Great place to stay in the centre of Whitby

We stayed on a bank holiday and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have stayed. The bed was so comfortable and we slept amazing! The location is so easy to find and was right near everything which made it so easy to go to places. Parking was perfect and meant we didn’t have to worry about parking and could just leave the car and go and explore.The hosts were so friendly and easy to contact however we didn’t have an any problems while staying which made our trip even better. The apartment was spotless and designed beautifully but the view from the living room made it even better as we could see the castle and beach. We would definitely recommend booking here!

This was our third stay in Brooklands Hideaway and it was a great as ever. If you are looking for a stay in Scarborough then it really is worth it. The flat is spacious, clean and we feel right at home. It is also just a short walk down to the beach and into town while also being tucked away from everything so is relaxing and quiet. The host is also very helpful and accommodating and check in instructions are very easy to follow.

This is our second trip to Whitby. This stay was slightly closer to the centre which was a huge bonus. another bonus was the parking. The flat was beautiful, exactly as it shows in the pictures, spacious, spotlessly clean with very comfortable furniture. All the extras were very much appreciated, tea, coffee, biscuits, good sized mugs, tea towels, washing up liquid, salt & pepper & not forgetting the wine! We cannot fault anything about our stay and should we visit again, this will be our first & possibly only choice of accommodation. Thankyou Val x

Lovely accommodation, only a five minute walk from town centre. Co-op only stones through away around corner. Everything catered for in all rooms. Minimalistic so easy to keep tidy and gather belongings at end. Beds veeeerrrrryy comfy. Host v. Communicative and on the ball with info, including a v. Useful app so everything you need to know is in one place. Also basement allocated parking a bonus. Only thing needed now would be a seagull silencer for bedtime... 🤣

We had a fantastic stay with Pete and sally there place is excellent, clean , ideally located for all the amenities Pete gave us very clear instructions on finding them how to get in plus where parking is, the views from across the road are amazing plus very romantic if like me you proposed to your girlfriend (she said yes!!🥰) would definitely recommend there apartment and proposing 🤣

The apartment was so well located, clean and had everything you needed. It was very cosy. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the apartment.

I have stayed here a few times previously, this time with my wife and daughter (who was going to her 'Masters' graduation ceremony at Teesside University). Set in an equestrian centre, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, yet within a few minutes drive of Middlesbrough and Guisborough for shopping & restaurants , also with plenty of country walks , parks and forests in the locality. Not a long drive to plenty of 'tourist' locations, such as Whitby, Goathland (where 'Heartbeat' TV program was filmed), Thirsk (James Herriot museum) and the scenic North York Moors. The house was spotless (as usual) and has all the facilities we wanted for our week long stay plus the convenience of secure parking, practically at the front door. Any time I may be coming over to the area I would always check if 'Upsall' would be available for my accommodation, cannot recommend it higher then that!

Claudia’s place has been as wonderful as always. My wife and me have stayed here numerous times and has been equally comforting each time. Claudia advises on the tide times which is very helpful. Bramleys cottage is like home and have enjoyed every stay. Thanks Claudia❤️

5* Accommodation was spotless. Smelt clean and fresh as soon as you walked in the door. Lovely welcome pack included all the essentials. Lots of attention to detail and little extra touches which made the property feel like home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed and more. Located just outside of Whitby but easy to travel in and around the area. Views from the front window were amazing Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

1A is a credit to both Ian & Sarra. The property is perfect for 4 adults with each bedroom having it's own bathroom with another WC for emergencies downstairs! The presentation of the property is 1st class with you wanting for nothing. Ian & Sarra really have thought about everything. As an EV driver the ability to charge on site at anytime, at a very reasonable rate, was a bonus. The location was perfect for us, just a 10min stroll to the harbour providing your happy to tackle the Khyber Pass!.. a lot easier than the one in Pakistan!! We have no hesitation in recommending this property and it's location to anyone who wants a relaxing enjoyable stay in Whitby.

Great property and location for a nice quiet stay by the coast. Very close to lots of tourist locations. Very spacious property with a fantastic garden which is ideal if you have a dog.

My grandfather absolutely enjoyed his stay here. Had everything he needs and it was right by the beach 🏖️

We just finished a fantastic Easter weekend at Angela’s lovely home in Filey. We were two families, and the house was a perfect base for exploring Filey and the East coast. The house is beautifully finished, well equipped and spotless. It is also in a perfect location. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, gardens and the beach. The hot tub was an added bonus which the kids loved.

Great place to stay and Michael was very helpful with local knowledge and information. The Old Scalby Mill was great and only 5 mins walk. Bed was comfortable and pint of Milk in fridge and Coffee pods was a lovely touch. Thanks again.

We stayed here for four night at the start of the Summer 2025. The cottage is right on the pier in the middle of Whitby. We basically dropped the bags off parked the car and forgot about driving anywhere for the entire time we were at Whitby. Highly Recommended.

We loved our stay in Amanda's flat. It was very clean and tidy and well equipped with quality furnishings . The flat was very quiet . Paring was very easy and excellent to have. The flat is very well located and town is only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this flat for a short stay in Whitby as Whitby proved to be larger than we appreciated and we realise there is more to see. Also, huge number of good bars and restaurants within easy reach. the sea view is also a huge plus. Only thing we think would improve the flat would be a few more lamps in the living room and bedrooms for ease of reading . Also, a soap tray in the en-suite bathroom would not go amiss. We are already considering booking again while we can.

We stayed with Alison and John for goth weekend in April 2025. The apartment is amazing, there was everything you could ever had needed plus a lovely welcome gift too. The heated mirror in the bathroom was a good surprise! The location was perfect for all the happenings at goth weekend. Would definitely stay again if lucky enough to find it empty 🖤

Gorgeous, well equipped apartment in a wonderful location, within easy walking distance of the foreshore, the north bay and heaps of bars and restaurants. The bed was fantastic, the shower superb and the living room diner relaxed and comfortable. We loved it! Teresa is a brilliant host and we'd recommend a stay in any of her properties. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

This is the 2nd time we have stated here and it will not be the last . Ace location , lovely apartment and fantastic hosts . Looking forward to staying here again already.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

Location is closed to event site and also 10 minutes walk to the beach. Fast response from Joe&Roxanne. Definitely recommend.
