We had a great stay! Nice, functional house, nice terrace, quiet and with ocean views. The place is ideal for exploring the North of Portugal . Carlos and his wife are very available and very discreet owners. To do and redo ... without moderation 👌

João's treatment is impeccable, always attentive and very kind. As for the house it is even nicer than the pictures. I would recommend it 100%, we have been super comfortable.

We had a great stay in the "Casa da Mata". Lost in the heart of the winery and on the edge of the forest, this house full of old-fashioned charm, well renovated and comfortable, is perfect. Every room has a beautiful view! But the best view is from the terrace where we had all our meals. We also loved our interaction with Fernanda, the best host you could hope for. And his kitchen is a delight! Fernanda feasted us with good garden products, fig tomatoes & eggs.. And very good bread, brought every morning!!! We can only thank her again for her kindness. We will keep in mind this beautiful week perched on the heights of the Douro for a long time. I forgot: the pool and common areas also added a nice plus value to this week.

The flat has a few shortcomings, but it is atmospheric. As for the host, there is not the slightest problem in contacting him, he is very nice and helpful, and tries to make guests remember their stay with him as well as possible. In general, I highly recommend this flat :)

This is a lovely place to spend time with family, disconnect and recharge. our daughters loved the space outdoors and playground. Manuela was an excellent host. Recommended.

It's a great value for the price, except for the fact that the Wi-Fi doesn't work well in the room. It can be inconvenient for those who need to use Wi-Fi in the room. Wi-Fi is good at the swimming pool. The host couple is very friendly, and the swimming pool in the accommodation is also very nice. It was nice to be able to go to the beach in 10 minutes by car.

Very good welcome by Antonio as well as by his mother, very attentive, ready to do a service and speaking, among other things, very good French. Very nice welcome breakfast and coffee, good location compared to the different places to visit. Product as advertised with good value for the money.

I spent one night at the home of Filomena with three friends and it was amazing. It has a double bed and a large sofa bed (without separation, it is ideal for groups of friends or families), kitchen equipped with hob and all utensils, barbecue, and the best part of all - the pool! It is a great pool and it was exclusive to us, with lots of privacy, lawn with loungers, a treat. Filomena was very considerate and the husband Francisco who received us as well. It was a memorable experience and I recommend 100%.

Monica is so super helpful with impeccable English for people with little or no Spanish or Galician. She is a wonderful host and Jossie the dog next door is cute and for someone who does not love dogs like me, he was fine to have as a neighbour. A great stay!

Miguel welcomed us very warmly and showed us the entire place again and said we can always ask him if we need anything. We felt at home from the beginning. The property is beautiful. In addition to the fantastic pool, there are orange and lemons, which we would have freely available during our stay. Miguel was always on hand right away if we needed anything. He was very anxious to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Loved it there. The old cabin has a rustic charm to it ☺️ Thank you for everything, Miguel!

We had a wonderful weekend at Sofia and Filipe's house. They were extremely friendly and attentive hosts, which made all the difference in our stay. The house is beautiful, very well equipped with everything we needed and the outdoor space is simply amazing, offering a unique tranquility. We had the opportunity to enjoy the garden and orchard, which made everything even better! We highly recommend it!

We loved our stay at Whiteside. The location was reasonably convenient but also a really vibrant and interesting neighborhood. Our room was well designed and comfortable with a ducted outdoor space as well as shared patios and lounging areas. It was great to have the use of a week equipped kitchen and washing machine. our only issue was that the code we were issued for entry was wrong and it took some time to get a response by phone. After that everything was great.

The accommodation was very clean and everything you need is present. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The house is located in a quiet residential area, close to the Caminho. When you go for a longer period (we stayed 11 nights) it is best to have a rental car. From Marinhas, we have made many beautiful day trips in the north of Portugal. Bars, restaurants and shops can be found a few kilometers away in Esposende.

The place was very very cute and functionally decorated. Everything worked flawlessly and clean. The contact was very kind. Particularly noteworthy was the comfortable bed. We have never slept as well on a vacation as in this one! :-)

Lise owns a wonderful place in the hills beyond Braga, with a swimmable reservoir (lake) nearby (walkable) and much to discover. The house is as described and we found a very thing workable and clean. Our dogs got on well with her’s and the gardens are huge so they could run around a lot. The swimming pool is great and cold to freshen up, a joint kitchen with adjacent BBQ was used more than once!! All in all, a wonderful find and a really good experience. You are in nature, mind. Phone coverage is sometimes sketchy, and insects may show themselves in garden or occasionally inside, but nothing at all out of what can be expected in such a natural place. Other guests were nice, too, so a bit of social around kitchen or pool (or BBQ) are a definite possibility. We will return happily if the region calls our name next.

Very nice area, small, nicely developed apartment, but completely sufficient, cozy and nicely furnished, comfortable bed with very good mattress, place with supermarkets, bakery, bars, restaurant within 10 min walk. Beautiful nature, forest, border river for walks on the doorstep. The communication with Julia was excellent and uncomplicated, she gave many tips, reacted immediately and was always available. We will be happy to come back!

They were two weeks of August very pleasant, of total disconnection from the city. The house was small but comfortable and cozy. The pool gave it a plus, to be able to cool off in the terrible heat of summer, and being surrounded by nature is ideal for recharging batteries. Thanks to Peter for all the attention. He's a very good host.

Perfect space to relax with family or not. We had 2 days off and went from Porto by bus to Viana do Castelo and then Uber to the location of the house. We arrived before check-in and Emily let us in anyway. We went with our 1-year-old baby and had wonderful days, immersed in nature, we enjoyed the garden, the dogs, the chicken, the cat, the streets, the view, the house is very comfortable, hot shower, wonderful mattress, everything is very cozy and everything you need is in the house. We barbecued, drank wine, explored the city on an electric bike they rent, ate grapes from the vine, and the weather helped a lot. The location is perfect near a huge supermarket, beaches, rivers and tourist attractions. The owners are super family and we can't wait to come back. Whatever you need, they find a way to get it! Gratitude defines, I highly recommend it.
