Cottage holiday rentals in Northeast Italy

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful. We loved the surrounding views as much as the attention to detail of this Airbnb. My husband said it's his favorite we've ever stayed in! We really enjoyed our stay so much and would absolutely stay there again. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

We had a very nice vacation. The accommodation was beautiful and a meal package was already waiting upon arrival. The pool and the beautiful garden were perfect for relaxing. The accommodation was well equipped and lovingly furnished and decorated. Luca and Maria were great hosts who were always available and also gave us many tips for excursions. We will be happy to come back!

The stay at Sara's house was really very pleasant. This beautiful, recently restored house overlooks a fragrant, flower-filled garden. The kitchen is equipped with super appliances and quality dishes. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of high quality. nothing is missing to fully enjoy the holiday. Another thing that makes this village special is the fact that you have to leave your car and walk home on a pleasant walk while your luggage travels on the tractor driven by Bryan. far from the noise of the city, I spent hours immersed in the peace and greenery of the woods in the background. Sara and Bryan are caring and welcoming hosts and know how to anticipate every desire. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience moments of true relaxation.

Flavio è Mora are two exquisite people I had a great time In full privacy, no noise The small pool inside jacuzzi was fantastic. Flavio welcomed me in person and welcomed me very well

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

Sonia's Airbnb is breathtaking. The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Sonia is a wonderful host - she provides recommendations, answered all of my questions and always made sure that we had everything we needed. I wished we had explored the lake with her on her sailboat so if you get the opportunity I would book it! The only thing I would advise future renters is that the road to Sonia's Airbnb in Brunate is VERY, VERY narrow and winds around and around. It is very easy to get lost and go down the wrong street. If you're renting car, try to get the smallest car possible - it will help you to maneuver the narrows roads. There is a funicular stop close to the house so you could walk there and take it to Como or to the top of Brunate. It is much easier to get off at the top of Brunate and walk downhill to the house. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Place surrounded by greenery with very hospitable owners. The only downside is that you have to move with the car as the place isvery out of the way and you have to climb a mountain to get there. The apartments then have a defect because I feel everything between guests.. But we had a small bimbo for cuifes. We were more annoyed by us. 😅

Very nice, quiet location with a breathtaking view towards Portofino. The host and the agency responded quickly and helpfully to our inquiries. Thanks for that. Shopping facilities can be found sufficiently in Rapallo. A wonderful restaurant "Le due Querce" is within walking distance. The reservation was made without any problems through the host and the agency. In summary: top, wonderful, happy to come back.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in this beautiful place, Melanie was their to great us and had left treats for us and the children. The views are out of this world I felt truly blessed to be able to wake up and sit out on the balcony. The house had everything we needed, hammocks, bat and ball games for the children. The local area is backed with walks to waterfalls some are only a 20 min walk away and easy to get too. When I sent messages to Melanie or her husband they where answered quickly and helpfully. Roman and Melanie brought up a traditional local desert for us to try and it was very tasty. I would fully recommend for anyone visiting Slovenia to stay here, we had five days and I wish we had stayed for the last two days of our holiday as we moved on to a hotel which has cost more but isn't as good as this home! Truly gorgeous accommodation. We were greeted by Eleonora's mother. As we were were travelling from other city in Italy we arrived early and she was happy to allow us to start our stay. There was a folder provided with all the important details, but this beautiful lady also explained everything else including her favourite places to visit, nearest bus stops and all the other little things that are useful. We were also advised that there was a chance of both a visiting cat (which sadly we hardly saw) and her large dog, similar to a Huskie. The latter visited just the once and was an adorable, a big cuddly softie. The only one very small negative was that the water tank was quite small so the showers had to be taken quickly, before washing the breakfast pots or coping with the cold water! Again we were warned! The accommodation was comfortable and totally private with a secure parking place. A very peaceful nights sleep. Everything we needed was supplied. Great value.

We had a wonderful stay at Fabios place and were able to wind down perfectly. The house is located in a beautiful small village, perfect for relaxing and getting away from big city trouble. Fabio is a great host, we felt really welcomed and had exactly the vacation we hoped for. Thanks !

Great and quiet house in a secluded location - surrounded by pure nature. We felt very comfortable! In the house, everything was as described and everything you needed was there. It's an old house, but it offered a good comfort and most importantly a really great location if you like to have your peace and quiet. Communication with Janez was great and always quick and friendly. An absolute highlight is of course the river right in front of the house. The nearest supermarket is just a few minutes away. It was all great, we had a good time and would come back anytime.

Germana and Carlo have one of the most beautiful accommodations for us in this beautiful spot. The cottage is super clean, furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The green meadows around it with a view of the mountains are simply wonderful. Lake Ledro is just around the corner and hiking is also great here. We enjoyed the week with our two small children very much and would like to thank Germana and her husband once again. They had plenty of excursion destinations and restaurant tips ready and were very kind and accommodating.

The house is perhaps 200 yards from the nearest other dwelling, up on the side of a hill, quite a way up, with beautiful views of the dolomites and down the valley. The house was well equipped and had a wonderful big wood stove for heat. There were hiking trails right out the front door as well as within relatively short drives away into the beautiful dolomites. Hiking here was a major draw for us. This is a peaceful, beautiful house that is not in the middle of amusements and restaurants although restaurants and two small grocery stores are just a short distance away. The host Manfred was very understanding and responsive. We absolutely did not want to leave.

Yet another wonderful stay in Meriggio in Settignano. The location and views are so beautiful, and the house is so comfortable and perfect for two people. As it is our third visit, we know what to expect and yet again, it met all our expectations easily. A perfect place to relax and unwind, yet with easy access to Firenze when you want a change of scene.

We had a wonderful time in the cottage in Portovenere. It is a wonderful, beautiful and authentic place - newly renovated. Agnes and her family were very hospitable and attentive hosts. The view and the atmosphere of the terrace outside the house is out of this world.

Absolutely stunning, authentically Italian cottage in the mountains of Tuscany. Rosella was a fantastic and welcoming host. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. The only drawback was the very steep hill - pack your trainers/ walking shoes.

A beautiful house, in a nice quiet location. You will use the entire ground floor. Equipped with everything you could wish for. Beautiful garden to enjoy the surroundings. Friendly neighbors. Nice contact with the host. Recommended? Yes, definitely.

Great location to explore from and close to lots of restaurants and shops. Beautiful spot and host was very helpful. The cottage is very small, ideal for a solo traveller or couple. Would recommend.

It is a very nice large spacious apartment. It is very nice in Piovere, from where you can start various hikes. Piovere has two restaurants and a nice little mini-market.
