Great location within walking distance of Ruka village and west slopes! It's also a great place for families with kids. Peaceful location and the apartment showed a great evening sun. There were also no noises from neighboring apartments. There were good dumbbells and a pole + squat in the gym downstairs, as well as Concept 2's rowing and ski equipment = everything necessary for functional training👍🏻. If you had to come up with something to improve, the wifi in the apartment didn't want to be enough.

Amazing Stay in Finnish Lapland The Airbnb is in a wonderfully remote location, perfect for a private and peaceful experience. Activities like snowmobiling with Pekka (the host) and a husky tour with David (Matara Creek Oy) were unforgettable and felt intimate, far from crowded tourist spots. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights. Since the area is so remote, all you need to do is cross the road, and you’re surrounded by darkness: perfect for aurora viewing. There’s even a bird tower nearby that offers an excellent spot to watch the lights. Truly unforgettable! The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful extras like spices, towels, and even cold-weather gear. Pekka and Satu were fantastic hosts—respectful of our privacy but happy to help when needed. Don’t miss the sauna or the campfire experience after a snowmobile tour! Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Lapland getaway.

The apartment was clean, clear instructions upon arrival, and the beds were really comfortable to sleep with the bedding. A big plus for the location, right next to the train station, so when traveling by train, it's an easy and good option.

Good accommodations

Very kind and flexible host. It wasn't a problem for him to come for us at middle of the night to airport. He also agreed to return us part of money, because our flight was delayed for one day. Location is perfect, it's 10 minutes walk to a city centre. The room is cute, it has everything you need. The best thing is sauna. You can be very lucky, if you get his Airbnb. We surely come back.

The room is great, exactly as described, fully equipped and well equipped, and the room is clean and tidy.The check-in instructions provided were also detailed, and the place that was lacking in the US and China was a slower and more systematic response with no help with our needs.Still a good place to stay overall.

Nice one bed room unit in a ski lodge apartment complex within a few minutes walk of Tahko mountain ski lifts. Has all the necessary features for a comfortable ski weekend. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

What an amazing place to stay it was totally perfect for our family of 6 children. The house was home from home and the kids loved the gymnasium where the boys slept. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Cooking was was after a trip to the supermarket. The grounds were enormous and so beautiful. The outside sauna and kota were so much fun. As for Marja and Pierre, they are the most incredible, loving wonderful people. They were so kind and helpful. They helped with husky and reindeer rides and with hiring a car and trains/buses. True human angels that made our holiday extra special. I will forever treasure cooking sausages with Pierre on the open fire. They cooked us a delightful meal on New Year’s Eve and welcomed us like family. Thank you so much. You have touched our hearts xx
