Beachfront holiday rental in Northumberland

The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, it is in a perfect location to explore the local attractions we love it .

Had a brilliant time at Jon’s place. It is truly beautiful and immediately comfortable too - we settled in very quickly and slept so well in the enormous beds! Jon is a friendly and welcoming host, and was super-helpful with local recommendations and travel tips. Great area, plenty of history and some interesting little shops and eateries. We travelled by train - an easy 10-15 minute walk either through the town or along by the river. Wonderful base if you’re exploring the Northumberland coast or heading into south east Scotland. We did both, and hope to return! Definitely recommended.

We can only say extremely positive comments about Amanda and Seas the Day. The house was a home from home, we settled instantly. Everything you could want was provided and kitchen appliances were straight forward to use. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The area was quiet and in a good location for visiting local beaches and castles.We were blessed with sunshine which made every trip out, beautiful. Amanda was a super, responsive host.We thank you and wish you a happy, successful future. xl

Exquisite interior design that really added to the stay; hot tub was an absolute delight at the end of each day; location superb; enjoyed sitting at the rock pools watching dolphins - a true blessing; local amenities perfect; loved the proximity to the sea which meant I could have safe evening walks admiring the sunset and enjoying the peaceful sea views at night. Highly recommend. Thank you also Jen for the delicious scones, jam and cream!

The property is spacious, but still cosy. It's best feature has to be it's location - situated literally on the coastal path, with great views and just a short walk to a fabulous, huge empty sandy beach. The walk along the beach to Warkworth, with it's castle, bridge and pubs/restaurants is a must.

From initial enquiry to check out, Martin and Maria were easy to communicate with, friendly and professional. The bungalow is beautifully situated, with plenty of parking. On entering, it was spotlessly clean with every facility we could have wished for and was even bigger and better than the photos. Great sea views from the conservatory and lounge and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. The huge lounge was lovely and when the evening turned chilly, the efficient heating soon warmed us. Beds and bedding were comfortable and loads of hot water for great showers. Well equipped kitchen and very handy to have huge fridge and freezer. We found that it was easy to get to all the places on our ‘to do’ list - Puffin/seal watching boat trip, Barter Books, endless fabulous beaches, great pubs, lovely walks. Would definitely recommend this lovely place and thank Martin and Maria for their hospitality. Would not hesitate to book again if we are lucky enough to return.

We have just returned from a lovely week staying in the flat at Beadnell. The flat was modern, spacious and comfortable. It had every thing you might need for great time away. The flat has a lovely view of the sea and was very well placed to make a good location for visiting the area. There was lots of helpful information to make the most of the locality.

Really enjoyed our stay, what a lovely place, so pleased we found this gem. Quiet, lovely walks for both of us and our dog. Lovely beach walks..perfect.. Everything so well thought out in the accommodation, had everything we need.. Will definitely be booking again to come back! Thank you to Tom and Dawn

Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Second stay at this beautiful caravan that once again did not disappoint. Lovely, comfortable, homely caravan in the most peaceful spot on a great site. We can not get enough of the amazing views of the sea, right outside the caravan. Sitting out on the balcony is one of our most favourite things to do here, with also the quick walk to the beach to paddle in the sea and make sandcastles with the children. Our children absolutely loved staying here again withe plenty to do on the site and wonderful surrounding places to visit. Lots of lovely personal touches in the caravan that make it feel very welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Booked a little break at Linda's caravan on Airbnb. Kids absolutely loved the caravan. Linda was very responsive and helpful when needed. The weekend went far too quickly. Will 100% book again and would recommend to anyone.

Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Absolutely gorgeous caravan . The lock box for the key isn't the easiest place to access if you have trouble bending or if the ground is wet This caravan is beautiful, fantastic location, parking space and its at the quieter end of the park. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Christopher, he is a fantastic host and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Christopher

We were a small group of 3 golfers and very much enjoyed our stay at Bens place. It is ideally located in the centre of Seahouses and just a very short walk to the harbour. The house is a very good sized and each of the 4 bedrooms are a decent size with quality furnishings and very comfy beds. The open plan kitchen/diner/lounge is a very sociable space for a good gathering. We played 3 local courses each of which had fantastic coastal views. The 1 x free parking space outside the house is very convenient too. All in all, loved it and I'm sure we will be back in the future.

Sophie communicated very well. Location is excellent with easy access to other beaches and fishing villages. Great view through the lounge window direct to the beach. Felt very homely. First time using Airbnb and now convinced.

An absolute gem of a find. Beautifully decorated property, bigger than expected. Immaculately clean, everything you might need is provided - plenty of towels, washing machine, TVs in every room, WIFI, private parking or plenty of spaces on the road right outside. Hosts were super quick to sort a heating issue, literally called round within ten minutes of me contacting them. Superb little extras that we won’t forget, two Easter eggs for two children, chocs for the adults, the most delicious cream cake I have ever tasted and many other extras. Literally couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you and we will definitely be back :-)

We have just had a wonderful short break at Mike's caravan. It was home from home, very clean, well equipped and located right by the beach and onsite facilities. The location is perfect for touring Northumberland. We highly recommend and hope to return again soon. Thank you

Lovely New Year spent at Zoe's place. The cottage is ideally located, Amble and surrounding area is gorgeous, lots to do and lovely walks with the dog, great restaurants (seafood a specialty) and shops all walk-able distance (inc the beach). The cottage was bigger than expected, warm and stylishly decorated, Zoe was a great host and we hope to be back again this year. Thanks

Had a lovely relaxing stay. Accommodation very clean, modern and comfortable. Site nice and quiet, with sea views and few mins walk to beach and local shops, cafes, eateries. Would visit again, esp as dog friendly.

This place definitely has the wow factor!!! Views are amazing and the apartment is extremely spacious and very well presented. It’s not perfect but it’s very very close.
