Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

We loved our visit to Michael’s place. He was kind to accept a last minute reservation when we had issues with a previously booked spot. The location was perfect for exploring Corebridge, Hadrian’s Wall, and the beautiful countryside.

The Blacksmiths cottage is fitted out to a high standard. Great quality kitchen, stylish bathroom with a lovely rain shower and spacious lounge and dining area. The view from the lounge is amazing and it is so peaceful! It was an absolute delight in the evening to watch and hear the swallows swooping and diving. The overall setting is fantastic - on a remote farm surrounded by beautiful views. It's a commitment getting to and from the farm down well pot holed narrow country lanes, but it's worth it. It just meant that once we were back from a day out, we were in for the evening! We didn't get to use the hot tub, mainly due to the weather, but it would be super to use that on a warm summer evening with that magnificent view. Philippa was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here.

Wow what a location and property! We were so excited to arrive and were overjoyed when our high expectations were exceeded! This really is a spot of magic, the views, scenery and local walks are unbeatable and the cottage is truly beautiful inside, with everything you would need for a luxury relaxing stay. We have already talked of when to return. Sunrises from the back garden were spectacular.

Great location. A really cosy country retreat. Very well appointed kitchen...equipped for real cooking! Very responsive hosts before & during our stay. Lots of helpful pre-visit information supplied, especially good places to eat like the Fish Shack at Amble & The Angler's Arms in Weldon - both dog and dog owner friendly!

I can’t rate this cottage highly enough. It was a joy to stay. Lovely to arrive and not be met with a list of Dont’s, but instead a welcome basket with wine, tea, milk and biscuits. The whole aesthetic is beautiful and Emma has left a book with very well thought out recommendations. Would love to go back to this wonderful part of the country.

If you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay, this is it! The cottage is in a fabulous location, with a sea view and plenty of space to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather, but if it's not so good there is a cosy sitting area inside. The beds are also really comfortable. All in all, definitely to be recommended.

The barn was beautiful and full of little touches. Pam was an excellent host and was very friendly. She even baked us shortbread whilst we were there! We loved the peace and quiet yet we could get to Alnwick within 10 minutes. A fantastic break. Pam has put together a folder with recommendations for food and drink and this was especially useful. Would love to stay again.

I stayed at the Lodge with my adult daughter for four days. We wanted a base close to the Cheviots to spend a few days exploring and walking in one of the few hilly areas of the UK we did not know. And that's precisely what the Lodge gave us: easy access to the hills from the west (via Town Yetholm), east (via Wooler) or north (via Hethpool). We ate in every evening: meals were easy to prepare in the well appointed kitchen, and it being June we were able to eat at the table outside until quite late, enjoying the absolutely glorious view of the hills nearby and on the opposite side of the valley. Although the Lodge is situated right beside a road T-junction, the traffic was so light we were hardly aware of it. Cattle lowing in the distance and a pack of hounds being exercised in the morning are the sounds we will remember most. To conclude: clean, quiet, well equipped and, for us, wonderfully situated. I could not recommend the Lodge too highly to a small party wanting a restful break.

Absolutly stunning lodge, the pics are amazing but its even better in person. Light, airy, plenty of space and amazing location on a lake, no others around except the resident geese and goslings. Close enough to many attractions but nice to come back to a little haven. The local village has a shop and pub, never made it to the pub but it looked lovely. Would love to return to otters cove

This property was booked for my wife's 60th birthday and our family. The house is beautifully furnished with new bathrooms and kitchen. It has a large private garden and games room which is a great addition. We were very lucky with the weather during our week stay and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Lynne was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations prior to our stay and with advise during our stay. The welcome pack was very comprehensive. A truly amazing property.

This house is perfect for a group of friends or 2 families. The house was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a home away from home holiday. The hot tub and table tennis are a great bonus. Beadnell is the perfect location for relaxing, beach and water sports, good pubs and lovely walks.

The accommodation was even better than we could have imagined. Very well designed with everything you could need. The level of detail was amazing with some lovely touches. We felt really relaxed and at home during our stay. Location is perfect as it’s just off the main road but still very peaceful. Easy and quick drive to all the best parts of this amazing region. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a home with great style.

A beautiful setting in a quiet cul-de-sac with lovely views over fields of sheep. The house was well equipped and the space was very well used. Large kitchen had everything we needed and the living dining room was spacious, light and had beautiful views. Lots of space available for hanging up coats etc and there was a larder with an extra fridge freezer so there was space for all our food. Rob was very responsive and proactively contacted us to see if we had checked in ok and to see how we were getting on mid week which was a nice touch. The only improvement I would make would be the additional of blinds/curtains on the lower floor and improved black out curtains in the bedrooms - we visited in mid summer and it was very light very early through the thin curtains. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again!
