Villa holiday rentals in North Sea Canal

We had a lovely stay at Sabine’s Mahalo House – it’s a beautifully decorated and spacious home with a lot of charm and character. The house offers everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. One of the windows in the bathroom didn’t close entirely, so it got a little chilly at night and in the early morning, especially when it was windy outside. For future guests, it might be helpful to check with the host regarding the window if you're visiting during colder days. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our time there and can warmly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Zandvoort with plenty of space for a larger group.

Ans and Luke were very helpful and friendly. They want above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even helped us with some of our trip planning into Amsterdam. There were 5 bikes to use, a clothes line and a washer and dryer in a garage seperated from the house. There was also a small bathroom in the garage that we could use (making 4 toilette in total). The outdoor seating and gardens were fantastic.

Es war ein ganz tolles Wochenende in der Unterkunft. Es gab praktisch nichts was nicht vor Ort war. Von einer super küchenausstattung, über viele saubere Badezimmer bis hin zum Boot vorm Haus. Wir konnten die Zeit sorglos genießen und hatten zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl dass etwas fehlt. Gerne wieder !

Our stay at Villa Duindoorn was perfect. It all started with the nicest welcome note and Robert’s kind offer to pick us up at the train station. From our very first impression, we loved everything about the house: the pictures and paintings everywhere, the handpicked designer furniture, the flowers, the books and the blooming garden. We immediately felt at home. The kitchen was very well-equipped: a fridge that makes ice cubes, an espresso machine, a big gas stove, sharp knives and all the basics we needed - including fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden! Once you enter the 1st floor, you find yourself in Pipi longstocking‘s Villa with the cosiest wallpaper, cloud-like beds, and loads of fresh towels! Robert and Karin showed us their property and invited us to use everything- from the swimming pool to the hammock and all the benches, seatings and little sun islands they have created. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. Stellplatz direkt vor der Tür. Alles war sehr sauber. Es ist urig und rustikal eingerichtet und gemütlich. Das Bett war bequem und es ist toll, vor dem großen Fenster zu schlafen mit dem Wald davor. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man kann mit dem Fahrrad den Strand und die Stadt sehr schnell erreichen, die Gegend ist super zum Radfahren. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Such a beautiful home, we felt so comfortable. It has everything you need and the kids loved the animals and the trampoline. Gorgeous neighborhood, grocery store down the road. Hot water tap and the ice cubes were really nice to have as well. They really went out of their way to accommodate us and suit our special needs, we really appreciate it!!!

Das Haus ist absolut perfekt für Mensch und Tier. Man ist mitten in der Natur, alle Nachbarn haben Hunde und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Wir haben uns unfassbar wohl gefühlt und konnten die wunderbare Küche, den innen und außen Kamin nutzen und das Leben in Noras Haus in vollen Zügen genießen

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit allen Vorzügen für einen herrlichen Urlaub. Es hat ein tolles Ambiente mit großem Platzangebot. Die Garderobe ist groß und hell. Der Wohn-und Essbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, die Küche hat alle Eigenschaften (Geschirrspüler auf Stehhöhe, tolle Kaffeemaschine, super Herd, Quooker, Geschirr und Gläser - sehr schön). Das Gäste- WC im Erdgeschoss hat ein tolles Design. Die oberen beiden Etagen haben eine sehr stilvolle Ausstattung von hoher Qualität mit schöner Beleuchtung. Das Bad ist voll ausgestattet, ebenfalls sehr hochwertig. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön gestaltet mit mehreren Sitzplätzen mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre, auch überdacht. Es war alles perfekt sauber und wunderschön, wie auf den Bildern. Die Lage ist ideal für kurze Wege nach Alkmaar, Amsterdam und ans Meer. Der See in Akersloot ist um die Ecke. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Daphne und Mark sind tolle Gastgeber. Vielen Dank!

We had the most fantastic week at Ivo's home. The house itself was spotless and we were welcomed with a beautiful basket of treasures for our stay as well as lovely soft bed linen and towels. It's very tastefully decorated and has all the amenities we required. A real home from home. The location is excellent. It was just a few minutes walk to the local shops and we especially loved the ice-cream boutique which serves the most delicious flavours. We used the train a few times to get to Haarlem and Amsterdam and the station is a short walk from the house. We didn't need to use our car the whole time we stayed there, preferring to cycle or walk. I cannot recommend Ivo's home highly enough.

Wir hatten ein schönes Wochenende mit der ganzen Familie in der Villa ( 8 Erwachsene & 5 Kinder ) Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet sehr viel Platz zum Spielen und toben. Der Weg zum Strand führt durch einen wunderschönen Wald. Die Kommunikation zwischen Gastgeber und uns war einwandfrei. Bei Fragen hatten man innerhalb wenigen Minuten eine Rückmeldung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had an amazing stay at Rick's Airbnb! The home had everything we needed and had plenty of spaces to relax. Rick was very responsive to any communication and had suggestions regarding local restaurants and facilities such as a gym. We highly recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed this last minute booking after arranging our tickets to the historic Dutch GrandPrix 2021 Formula 1. The Host Vivian was a great communicator pre, during and post the event. She arranged a pass through ticket to the closed event area within Zandvoort, which was a unique ticket to have closer access to the event by car. The house has a lot of charm, especially the living room and the garden with its relaxing area that was very welcome after a day of 20 thousands steps in Zandvoort.

