Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Norris Lake

Good communication and awesome view

Location: The place was only 6-7 minutes from each downtown location that we experienced. Not only was the location incredibly accessible and convenient it was still (somehow) quite secluded and private. This is a hard feat to accomplish in a mid-size city, but this house provided that as well. The venue: The house feels like you're walking into a living art installation. From the handpicked decor to the mid-century art pieces the entire house feels like a complete departure from our current time line. Amenities: The house came fully stocked with seasonings, toiletries, and all of the necessary utensils to prep meals. The house also came with a basket full of snacks, which was a nice compliment. The only things we needed to bring were olive oil and the food. Overall: Great experience. My only *bummer* is that I didn't capture a full walk-through video of the venue for my own personal memento.

Andrew’s lake house was a comfortable place to stay. The view was wonderful, the area private yet within a half hour to an hour of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Smoky Mountains NP was just beyond Gatlinburg, so it was a great gateway to all the area offers. We didn’t have much luck fishing, because the recent rains made the lake full. The lake house provided lots of hot water, comfy beds, a well-stocked and updated kitchen. It is an older home, so it has some quirks, but we were cozy there. Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your lake house.

2 adults and 7 high school teenagers + this house = a great experience. We took our children and their friends for Memorial weekend and had a great time making memories. The house has balanced communal and private space for a large group and all the outdoor adventuring you could want. Our boys loved the tree swing while the girls enjoyed lounging on the dock. We took advantage of the neighborhood boat ramp located literally right next to the property as well, it could not have been any more convenient. The well appointed kitchen and seating areas were much appreciated and made for fun times at all hours. This is a 'do again' for our crew!

This house was absolutely STUNNING! Every day the view was just amazing. Owners VERY responsive! Enjoyed the hot tub and unit was well equipped in kitchen and nice touch with starter supplies. We found beds comfortable and all 6 of us (adults) could find some privacy. Enjoyed the billiards and the fireplace on the balcony was the perfect backdrop to talk about our adventures. The road was a bit scary if you are afraid of heights and hairpin turns! We got more comfortable as the week went on but we were still reluctant to drive in the dark! The house was good location to Sevierville. Enjoyed Holstens for dinner. The main drag is only about a 25 minute drive. Gatlinburg was about a 35 minute drive. Smokey mountains NP about 45 mins from house . We saw 6 bears on this trip. 1 ran past us in the driveway and we got a good picture from the balcony. Be careful to lock the doors to your car! I already miss The High House! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special. The porch quickly became my favorite spot—I could have spent all day soaking in those breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to visit during firefly season, and watching the fireflies put on their magical show was truly unforgettable. Our evenings around the campfire, making s’mores, were such a treat. My 9-year-old boys loved exploring the property, making new friends with the host’s sweet and welcoming children, and discovering tortoises, baby kittens, and playful sheep along the way. The beds were super comfortable, and the location was perfect for all our adventures—whitewater rafting, zip lining, gem mining, and chasing waterfalls. One of the highlights was ordering baked goods and a dinner from our wonderful host, Sharon. It was hands down the best meal we had during our trip! Our stay was pure magic, and I can’t recommend The High House enough! Thanks for the memories!

Great host! Great value! Everything was easy and smooth right from the starts. No issues whatsoever but if we did have one we were confident they would get back to us extremely quickly.

Kathleen’s place is exactly as described in the pictures. Very clean, spacious, beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains, close to all of the attractions in Pigeon Forge. Would definitely stay here again.

John was a wonderful and friendly host. We loved the bagels and OJ and the home was very comfortable and clean. We felt the space was much bigger than the pictures suggested, which was a wonderful surprise. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful natural surroundings, but still very close to freeway access, which was like a little hidden gem. Thank you John for a comfortable stay!

So excited to see the mountains every morning. This is why we came to the area in the first place! Great decor and amount of space for two of us. Comfy bed and cute outdoor space we actually made time to use. If you want a place to decompress this is it! Plus Annie is super cute.

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

Tony and Barb's guest apartment was cozy, quiet and pleasant. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed available to us, although Barb offered to provide anything else we may need. (There were even bagels and spreads in the 'fridge!) The kitchen is small but offers all full-size appliances, even including a dishwasher. All cooking supplies are supplied as well. The apartment was easy to find, and getting to other places we needed to go (grocery store, restaurant) was convenient. The living room and bedroom are comfortable, and an ample-sized screened porch would be a nice place to relax and enjoy the peaceful back yard. All necessary amenities are available including FireTV and WiFi. It would be a comfortable place for an extended stay. It had the quaint feel of staying at grandma's place but with no dust or clutter!

Very beautiful! It was so hard to leave😢 and we would recommend this place to anyone! And the hosts were outstanding.

Most peaceful and romantic place we’ve ever stayed The views were to die for Slight problems getting the projector sound working but that could be my technical ability Julie was most responsive and the place was spotless ! Didn’t want to leave !

Hidden gem with breathtaking views and near popular hiking spots! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible place and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! The property itself was even more stunning in person than in the photos! I loved having the homemade pizza that was included. It was very easy to make and it was such a fun date night, the pizza was delicious! The place itself was spotless and very luxurious! We also loved the YouTube tutorials on how to work the amenities, it was very helpful. Julie was amazing and always got back to us right away, we also met her husband and he was super nice and helpful with hiking recommendations! We will definitely be back soon!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Daniel and Kelley's place even though it was just a couple of days. The accommodations were perfect for the 4 of us. They were wonderful hosts who communicated everything we needed to know. I would definitely stay again.

From the other reviews, it seems like everyone gets a different unit based on how the resort fulfills the reservation. That being said, our family of four (two little kids 5&7) LOVED staying at the Westgate resort. We used the waterpark each day, and that helped make this AirBNB totally worth it. We also stayed on top of the mountain...which was amazing. Played mini-golf for free. Quick access to Gatlinburg for dinner and to the mountains for the hikes. Clean units, kids slept on sofa couch, we had private bedroom. Kitchen to make pack lunches for hikes. Large bathroom. Just be sure to say 'no' to the 'free lunch and tour' so you aren't stuck on a long sales pitch. Units do connect to each other via connecting door, but thankfully we had quiet neighbors and didn't hear them.

We had a wonderful 4 night spring break! The house was exactly as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool with the kids each night. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The location could not have been better. It was a short drive into Gatlinburg to walk around and shop. We also drove into Pigeon Forge for Dollywood one day. That’s a little longer drive but very easy. We will definitely be renting again.

It was an absolute delight to stay at Victor & Tammy's cabin. the place looked brand new, the view was incredible, and it felt like home. We've already shared the listing with friends and hope to return in the near future.
