Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Uist

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Enjoyed our three night stay in Uig! The place is absolutely perfect - plenty of room, amazingly comfortable beds, easy parking, well-equipped kitchen, and a spectacular view. Ian was a great host, had everything set up perfectly. Would highly highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Sally’s AirBnB highly enough. The location is superb, so peaceful with views out to the harbour from the private garden and the private parking was a god send. The house is spacious and has everything you need and Portree is a great base for exploring Skye and the Highlands and Islands. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was worth every penny! Sally is a great host, easy to get a hold of and sorts things out quickly.

This was undoubtedly the best experience (and accommodation) I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Sophie and Callum were absolutely fantastic hosts. Their house is beautiful, and the yurt is truly something special. First of all, it’s so thoughtfully designed and well organized. It has everything you might need — and more — and it was spotless. It’s very spacious, and the bathroom and kitchen are simply adorable. Second, everything was clearly explained, and Sophie and Callum left us fresh breakfast in the kitchen every morning. You get the unique feeling of being surrounded by nature, yet with total comfort. Sophie also gave us plenty of great recommendations for things to do and see, as well as excellent tips for nearby restaurants (listen to her — her suggestions are gold! And if you get the chance, have lunch at the Stein Inn — the seafood was sensational!). Overall, you can really feel how much love Sophie and Callum have poured into the space. Evelyn has been an amazing host and helped us a lot with our wedding adventure. The sauna was perfect to warm up in after a day outside and the bed extremely comfortable. We would return ❤️

Beautiful setting! Just what we wanted for exploring and relaxing on Skye. Peaceful and quiet. Much to do nearby and epic scenery all around. No food stores except co-op in Portree, guests be sure to stock up in larger town before heading out. Farm fresh eggs available to buy from neighbors. Excellent Stein Inn Pub is close by and has exceptional food. Overall the location exceeded our expectations by far. We are hikers and truly enjoyed the trail to Waternish Lighthouse featuring local sheep, cows and a treat to view the selkies in the cove under the lighthouse. The property itself was lovely, clean and well-maintained inside and out. We highly recommend this property. Especially if your first time to Isle of Skye. Hosts made everything SO easy, too!

57 Degrees North is absolutely stunning! It is situated on the Isle of Skye perfectly. It’s a perfect distance from town to feel like you’re in the country but close enough to grab something from the store. The home was truly spotless and cozy. The views are worth every penny. Truly a special place to holiday. Instructions for the home were thorough and well thought out. The home had everything we needed for our trip.

Eilidh's space was so lovely and cozy, it had a beautiful view overlooking the port! It was quiet while also being extremely central. Just a street away from the main strip with a grocery store, restaurants and boutiques. The space had many amenities for a family, including everything you would need to cook meals at home. What made our stay extremely enjoyable is the fact that Eilidh was incredibly responsive, very kind and made sure we were comfortable by checking in with us. A perfect homebase to explore the Isle of Skye!

A fantastic apartment with lots of extras including welcome and breakfasts packs. Facilities over and above those described. Great host lovely clean and homely accommodation. unfortunetely not a lot in Tarbert or surrounding areas no pub or night time restaurants within walking distnce very quiet town.

Had a fantastic stay over Hogmany. The flat was warm on arrival, which made all the difference. Lovely clean and comfy beds. Perfect central location, with plenty of bars and places to eat on your doorstep. Would highly recommend. Little gem in Portree!
