My place is close to Cologne (about 20 km) - at the gates of the Bergisches Land. The property can be reached by bus and S-Bahn from Cologne in 40 minutes with one change. The bus stop is 30 meters from the house. You'll love my place because of the wide range of uses in the area (Cologne Fair, art and culture, Naturarena Bergisches Land). My place is great for couples, solo travelers, adventurers, and business travelers. Unfortunately, no pets are permitted.

House on the wild Aar 16 people

Haus am Wilde Aar can accommodate up to 16 people. This vacation home is part of a half-timbered farmhouse from 1880 that was completely renovated and modernized in 2015. The vacation home has a large garden directly on the stream and is very suitable for families and friends with children. You can enjoy the tranquility and beautiful surroundings during your stay. Thanks to the spacious layout of the house, you can enjoy plenty of privacy and relax together.

Our barn offers on two levels (125 m2) a large living and cooking area, a comfy living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a guest lavatory. Furthermore the two sun terraces invite you to a beautiful stay in the county style garden with a view to pond, orchard, fields and forest.

Architectural experience in a former farm barn

The Dortmannhof is a listed former farm from the 18th century. It is located in the middle of the big city of Essen, but still centrally located and at the tram and subway stop. Within walking distance is the site of the UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein as well as a network of bicycle paths. The Berlin architect Prof. Sigurd Larsen has designed a guest unit in the form of a "house in a house" that is freely accessible and rented here.

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Hof Michiels (Apartment 2)

Our lovingly restored apartments are located in a former barn of our organic farm. The approximately 300-year-old farm is located in the middle of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. In the immediate vicinity is Lake Borner and Lake Harik. We cultivate permanent pasture with a suckler cow herd, consisting of approx. 20 animals that spend the summer in the pastures. Our farm is home to our friendly dog named Costa.

Historic barn

Quiet, lovingly furnished guesthouse in Mönchengladbach - Neuwerk. The old barn is about 60m² and completely renovated. It offers enough sleeping possibilities for 4 people plus baby/infant. A workspace is set up, TV & Wi-Fi is available. We try to welcome our guests personally to answer questions about the house and the surrounding area directly. The individual guest house is located at the end of the 6-hectare property. A former stable is now a carefully and lovingly redesigned retreat for 4 people. On the first floor is the kitchen with dining area and fireplace, a bedroom and a large bathroom with freestanding bathtub. The 2nd floor consists of a loft-like studio with a large window front, in which there is another double bed.
