Guesthouse holiday rentals in Northside

My husband and I spent 5 days at Susan's beautiful guest house and loved every minute of it! Susan's home was close enough to Cruz Bay to make it a quick drive to restaurants, the national park, shopping, ferry dock, markets, gas, etc. but far enough away for peace and tranquility. And the view of Cruz Bay was beautiful. The house was spotless and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings were great quality and the bed was comfortable! I loved the outdoor showers , the gardens and beautiful patios with their archways and shell designs. Susan also provided beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler which we were so grateful for and used everyday! And best of all, Susan was so sweet to answer any questions we had and to offer suggestions of places we would enjoy exploring throughout our stay. We would 100% stay here again and would give her 10 stars if we could!

We had a great time at this airbnb! The view from the balcony was fantastic, and it was relatively close to Red Hook (we would recommend driving or getting a taxi instead of walking though, as the road is curvy and the cars drive quickly). Carmen, the property manager, answered all of our questions and kept us informed about an incoming storm. There isn't a ton of space inside, but that was fine for our group because we spent most of the time outside of the house.

This place is an absolute dream! We were blessed to have stayed there 9 days and it still wasn’t enough. It’s a true gem in the middle of paradise. Catherine was wonderful!

The villa at House of Open Arms was the perfect home base for our honeymoon. The views are breathtaking, the grounds and gardens pristine, and the villa was incredibly warm and inviting. We loved how quiet and peaceful the villa and Coral Bay were. Catherine went above and beyond to ensure our arrival to the island and drive to the villa was seamless. She is also a fantastic cook - our welcome dinner was 10/10! We couldn’t have asked for a better hostess or home for a week. I wish we could give Catherine more than 5 stars! Thank you everything, Catherine! We will be back!

What a beautiful place - the views were amazing. The location - astounding! The unit itself had everything we needed. Close to snorkeling and hiking. Be sure to rent a Jeep because the roads are steep and winding. We loved it!

Pink pineapples and bananas, out there but close enough, have a car or a rental, we were nighttime restaurant people but this Place put us right on island time. Loved the outdoor kitchen and environment. We “HAD!” To extend our stay 3 nights. St. John is, just come see. Definitely not a resort & no tourist. After doing it all every which way, pray I do it this way again. Thank you so much. Word of advice talk to Cory Lynn, very intelligent and offers great advice. We hope to be back soon. I can't say enough. The cottage was extremely clean and organized. It was surrounded by nature and tucked back beautifully into the mountain. The space really comes alive at night with all the amazing sounds of the frogs. There's so much love and history that was put into this unit. Cory Lynn would love to share the history behind this place if you ask. We spent the first half our vacation here and the other half on St Thomas. The whole time we were on St Thomas, we were wishing we had extended our stay at this cottage instead. Our expectations were exceeded and we would absolutely love to come back. Cory Lynn was extremely helpful and quickly responsive, which is huge when renting on this website. Thank you so much!!

Deena and Charlie were fabulous, I truly felt like I was staying with family! They welcomed us with open arms, so inviting, so informative and very knowledgeable of the island and all there is to do. I loved getting to know them, beautiful people inside and out!!! I was so impressed with Charlies French Quater Bistro and Deenas captains skills!!! Being next door to Lime Tree Resort is just the icing on the cake, because the sunsets are breathtaking. 10/10 will definitely be booking again! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Absolutely phenomenal views, unparalleled in all of St Thomas. Everything was perfect. Our favorite stay in the Caribbean!

Our stay at Madidadi Clifftop was absolutely stunning from start to finish! The location couldn’t be better. It was stunning, peaceful, private, and close to everything we wanted to explore. The guest suite was beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials (and then some). And of course, the ocean views were unreal. Our host, Ruby, was the absolute sweetest!! So warm and helpful, and she gave us great recommendations for food and beaches to check out. Truly a 10/10 experience, no complaints. Can’t recommend this spot enough and already excited to come back!

