Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the Dales. Lovely, cute cottage with everything you’d need. Private garden was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs and some fantastic walks literally from the doorstep. Carole was always on hand for advice and local knowledge! Would definitely come back and stay again

We had a lovely stay at the cottage: everything was clean, comfortable and good quality. It’s in a super peaceful location, just birdsong and the occasional baa of the sheep neighbours! It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, just 30 mins from the coast and there are lots of beautiful villages on the moor. Highly recommended by us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in this lovely cottage. It is very well appointed and has everything you need for a short stay. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed being able to sit outside watching the sheep graze in the field behind. An ideal location for visiting Harlow Carr and Fountains Abbey. Jane is a friendly and helpful host.

Pauline and Graham were truly awesome hosts. A warm couple who are passionate about the home and family and who were so welcoming. The kennel offers more than enough space, was pristine throughout and beautifully decorated. We loved our stay at the kennel, pity we did not travel with our dogs as we know they would also have been welcome! Graham we also loved your beautiful garden. Thank you for the tour !

We had a lovely stay away at the Priory cottage. The place was beautifully kept and surrounded by stunning scenery. Would highly recommend Serena’s place to anyone visiting York. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Just what we were looking for - long scenic walks in beautiful surroundings. The flat was so lovely and was comfortable with everything we needed - with wonderful views. Perfect get away.

We had a fabulous stay at Hingabarn, a remote beautiful place, surrounded by wooded countryside with so many flower-filled meadows. Barn itself very clean with a well-equipped kitchen, and a very generous welcome pack! The drive up the track was fine, as per instructions just have to take it slowly and carefully. Thank you Paul and Barbara, we will be back!

We stayed here for a couple of days as we had a wedding to attend just down the road. The location was perfect for us - quiet, peaceful and only about a 5 minute drive from the venue. We met Graeme a couple of times and he was super friendly and lovely to chat to. The room was very clean and had everything we could have ever needed - including a lovely welcome pack which was hugely appreciated to fuel us up for a long wedding day! We didn’t get chance to explore the area as much as we usually would, but from what we did see it’s a beautiful setting and we’d absolutely stay here again! Thank you for such a lovely and stress free weekend! 🥰

Nothing is too much trouble for Emma, she is very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our weekend stay there. Lots of farm animals for young ones to interact with. The view from the cabin is spectacular too. I recommend the Robin Hood Inn, a short but steep walk down the hill. it's a proper rural pub with a quiet charm and excellent food. Thank you, Emma!

Lovely stay, great owners and great comms. Brilliant area and some good walks around, close enough to local towns. Overall 10/10

A lovely little retreat in the quiet countryside. We saw all sorts of wildlife which we enjoyed watching. The cherry tub is really cosy and the bed is comfortable. Jordan was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home.

If you’re looking for something peaceful, quiet and private (with the exception of peering sheeps) then this is perfect. The hut was beautifully set up for a couple’s getaway, with a lovely interior and all the amenities as described. Lorrie was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The place was very easy to find (by driving), close to Malton and about 40 minutes drive into York. Only negative for us was the top part of the glass door of the hut did not have a shade or shutter, hence it was very bright during sunrise (although eye masks are provided!) which was 4:30am for us during this time of the year. Otherwise we had the most relaxing stay and would definitely recommend.

Our weekend away here was perfect, the views were amazing and was very easy to find. It felt so private yet so safe. We loved using the hot tub and the log fire and it felt so cosy. Clitheroe was only a 20 minute drive and lots of sights to see no matter the weather. The host was a phone call away and was on hand for any queries. Would highly recommend.

Lovely barn conversion situated on a working equestrian farm. We loved seeing the horses. Short drive to Malton with all its amenities. Very clean and modern. Loved it, would stay here again if we were in the area 😀

Had absolutely everything you could need for a weekend getaway. The shepherds hut was incredible and had been furnished beautifully. The outdoor area is a great bonus and means you can still enjoy being outside even if it rains. Lots of lovely walks close by. Can't wait to go back!

This is a gem of a place, if it is free then book it immediately! really well equipped space, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed with lovely thoughtful extras like miniature gin (!), dog equipment and a torch. Enclosed garden with amazing views, even better if you head up to the cairns! Perfect location for walks from the doorstep and great pub food easily drivable. Jo and Steve were absolutely brilliant. Can't recommend enough.

As always, we had a wonderful stay at the Granary. Duncan and Adrian are the best hosts, and there is nowhere more idyllic and beautiful than lovely Levisham. Thanks again for having us- we will be back!

We have stayed at a Lee's previously and enjoyed the house so we was in the area again so snapped up the chance to stay again. The house is spacious and comfy and the hot tub is a bonus Lee is great as a host

This was our first time using airbnb and they set the bar ihigh. We received a warm welcome. Every need was catered for from cotton buds to laundry. pods. A beautiful property and surroundings; the cottage was clean rhoughtout Lots to do in the area with nice cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend this place and the hosts. Thank you🙂

what an absolutely amazing place to visit, with one of the moat picturesque views of the Yorkshire Dale anyone could wish from right in the backgarden. the cottage is spotless and has everything you could want for a break away.

When we arrived we were greated by Carolyn and Brian, Brian was just about to take Ruby (the dog) for a walk so Carolyn showed us around the apartment, it's a beautiful place to stay and would highly recommend it. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom/shower room is immaculate! The scenery is stunning and we managed to see the deer and a barn owl too!! We just wish we could have stayed longer!! We would just like to say a 'Big Thank You' to you both for making our stay such a lovely and welcoming one! We hope to see you again soon! Sue and Pete 😊 xxx

A beautiful and peaceful place to unwind in nature. Lots of lovely touches and a lot of thought has gone into creating a great place to stay. Binoculars for watching the rare birds, a telescope for looking at the stars and many other thoughtful things provided. Julian was lovely to deal with, very responsive, and recommended some lovely restaurants (the Staff of Life very nearby and the Old Gate in Hebden Bridge were favourites). Lots of spectacular walks nearby and places to visit. There are 3 chalets here so could work well for a group of 6-8 people if booked at once.

I thought the pictures were nice when I booked but the place was beyond my expectations. It had everything you could wish for and looking out at the waterfall was just amazing. I have never seen anything quite as beautiful. The hosts were fab and were very welcoming and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

Bob kept in touch from when we made the booking and made our stay pleasant throughout. It was interesting to meet him, and he was happy to share his knowledge of the area. His place is clean, comfortable with beautiful views, spacious, and on top of that, a lovely loaf of homemade bread, fresh milk, and orange juice. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
