Holiday rentals with lake access in Norte Region

Very cute little house on the edge of the Rio, converted into a mill, it's rustic but at the same time everything has been arranged and thought out to have a good time, with all the possible comforts (and even games available, a coffee machine etc). There is plenty of space to put yourself, although the house is very dark as it is in old walls, but the garden is simply beautiful. Between the sound of the stream that passes below the terrace, the flowers and the deckchairs to settle in, we were in paradise! Everything was clean and in place for our arrival. The house is right next to a bridge and we went for a walk around it was really nice. A very nice restaurant is 2 minutes' drive from there for a more chic atmosphere that is also enjoyable! Thank you very much :)

Excellent stay. The house exceeded expectations, beautiful and very neat. It smelled very well. In addition, the site was extremely calm and with a lot of privacy. They were very attentive, always ready to help. We had a small situation that we eventually managed to solve ourselves, however they were attentive to the point of leaving a basket with breakfast at our door for the inconvenience we had. I recommend it 100% and we will definitely be back there.

Our stay was amazing. We went to Grijó for a wedding and the location couldn't be more perfect. Emília was an amazing host, super available, attentive and of a giant sympathy! The house, besides the excellent cleaning, is very welcoming and is equipped with everything we need and something else :) all the corners were thought to detail with a lot of love and affection, both inside and outside that is also very pleasant ! And it's impossible not to feel the good energy ❤️ We sincerely thank you for your attention and look forward to coming back!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. A great home to explore the Geres area and park. Beautiful view from the porch, convenient living room and a kitchen with everything you will need for a short or long stay. The bedrooms are spacious and linen comfortable. The house was spotless clean and Margarida was quick to respond to any question we had. Highly recommend if you plan to visit the Geres area.

Great space. The family enjoyed the ample space. A car is required, but we anticipated that. Having the bicycles and kayaks were great unexpected perks that we enjoyed greatly. The air-con came in handy too for the time of the year we visited. Jose, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating with our requests, even at odd hours. Highly recommended and we will pass on the message to friends akin.

Peace on the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation was only found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. There were only two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest store is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to arrive by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful, right on the river, and the traffic of ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't have to go away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, and he gave us tips for fishing. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and there is also parking in the shade. Many thanks to all

This was a nice place on a quiet street. It had a comfortable bed and everything we needed in the studio apartment. The restaurants in the area were delicious. If you want to be a little bit away from the Porto downtown this is a great option. We had a vehicle and were able to drive over to Porto in 20 minutes. This place is made up of more local people and culture. It was quiet and beautiful. Only 1 minute walk from the water.

We really enjoyed this stay in Porto. The location was fantastic and the host was great. Would highly recommend this home for any visitors to the beautiful city of Porto.

A stunning apartment with a magical view of Porto and the ocean. Clean and spacious. There’s internet and streaming services on the TV for the child. Within a 10–30 minute walk in either direction along the beach, there are places with delicious food. There is some construction nearby, but the apartment itself is relatively quiet. There were a couple of minor issues, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. We’d gladly come back if we have the chance.

Delightful spacious place. A bit remote, but also nice and quiet. Everything present. Friendly owners. And delicious oranges from the tree for fresh juice! From here, you can quickly reach the Douro valley.

This is a great place to stay. It has a great view and it is close to restaurants, a market, the Luis I bridge, etc. It has a patio where you can sit and have some wine while enjoying the sunset. Sónia was really responsive and will definetelly book her place for our next trip to Porto. Thanks for everything, we had a really good time!!!

In general, everything was very good, good accommodation, very nice host, very good pool, the only thing is that it is in a bit of a difficult area to drive and a bit far from the village, in addition to the fact that you have to go a little further than where the location is on the air bnb maps, but the place is impeccable, clean, room with pool and so on, television and air conditioning, everything perfect.

I would definitely return to this apartment. It has incredible views, and we have seen beautiful sunsets, but the house also has all the comforts, it is decorated with great taste and everything is taken care of in detail. Everything was super clean, and Eulália made sure we were well at all times, answering quickly and even coming when it was necessary to fix something. I highly recommend it, and I would return without hesitation.

This is an exceptional Airbnb. Fernando is a welcoming host and an interesting man to talk to. The house is spacious, generous and peaceful. It is also beautiful, with character, and perfect spots for every season. The sitting room must be lovely in winter. The walks in the nature reserve were lovely! You won’t want to leave.

I had a wonderful stay in this cozy stone house. The atmosphere is super quiet, ideal for those looking for rest in the midst of nature, and the house was impeccably clean and well-equipped. The hostess Célia was extremely friendly and attentive, received us with great cordiality and shared great tips for tours around the region. A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

Ideal place to spend a weekend with family and friends.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.

This is the second time we visit this paradise! it's so beautiful there, the lake in front of the house, the forest behind the house. So much peace there. If you need some time to relax or enjoy peaceful moments with your family or friends, this is the place for you!

Gui has two houses for rent, in a nice, quiet, rural environment close to beautiful Ponte-de-Lima. She is very friendy and extremely helpful.
