Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Vietnam

Good communication, room like on the pictures, location 10/10 - I can totally recommend this place :) Also we used the shuttle service from the airport. Everyone worked out very smooth. Thanks a lot.

The studio has an amazing view of the west lake. The room has great amenities and is spotless clean. Duy is a very nice and responsive host

Chủ nhà rất thân thiện và chu đáo. Mình đặt phòng khá muộn nhưng được gửi hướng dẫn nhận phòng ngay rõ ràng và dễ làm theo. Căn hộ rộng rãi, sạch sẽ, decor hiện đại và sang trọng. Không gian yên tĩnh, ở rất thoải mái. Mình rất hài lòng và sẽ quay lại vào lần sau

We stayed there for three nights, the host was very corporative and responsive. We had a great time, she extended on check out for an hour as per our request. She even let us use her washing machines without any fee. The place Just off the road therefore there was no noise pollution. We highly recommend this place.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, es gibt eine Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer. Wir konnten sogar die Waschmaschine benutzen. Die Gegend rundherum ist sehr belebt, es gibt viele nette Lokale und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Die Kommunikation läuft sehr gut und schnell. Wir würden die Unterkunft sofort weiterempfehlen.

사진과 동일했고 넓은데 가격까지 합리적이였고 , 입맛이안맞는 저한텐 1층에 K마켓이있어 너무편리하였습니다. 호스트가 소통이 잘되어 첫 자유여행인데 어려움없이 가족들과 즐겁게 시간보내다갑니다.

I had a great stay at this place! The location is excellent — very convenient and close to many popular tourist spots, which made getting around really easy. The apartment was clean and looked exactly as described in the listing, which I really appreciated. A couple of things to note: the TV had some issues staying connected to the internet, which made it hard to use YouTube, and the blankets in each room were quite thin — they felt more like bed sheets than actual blankets. It would be great if thicker blankets were provided for more comfort. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would still recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the area!

The house by the bamboo forest in Tả Van is a place I always want to return to whenever I need rest and a reset. This season, the roses in the garden are in full bloom, and the village is incredibly beautiful the locals have started planting rice during the water-pouring season, turning the valley into a stunning mirror of the sky. The house is lovingly cared for by Sen and the housekeeper, and every morning, a chef comes over to prepare delicious meals. I truly enjoy staying here this is already my second time, and I’m sure I’ll bring my family back for another stay in the future.

We had a great stay! They were always quick to respond, gave us a lot of great recommendations for the area, and even provided us things like a SIM card and water, etc! It was right in front of a lovely cafe and delicious restaurant and the place itself is not too far from the lake and other really great must-see places like the Thang Long Water Puppet Show ! Would definitely stay again!!

Could not say anything better about my experience with this host. Extremely responsive and accommodating with our early check-in. In terms of the apartment, location was great, very clean, and good for larger groups.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Moon. Obwohl wir um 06:00 Uhr in der Früh ankamen, hat Moon einen Transfer vom Flughafen organisiert, der sogar sehr lange auf uns gewartet hat, da wir noch zunächst Probleme mit dem Visa hatten. Moon war jederzeit erreichbar, hat schnell geantwortet und sehr hilfreich. Sie hatte gute Tipps für uns, was man in der Umgebung anschauen kann. Es gibt außerden die Möglichkeit Fahrräder oder Roller bei ihr auszuleihen oder Essen zu bestellen. Es war sehr schön und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Great location. Unit was as described. You enter through the barber shop, which was interesting. The first floor was one bedroom that had an attached bath and a lockable door. The second floor was the common area that had a couch and a couple of chairs and a television. Third floor was a second bedroom that was rather large with an attached bath. And the forth floor was a small bedroom. Each bedroom had a balcony, which would have been really nice had it not been so warm out. The bedrooms on the third and 4th floor do not have doors, so not as much privacy. We had two couples and used the first and third floors, so no issue. Host was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay at this place! It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, and communication with was excellent. Site located to some sort of military area so very protected and safe. Gorgeous view to colonial house. Super quiet as well so can sleep peacefully. Highly recommend!

I had pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment. The place is clean. It had a cozy and warm atmosphere. The furniture was comfortable, and the living room was huge, as we had 3 kids with us and they have enough space for playing. There was also a kids playground on the ground floor. The building was safe, as there are security guard even druing the night. We had no trouble getting to the place at 2AM when we checked in. Ha was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had.

Everything was great! I really liked this place — it’s close to the lake and just as described. Would stay here again.

Nguyen was very responsive, had great recommendations, and helped every time we reached out. The property was even better than we expected with access to great views, restaurants, spas, bars, etc. Our experience was 10 times better given the experience and we were sad when we had to leave! 11/10 would recommend :)

The room is great, and so is the host. The owner is honest, enthusiastic, and delicate. It makes me comfortable here because I feel like the host will always be ready to support me at any time

We had a wonderful stay at Helen’s place in Hanoi! The apartment was clean, complete with everything I needed, and incredibly comfortable — a perfect home base for exploring the city. Helen was an amazing host: warm, responsive, and always ready to help with great local tips. Me and my Highschool friends truly felt welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hanoi!
