Excellent accommodation for the price. If I make similar trips in the Oulu area, I'll keep trying to book the same room.

We spent a lovely week at Meri's place in Oulu. The apartment is absolutely lovely with well appointed kitchen, unique interiors, wonderful sauna (which we enjoyed many times during our stay) and many thoughtful touches for a comfortable stay for Meri's guests. The apartment has a private patio and fenced-in yard. If you like to run or walk there great walkways and trails. There is a grocery store very close-by and also a bus station that makes trips to the city center easy. The bus system in Oulu runs frequently and reliably, so you can enjoy a quiet suburban and private home setting, but at the same time have an easy access to city center restaurants and shops. Meri was very kind and very helpful and answered promptly any questions we had about the location and transportation. The apartment was clean and welcoming and I can highly recommend Meri as a host and we hope to have another stay here. Thank you Meri!

We were relaxing with my spouse and our dog on Midsummer Day. The yard sauna was really relaxing, we spent many hours in the sauna and the dog also liked the sauna. The area was really peaceful, so there was plenty of privacy. The terrain in the area is quite interesting. All things considered, the visit went well.

A house like in paradise. Seeing the midnight sun over the lake was a magical experience. We sat for hours (until the early hours of the morning) in the very cozy living room, enjoying the silence and the beautiful view. Several times we could even observe reindeer on the neighboring property. The most comfortable bed was in the piano room, with a direct view of the garden and the lake. The other beds were also cozy - on top of the gallery only a little sagging and the single beds downstairs were too narrow for adults. But if you push them together, it works wonderfully. On the terrace, we could make ourselves very comfortable on the garden furniture, enjoy the sun and the fantastic view of the lake. Of course, we also enjoyed using the large sauna in the separate sauna house and the rowing boat. A lovely gesture from the hostess was chocolate, grapes and lemonade. Thank you so much!
