Maybe you and your family, or someone in your family, will want a different place to stay for a weekend or a week. You may have a challenging work situation and need a peace of mind and/or good rest. Enjoy the tranquility of this cozy house from 1904. With Østmarka forest area as a neighbor with endless hiking possibilities in summer and winter. At the same time you are within walking distance to Ahus. A bus stop nearby can take you quickly to Oslo city center or Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The house is on a small farm in Lørenskog with land and pasture (for horses) in several directions. Idyllically located southwest-facing on a small hill with stunning views of the cultural landscape. Both deer and hare have been observed in the garden.

Our country house is easy to reach by the main road between Bergen and Oslo. Only one hour drive from Oslo and from Oslo airport Gardermoen. You'll love the place in quiet surroundings and wild nature, the view, the large outdoor areas with direct access to the river. Two canoes & one boat included, ready for taking you out for fishing or just for an adventure up the river. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

Whether you want to ski all year indoors on SNOW. Here you can rent skis for a day if you wish. The train to Oslo S takes 20 minutes. Quiet dogs are welcome

Cozy cabin 1 hour from Oslo

The cabin is conveniently located just a one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen. Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.
