We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. I'd love to come back. Thank you.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about a 15-minute drive away. But with appropriate planning, that's no problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

Very clean and functional spaces. Good level of equipment in every way. The bathroom had soaps, shampoos, and other basic cosmetics products. The host was well in advance about the practicalities, and all communication was very good. The dog was away and there are nice jogging spots nearby. Strongly recommend!

Me and my partner really loved the stay at Martti´s place - the place was clean and cozy and very close to the Ruka Ski Center. The sauna heated up quickly, the view from the balcony and bedroom window was just amazing! Will definitely visit again and suggest this place to my friends!

It was a very nice accommodation, with a great location, cozy furnishings, great views of the lake and a very good karma. The wooden sauna and cooling off in the lake. We were happy to be there, very nice hosts. Communication worked very well, next trip to the North Cape again.

We had a lovely 3 days at this apartment. We had all the facilities to cook and look after ourselves which was what we needed. The sauna was an added bonus. Great location and very comfortable apartment.

We had a wonderful time at Eija‘s place and were able to make most of our winter trip to Finland. The accommodation is very cosy and perfect for a relaxing holiday! We really enjoyed staying there and are looking forward to returning!

The apartment offered everything you needed, and the kitchen was equipped for a wide range of needs. The neighborhood was very quiet at this time of year and we had a good night's sleep for the trail race. The location is excellent for Rukatunturi, a little further away from the center of events, but still within walking distance.

The host responded to messages kindly and showed flexibility. Great for the outdoors, as trails and winter outdoor trails comfortably 50m away on the ice of Lake Talvijärvi. A short trip to the store and the village.

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

Staying at Marie’s cabin was everything we needed and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful fairytale — the kind of place you dream about when life gets too loud. Nestled deep in the forest, the cabin offered total tranquility, but without sacrificing comfort. Everything was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and filled with cozy touches that made it feel like home. Marie was a truly exceptional host — warm, responsive, and full of local tips that made our stay even more special. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience. We especially loved the wood-burning stove, the big windows looking out onto the trees, and the morning coffee on the porch with birdsong all around. Thank you Marie.

Communicating with your host was smooth and quick. We found everything we needed in the cabin and a little more. Summer flowers in the doorway immediately made me feel welcome. Very neat cottage and just wonderful beach sauna! We spent a lot of time on the beach, in the sauna and eating soup. To top it all off, the scenery is ridiculously beautiful! I recommend it!