Lera was a great host and always responsive. The beds were very comfortable and for a person with pain issues, this was extremely important. Parking is right next to the home. Great mountain and ocean views. Awesome wildlife / night sounds from frogs and other critters. The clothesline worked very well and swimming suits dried nicely overnight. You are two minutes down the road from an awesome bar / restaurant “Champs” that has excellent food with lactose free and vegan options. The chef makes his own cashew ice cream which is phenomenal. There’s also another restaurant that has amazing views looking at the British Virgin Islands just a few minutes from the home . The atmosphere is amazing and the view is top-notch. Food so-so but you pay for that amazing view. It’s called Windmill Bar. The host lists many of the great restaurants on the island, including some fine dining in Cruz Bay. 7 min from home. 1864 great! The home is situated nicely between activities!

Lera place is wonderful place to spend with friends or family at St John. The house is so comfortable and welcoming and has everything you need and feels like home. Everyone love the beds they were so comfortable we did not want to get up in the morning. It is in a quite area up a hill and close to town and all beaches so perfect location. The driveway up to the house is steep. Lera was very nice and quickly responded to any questions we had and provided all sorts of recommendation of places to go and visit which was very helpful. Would recommend it 💯 for stay in St John

We had a wonderful stay and can't say enough about how many great things these accommodations had to offer. Our family of four stayed in the combined two-bedroom place and studio. We were impressed by all of the beach items: chairs, towels, snorkeling gear, bags, and umbrellas. It made it very easy to go to the beach. And it was nice having the beach within walking distance. Deena and Charlie were super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. We would also recommend Charlie's restaurant, the French Quarter Bistro, excellent food and service! Deena was very helpful with local recommendations from supermarkets to boat charters. The location of this house made it easy to get to all of our vacation activities. The AC in the bedrooms made it easy to sleep. This house is a slice of paradise and we would love to come back.

Tina and Joe were great hosts. Their little cottage was a perfect base to explore St John's beaches, they even provide the beach gear. The kitchen has basic spices and some oil, so if you are planning to cook make sure you bring what you need if basic spices won't work. The mini-split in the bedroom keeps it nice a cool. The rest of the cottage is usually pretty breezy, but still a little "tropical". We had an issue with the hot tub not working, but Tina provided a discount to help with our missing out on that amenity. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at Cassis and will do it again! My husband and teen son stayed for one week in Sept. We found her place to be relaxing, close enough to town and loved our view from the living and bedroom. The pool was a nice way to cool off and special treat after remarkable beach days. Having Cassi being on property gave us a sense of comfort that anything we needed would be address. Etc we never felt it was an intrusion to our privacy. We felt right at home, pretending to be locals for a week! We love STJ and definitely will return to Cassis place! Tip; the address will not be found on maps so follow Cassi's through directions when heading to her place. They truly have a little gem of a spot!

I loved the place , felt like home , very private , no one hovering over you . Everyone was adult and kept the shared space very clean . They supplied things I didn’t know would be supplied . 10/10 service and care for my stay . If I stay any where it will be there again just with a car not much walking distance . 5/5 thanks so much for the hospitality my 5 year old Loved it … will be back . Can’t wait to see the place next years with all the added feature

This was the best Air BnB experience I have had yet! The property is beautiful and the view from the patio is the best view on the islands. We will definitely be back!

Jennifer’s place was beautifully decorated. Looks exactly like the pictures. 10 minute drive to Red Hook. Communication was great. 10/10 Highly Recommend.

This place is perfect for a getaway to St. John. So convenient to walk down the hill and all around Cruz Bay for a nice selection of restaurants, bars, and shops. The Wifi works well, there is a full kitchen, with pretty much all the equipment anyone needs. Well designed layout that is very comfortable. Loved it!

If I could give this place 100 star rating I would. The hosts were so helpful and accommodating. They even allowed us to rent a car on the property. The view was spectacular and they gave us great suggestions on things to do close by. I will always book with them when I visit USVI.

A truly amazing bnb. The house itself is very well thought out and makes the most of the space. We stayed in this 2-room guest house as a family of 5 for 5 days and didn’t feel cramped at all. The inside was incredibly clean and the host was very responsive. We had an issue with one of the AC units and someone came out to look at it within minutes of sending the text to the host. The real selling point of this bnb is the location though. We were no more than a 2 minute walk (with 3 kids in tow) from Sapphire Beach and it was incredibly convenient to food and the bar located on the beach. The view was beautiful and we still felt secluded from the very popular beach right next to us. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend to families, couples, or friends.
