This eco-house has double height windows pointing directly out to sea. A view which cannot be beaten. With all mod-cons, this modern building is pure luxurious comfort and peace, and comes with a top of the range separate sauna building all to yourself. The sauna has an cold shower, or wait till the tide comes in and run straight on to the beach for a dip. Harriet's House

Harriet’s House is in the small crofting township of Kyles, on the west coast of North Uist. It's yards from a vast, expansive beach on the island's Atlantic coastline. An ideal location for access to North Uist's beautiful beaches, trout filled lochs, moorland, hills, machair wildlife habitats, and a host of prehistoric sites. It's a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy, and a mile from the excellent, well stocked shop in Bayhead. The shop has a 24/hr petrol and diesel pumps.

Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break.
