Welcome to my yurt! This unique spot in Baarle-Nassau, right on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium, is located on the land where my grandparents once had their vegetable garden. Now, it’s home to an authentic Mongolian ger—also known as a yurt, which means home in Turkish. Life here is wonderfully simple. Wash at the basin, sleep on a tatami mat, and warm yourself by the stove. With a touch of Japanese simplicity and a magical atmosphere,it's the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Deze Yurt biedt zowel een romantische inrichting als omgeving. Je bevind je in het prachtige natuurgebied van het Leudal op het erf van een boerderij. Zodra je de yurt uitstapt kijk je uit op de open velden en bossen, een oase aan ontspanning en rust. Je kunt de buurt ontdekken door een mooie wandel-of fietsroute te kiezen. Het dorp Baexem bevindt zich op 1.5 km afstand, hier is o.a. een supermarkt en bakker. Iets verderop zijn de wat uitgebreidere voorzieningen. Heerlijk vertoeven beloofd!

Yurt on a farmyard

In the back of the vegetable garden of our farmyard, we have had the pleasure of realizing our own Mongolian yurt. In the yurt, you get closer to nature, but still with more comfort. The yurt has a kitchenette with cold & hot water, a refrigerator with freezer compartment and a stove. The whole is nicely decorated, there is a double bed and the joert can be heated by the wood stove. Outside is a terrace with sanitary facilities. Curious? Feel free to stay.

The tasteful and very cozy yurt has a cozy living room, fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. There is a high sleeping double bed where you can admire the stars at night through the round skylight. There is an adjacent deck where you can enjoy the sun!

Wake up in a Ger in the middle of nature!

Wake up in the middle of nature, from a unique outdoor home: our Ger. It is full of life in our beautiful estate: singing of birds, roaming chickens and cats, leafing sheep, playing children, edible plants and lots of greenery in our forest, fields and vegetable garden. In the Ger, you can relax, on the sofa by the wood stove or in the comfortable double bed. In addition, you can use a shared kitchen, shower and compost toilet.

Cozy yurt in the woods behind forest café De Boswachter in Erp. Nice and warm space (even with frost) with double bed, wood stove, small kitchen and private terrace. Includes one private wellness evening with Finnish sauna and wood-fired hot tub with jets and bubbles. Private hot shower in separate building; toilets in the café (shared by day). Perfect for a relaxing couples’ getaway.

Our Yurt is wonderfully located in the greenery. Just enjoy the two of you. The Yurt has a toilet inside and outside there is a lovely outdoor shower. Upon your arrival, the beds will be made and the towels are ready! Coffee and tea are provided, and breakfast is always included with us! So enjoy immediately. From 18 years of age.
