Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Yorkshire

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

Helen was an excellent host. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Harrogate. The house was spotless and very well equipped. 100% will stay again.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. We had a great stay as a family of 4 and the kids especially loved having the horses in the field out the front. Lucy was a great host! We would highly recommend.

Great place to stay in a lovely area. Very comfortable with everything we needed and lots of thoughtful little extras. John and Tricia were friendly and helpful hosts with lots of useful local recommendations. We loved meeting all the animals too. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at Spinney Cottage in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales. Rosie, Nicky and family were so kind and helpful. The cottage was perfect for a peaceful get away. It was spotlessly clean, friendly and inviting with those extra touches just making you feel at home. No detail was missed. Beds were super comfy. Log burner made you feel very cosy and was lovely to sit in the glow of this on the evenings. The eggs, cake, tea/coffee/milk and toiletries were all brilliant. We loved our stay, we loved meeting Tip, the ducks, chickens and bees. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again in a heartbeat.

A fantastic stay with Graeme & Gloria . The house and surroundings are so eco friendly. The chickens are very quiet and we loved having the use of tge garden. Top quality products were provided for breakfast and the presentation of the products was so nice. Attention to detail was exceptional and the book of recommendations was so helpful, including maps. Great Ousnourmevis a beautiful village. We ate at tge Lime Tree Inn and it was exceptional. Walking distance as well. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Fantastic hosts who work hard to make your stay perfect.

Julie and David were wonderful hosts. They touched base with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was OK. The location in the Yorkshire Moors is spectacular, a great place to spend time relaxing and as a starting point for hiking. The accommodations were exactly as described, well provisioned and as shown in the photographs. We highly recommend.

lovely stone annexe to Penny's house, in the pretty village of Carperby which is on a minor road so only local traffic. Very well appointed, all neat and clean. Penny is a great hostess and I really enjoyed my stay there. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic location overlooking marketplace in Masham with its beautiful Georgian buildings and independent shops. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Good centre for visiting Ripon, Harrogate, Fountains etc.

This is my second stay here. I cannot fault anything about the apartment. The bed is extremely comfortable, everything is exceptionally clean and there is plenty of hot water. It is in a great location within easy walking distance to Harrogate town centre and all the restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Ebor Suite and wished it was for longer. Beautiful decor and everything you need for a short stay. Great detailed instruction for check in. Close to a co-op if you need a few supplies and plenty of restaurants and takeaways. We would certainly return and would recommend to others.

We've already made 2 further bookings - that's how pleased we were with this property! Tim & Michelle are super hosts & easy to deal with. The apartment is comfortable, modern & imaculate. Great location with secure parking. Shops nearby & easy walking distance from the city centre.

We were here for an overnight stay for a wedding nearby, let us check in a bit earlier to get ready for it, didnt spend alot of time there but its a really lovely home very spacious and the beds were comfortable

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

Great location quiet, easy to get to. We stopped just 1 night so didn’t use anything in the kitchen but it had all you would need. Plenty big enough for 2 people with really comfy bed and large bathroom with walk in shower . Would definitely stay there again

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay , Ray very welcoming and helpful then left you alone to enjoy your stay , everything you needed and safe enclosure for my dog , very good butchers in the village lovely walking and Cod and Lobster in Staithes highly recommend , all in all very enjoyable very quiet , private and peaceful would definitely revisit and recommend

The views were breathtaking and the peace and quiet at the cottage was just what we needed. The views of the village, the sun set and the full moon were all beautiful gems we got to experience at Top of t’hill. You really have made it a cosy and comfortable stay, and it was a perfect getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The gym and sauna were great facilities that we benefitted and enjoyed too. Your eco environment friendly home and surroundings was an inspiration to us. Finally, your hospitality and kindness, and lovely chats with us made us feel like old friends! We loved our stay … the apartment was comfortable, light & airy with a pretty view out to the garden and the walls of York. Very easy walking distance to everything you would want to see & do in York. Great local restaurants. Could not recommend this apartment enough!!
