After sauna spot the northern lights from the terrace and when you see them, head to the river, 200 meters from the house, for spectacular views of the Auroras without light pollution. Upon returning to the house drift to relaxation while enjoying the fireplace. Located within the city area, this is the perfect place to have a bit of distance from the tourist filled areas and experience the peace of Lapland.

Wooden cottage by the lake. Enjoy peace and quiet, explore the surrounding woodland, pick berry or try fishing. Woodland trails for hiking and mountain biking. Rowing boat. Lake share is shallow and suitable also for children. Electric lighting and heating. Outdoor Sauna by wooden stove. Hot and cold water (drinkable) from tap. Air conditions (living room and both of bed rooms), Fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, electric oven and hobs. The nearest market in Posio 20 km from cottage.

Villa Pahta, More than just accommodation! PEACE!

A beautiful area only a 15 min drive from the city centre. Our cozy villa (280m2) is a unique place to spend a holiday near the city, yet in a very peaceful environment, surrounded by the wild nature. You can sit by the bonfire. Whenever the Aurora Borealis appear on the sky, it is easy to see them, because there is no artificial light other than the lights of the our villa. (much better than city centre) I also offer a real Santa Claus visit to my Villa for a small additional fee.

Separately, you can rent a hot tub or a smoke sauna in the yard. Additional beds can be booked as a shared stay in the main building. Extra bed mattresses can also be found for children. In the yard, there's room to move and play. In the common areas, the possibility of using the kitchen and washer.
