Bramley Lodge

JasonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of a high standard, with the attention to detail plainly evident. We found all the essentials were supplied, tea, coffee, toiletries etc and a lovely touch. We are a family of six and found the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings superb. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable even when it was chilly outside, with lots of heating options including a log burner to keep warm. Jono was on hand to check us in and give advice on local attractions. Thank you. This is an absolute gem and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again. Jason & Denise

Safari Tent 2 @ Tapnell Farm

EricRating, 5 stars45 months ago
We had a great time here. The location was picturesque and there was plenty to do on our week long stay. The tent was ideal and surprised us with how roomy it was. Check in was easy as in they text to let you know it’s ready and you just turn up at your tent. Each tent has a BBQ kettle, fire pit, two deckchairs and a large beanbag so lounging outside is to be encouraged. The views are great and the animals on site are friendly enough. The only gripe we have (completely not anything the venue can solve) is the Earwigs! They get absolutely everywhere! If you’re going to stay here then be prepared and maybe bring some airtight containers (even then they’d find a way in!). The play barn area and farm activities are spot on and there’s a lot to do to keep you entertained and although you have to pay, if you’re staying on site then it’s pay once and use as many times as you like after. We ate at The Cow twice whilst we were here and the food was great, service was spot on and for a reasonable price as well. We had a great time here and we’ll definitely be making a return visit, albeit we’ll probably try a lodge next time round. Thanks for having us!

Lower Keats Glamping Safari Lodge 5 Sleeps 6

ClemencyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Linda and Gary are fabulous hosts at this beautiful and peaceful glamping site. From booking onwards Linda sent us lots of really useful information on what to pack and what to expect - really handy when packing for three kids! When we arrived Linda and Gary were there to greet us and show us around. The honesty shop set up is brilliant! The tents themselves are well equipped and nicely kitted out - the views are stunning. We loved the pizza night. Everything is very well organised and really thoughtfully done. The kids loved feeding the farm animals with Gary too. The other campers were also really friendly and there was a great atmosphere. Would love to visit again.

Cleanest port a loo ever! We had a great time. Susannah and partner had thought of everything you might need: BBQ, firepit, stove, kitchen/cooking stuff, camping chairs, coca cola gummies and more!! It made it a really easy trip and the tent was super cosy. Perfect with the kids lots of space to play, and picturesque walks to the local pub/village. Located in a beautiful and quiet spot. Lovely people making it a lovely place. Be back again!

MatthewRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Gemma’s Tipee tent was sublime and exactly what I needed after a big day on the bike (East Devon Trail). Having the outdoor fire really helped warm me up and on entering the tent for night time had fairy and table lights with a super warm & comfy bed 😌😴 Farmer David popped over to make sure I was settled in and again in the morning for a good chin whag cheers Dave 🍻 Even took a little plunge in the river Otter!!! 🦦 🙌

Two Fully Furnished Retro Style Canvas Tents

HeatherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed with a group of adults and children for the weekend. Nancy and Richard provided everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for the kids and dogs. Met us on site, gave great local recommendations and were flexible with check in and out times. Nancy visited daily to stock up on ice packs and have a chat. We’ll be back in the not too distant future hopefully!

Eco-Glamping - East Devon Jurassic Coast

EmmaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Amazing! Beautiful, peaceful, like our own little slice of paradise! Laura has done an amazing job making this lovely little spot. The glamping was indeed glam, everything we could have possibly needed was there. The kids loved helping with the eggs and playing with the dogs. Laura was so helpful and welcoming and it was great that friends could join us for a couple of nights. We will definitely be back.

A perfect weekend. Host was brilliant. Bell tent was amazing. Location is great. Great local pub with fantastic food Hannah recommended just a short walk. The surrounding is quaint and beautiful. The campsite has everything you need - camp kitchen / hot showers etc. The hosts also brought out toys for our kids to play with and they just enjoyed being free and catching butterflies in the grass. Would 10/10 recommend to a friend - thanks for having us.

private kid-friendly glamping -2 delightful tents

NishaRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Lovely stay and friendly accommodating hosts. I think others have mentioned, but the road is very loud (not the hosts fault!), but ear plugs might be desirable and we knew it was in the garden, but is very close to the guests house - it wasn’t a problem at all - but was closer than we expected, so just for others to take on board. We had everything we needed. Great brunch at the dairy close by and a good walk in to Wimborne for meals and drinks along the river.
