Ok, how gorgeous is this place! My expectations were met to a T while staying at Sam’s Airbnb. If you’re a solo sober traveler like me, this is where you want to lay your head at night. The house and neighborhood are serenely peaceful after dark, even with planes flying nearby (you won’t hear them) which is crazy because the airport is a stone’s throw down the hill. It is impeccably clean in the rental and a bidet is a huge plus lol. My room faced a beautiful garden wall so waking up to floral aromas and hummingbirds was like a Disney princess slumber. Rooms have their own personal keypad so no need to worry about your belongings while out exploring. If you have a car it is so easy to get literally anywhere in town so if you’re thinking hotel vs airbnb, this is a great find and affordable compared to hotel rates. You’ll rarely run into the hosts but if you need anything they are a quick message away and usually respond faster than you hit the Enter button. 10/10 would stay here again.

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our 3-day getaway (for an event in town). The location was ideal for us, and the place was clean. We especially loved the dreamy pool and outdoor living area – it was such a relaxing space. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep. (Note: bring long-cord charging cables!)This spot is definitely perfect for two people, and we'll absolutely be back!

I had a wonderful stay! Edwina and Art were kind, welcoming, and a pleasure to talk to; they truly made me feel at home. The guest room is quiet in the back corner of the house; I slept great! I loved the sliding door that let in lots of light and opened to a patio with a view toward the bay. I work as a I travel, so I appreciated being able to use the desk and office. And Luna the cat is so cute! Edwina's home is an ideal location for exploring the San Diego area; highly recommended!
