House holiday rentals in Northern New Mexico

We had a fantastic mini-vacation at Vincent’s place. We stayed for four nights, and chose this location for quick availability, acceptance of pets, and heated pool and hot tub. The place was spotless, it smelled amazingly clean when we first walked in. The beds were cozy, kitchen was beautiful. The heated pool was an absolute blast, and perfectly heated so that it didn’t feel too warm or too cold with the changing weather. On one of the mornings there were a lot of bugs in the pool and when we couldn’t find a skimmer, Vincent kindly brought us one and ensured the pool cleaners came out too. Props to the pool cleaners as they were quick and thorough! We felt safe and cared for the entire duration of our stay and would certainly stay again.

For folks looking for a central location to do the major, but spread-out Four Corners experiences (Chaco, Mesa Verde, Canyon de Chelly), this is the perfect spot. The house is very nice and very well appointed with a gorgeous private pool/hot tub area. It easily and comfortably accommodated five adult hikers, each in his own bed. Alysia was the perfect host. Everything was stellar except that from the listing - there was nothing that indicated this was a multi-family housing unit. I likely would not have booked had I known. That said it was impeccably clean and an amazing location. All amenities were great and rules were very reasonable and clear. As hosts, Jenny and Brian should be commended for offering such. Wonderful place - I just wish I had know it wasn’t as secluded as I thought.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shina’s place. The experience was seamless, private, relaxing, and perfect for our week in ABQ. Plus, Wolfy (the house pup) was a welcome surprise and made for a fun and playful stay. Should a trip to ABQ pop up, I would 100% recommend this place. Great stay!

Cute little place on River. Place is exactly as described and hosts were able to provide a wealth of information about the area no matter your interests. Was there when in high 90s and the place stayed very comfortable in low 70s throughout the day even without AC. Definitely recommend!

I wish I could give more than five stars! Susan thought of everything that would make this cozy space feel spacious, welcoming, and beautiful. It’s walking distance from Ojo Santa Fe, which must be part of paradise. Not near grocery stores, so bring your ice cream with you! Bed was comfy. Place was so clean. Susan was unbelievably helpful. I will look to see if this casita is available next time I’m in the area.

Sara’s Casitas Amazing is the word that comes to mind first. Seeing the sunset and the sunrise, amazing. This home is just the right size, and beautifully decorated. From the bedroom with the comfortable bed to the bathroom with the beautiful colors, the vibe is calm peaceful & comfortable. The living area spacious, the kitchen is well stacked with everything one needs to make a meal before headed out or upon return. Sara introduced me to the local coffee ( I bought some back home from the farmers market) This was a needed quiet time for us and we found the perfect spot, downtown is about 20 minutes away so easy in and back again. But it was the morning breakfast on the deck and early evening rest in the hammock that started and ended the days. We will be back, Big Thanks Sara Geraldine & George

Judith's place is homey, well-equipped, and so comfortable. We loved it. The surrounding area is beautiful and you can walk to the nearby lavender farm. Judith was responsive and gracious. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying here. They had everything we needed and more. Plenty of amenities. Beautiful property. We felt right at home. We will be staying here again.

I'm not the best at written reviews, but I must for Katrina and their casita. We had the best time at Katrina's casita. We visited the area for my partner's birthday and wanted something tucked away and quiet and relaxing, but also not too far out but close enough to some local food and breweries. When we found her casita online, we were impressed, but when we saw it in person, we were blown away with how perfect it is! It sits on the most beautiful property in one of our favorite cities, and is the most relaxing AirBNB we have had in 10+ years. And, for a casita, this place is huge! Designed beautifully inside and out. And every piece of furniture was well thought out and comfortable. Every detail of the casita was thought of! Katrina and family were so kind, warm, and inviting. She and her family were all super friendly and offered to help us make the best of our stay, without being overbearing. It was really a treat to stay here. And I would definitely love to return!

We are Airbnb regulars, and The Barn was one of the best we’ve stayed in to date! The home was very spacious for our group of 4, yet cozy and comfortable. It is in a serene location with wonderful outdoor space for relaxing and chatting (the river is a must!), yet only about 5-10 minutes from Taos shops and restaurants. We hiked every day, both in the Ski Valley and along the river gorge trails, and The Barn was an ideal location for all. Lesley went above and beyond to help us with both restaurant and hiking recommendations. Book now! You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately spent only one night at Chad and Misty‘s place. We didn’t miss anything and would have liked to stay longer to explore more of the area/mountains close by. Communication and check in was very friendly and convenient. We appreciated the option to quickly do our laundry and everything was very clean. Would certainly recommend.

Spectacular location with the scenery and peaceful surroundings. We loved the hot tub, watching the sunsets! Make sure you bring your food supplies since you are a way from any grocery store, but the remoteness is part of the appeal of this home. We spent a wonderful day at the Ghost Ranch and another touring Georgia O’Keefe’s home in Abiquiu, an amazing part of New Mexico, and to be so comfortable at this home was quite a treat!

Loved the place. A quick overnight my son and I. Conveniently located within 5 miles of Ojo hot springs. Comfy beds. Enjoyed the gurgling creek outside and wide open skies.

Absolutely loved my stay! Domminic was friendly, proactive, and responsive - making it an easy experience from the moment I booked my stay. The place was exactly as described: beautiful in its simplicity, peaceful, and private even with two family homes right next to the casita. The casita has clearly been built and maintained with care and attention to detail. Personally, I appreciated the digital detox with both spotty to no cell service and WiFi at the casita (I had great cell service at the gas station which is just 1 minute away by car; WiFi didn't work even though I had logged on; wasn't a problem for me so I didn't bother to approach Domminic about it, but something to keep in mind if you are traveling alone and/or are planning to work remotely). I was attending a wedding at Ghost Ranch which is an easy ride from the Casita. I would definitely return for another stay!

I had a great stay at Bennie’s Airbnb and would absolutely book again. I visit Albuquerque often and have noticed his listing a few times—it’s usually unavailable during my visits, which speaks volumes. So if you’re reading this wondering whether to book, let me just say: it’s often booked for a reason! The bed was extremely comfortable, the space had a unique and inviting vibe, and everything felt thoughtfully put together. The laundry machines were modern and surprisingly efficient, the shower had great pressure and hot water, and the entire space was quiet—I didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary during my stay. Bennie clearly takes pride in maintaining a high-quality stay. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were great views of the mountains and the adobe house was really cool. It was also a very close drive to downtown Taos and Taos Ski Valley.
