking, large refrigerator and coffee machine (capsules) are available. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Large balcony for breakfast etc. available. There are also two loungers. We will be happy to come back.

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Very nice accommodation in wonderful surroundings. Our son was fascinated by the chicken coop and the pot-bellied pig that came to visit us outside at breakfast. The owner is very nice and gave us tips about the accommodation and the process. Our highlight was the view from the bedroom to the field and the outdoor whirlpool. The apartment is very clean, stylish and tastefully furnished, everything was there. The location is great, very close to Amsterdam and Utrecht. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby, accessible by car. We are very satisfied and gladly recommend the accommodation. Kind regards

Our stay at Luba’s apartment was really lovely. Communication was very easy & timely. The apartment is beautiful with some great original features; it was also very comfortable too. Opening the balcony doors overlooking the quiet street & sitting to have a drink was great. The shower works well & the bath is low enough to step comfortably into. The bed is also very comfortable. The whole apartment is tastefully done with all the amenities you need. The stairs, like the stairs in a lot of Dutch houses, are a little steep but you soon get used to them & didnt cause us a problem. The washing machine was a great benefit & has a short wash to ensure you can be on the move. The area about 10 minutes outside The Hague was good for us - a lovely deli & other shops are close as are a number of good restaurants. Lieden & Delft are very easy to get to & well worth it. A great stay with lovely hosts in a nice location - I highly recommend.

The apartment is in a great location. It has a great view of a canal and this is its strongest point! It is also very close to the tram and Aurore is always willing to answer your questions. I am leaving the guest star of the house, Zola. Without her the house would be another ordinary airbnb.. Highly recommended!!

We stayed in Timo's apartment for a week. This week was one of the best for us, and the apartment only made it more beautiful. Incredibly spacious, clean, incredibly cozy apartment. So many beautiful elements of art throughout the apartment, selected with taste and love, without anything superfluous. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were happy to spend time in it. Sometimes we thought about why our city program was so dense and busy, because we really wanted to spend more time in a cozy home. Ideal objective value for money. Our communication with Timo was incredibly friendly, he is a very responsive, kind, attentive and caring host, it was a pleasure to communicate with him. All our issues were resolved as quickly, easily and with care as possible. Would we come back again? Of course. Thank you very much for everything🩷

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easy to reach. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

The place is amazing. Quaint , bright and very well thought out. The surrounding gardens are impeccable, the decor is warm and inviting and you feel immediately at home. Are hosts were lovely. Ever present, warm and inviting while respecting privacy and always ready with a smile. Set just a 5 mins walk from the train station you truly can’t beat the location as access to the beach, Amsterdam or all points is literally at your disposal. Uber was also easily accessible. I only hope on our next visit, it’s not so booked we can’t get in. It’s a must stay.