Nous venons de passer 10 jours dans la magnifique maison de Jaxquline à Bakkum. La maison est totalement conforme aux photos. Magnifiquement équipée nous n'avons manqué de rien, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Nos 4 enfants et ado y ont tous trouvé leur compte. (but de foot, trampoline, les vélos à disposition, une télé dans chaque chambre, tt comme des enceintes sonos.) Chaque pièce a son charme, les chambres sont très bien et la cuisine immense! Entourée de verdure, la maison baigne dans la nature, la forêt et les dunes avec la mer à 15 minutes en vélo. Nous avons été accueillis par les beaux parents de Jacqueline qui habitent juste à côté. Très chouettes et toujours prêts à nous recommander des visites à faire ou un glacier à absolument tester. Nous recommandons vivement la maison. C'est sûr vous allez y passer un super séjour ! 我们团队一行6人，商务行后旅行经过一晚，1、房屋主人主动沟通确认到达时间，原计划8:30到，实际到达要9:30-10点了，提前1小时通知，房东非常有耐心； 2、房子里有树屋和秋千； 3、方便停车🅿️； 4、周围2.5KM有大海和海滩，沙滩上有贝壳🐚，很适合散步看海踩沙滩🏖️；

Beautiful property by a canal/inlet to a lake. Spacious rooms and a huge yard and patio overlooking the inlet. We had a friends reunion and was great to hangout on the patio. Very responsive host - got responses instantly. Great area - enjoyed runs and walks around the lake. Parking is across the street and is about 200m away from the property and one needs to follow the host's instructions to the T to get to the cottage from the main road.

Lovely Airbnb in the country right across the street from hiking trails and close to a cafe and brewery. Very clean, quiet, spacious, and has everything you need for a great stay. Would highly recommend and if I am ever in the area, would definitely love to stay there again.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist sehr groß und es gibt viele Schlafzimmer. Jedes der Zimmer ist schön und individuell eingerichtet. In allen Fenstern sind Fliegengitter, was super war. Es war ziemlich warm und so konnten wir problemlos mit offenen Fenstern schlafen. Im Haus und Garten gibt es super viele Spielsachen für Kinder, das hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Überhaupt ist das Haus sehr kinderfreundlich eingerichtet. Wir waren mit 14 Personen eine große Gruppe, da wäre ein 2. Kühlschrank noch gut gewesen. Der vorhandene Kühlschrank ist ziemlich groß aber bei so vielen Leuten war er trotzdem sehr voll und wurde sehr warm von außen. Alles in allem hatten wir ein tolles Wochenende und können das Haus für Gruppen mit Kindern absolut empfehlen.

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad. Ontzettend fijn en schoon huis van alle gemakken voorzien. hlHet contact met Richard en Simone verliep heel amicaal en prettig. Voor iedereen die rust, zee en strand zoekt is dit een aanrader.

This was a real special find! The 3 days we spent in Zeewold were amazing. We had a group of 10 friends, and we had a great time at this unique mansion. Everything was ready for us, the house is fantastic, the surroundings are very unique, the place is comfortable, quiet, with lots of home feelings. We were able to cook inside, ride the boat, play in the garden. We were a bit apprehensible because we were organizing this for a large group, with people coming from many countries, and we had never been to Zeewold before. Yet, the hosts helped out with clear information and sending all the details we needed. Not related to the house itself, but the Asian restaurant nearby is amazing (very recommended) and the city is close by for dinner, online orders and shopping. Two things we heard from people in the group: "when we came back next year..." and "this house is already our house, let's reserve it now!" So, looks like we will be back next year! Thank you!

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes derschönes, langes Familien- Wochenende in der Casa Bonita im Juni 2025, mit 5 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern im Alter zwischen 1 bis 6 Jahren. Haus, Einrichtung und Garten waren für uns perfekt. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. (z.B. 1 Kinderstuhl mit Gurt für die Kleine, 2 sehr gute Kinderstühle für die 3-5-jährigen) Die Küchenausstattung erfüllt alle Wünsche. Der Pool in der Anlage ist ca. 250 m von der Casa Bonita entfernt, beinhaltet einen kleinen, flachen Bereich für kleinen Kinder ( durch sicheres, hohes Geländer vom Schwimmer- Bereich getrennt). Was man wissen sollte: fußläufig sind weder ein Spielplatz, noch 1 Bäcker oder sonstige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreichbar. Aber nach 10 Minuten mit dem Auto ist man im Zentrum von Zeewolde, wo es alles gibt, was man so braucht, auch einen Strandabschnitt mit Spielplatz. Wir kommen sicher nochmal wieder....

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit (5 Nächte) mit der gesamten Familie (7 Personen + Hund) in dem Ferienhaus. Es war für jeden genug Platz, gerade der Außenbereich war für uns mehr als perfekt. Es war alles komplett eingezäunt, sodass wir unseren Hund ohne Probleme frei laufen lassen konnten. Innen war auch genug Platz für uns alle.
