A wonderful place, clean, well equipped, friendly, and located in a great neighborhood. We will return the next time we go to Chicago!

Visually unique environment. I like the eclectic design. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Very quiet. I never felt like I needed to call Linda for anything. She was thorough with instructions via messages and signs left around the Inn. I appreciated that the continental food items were available throughout the day. Nice to grab coffee or and a snack when I needed it. Would definitely book again!

Rick’s place was great. Everything matched the photos. Location was great. Easy access to transportation if needed. Concierge was very helpful and friendly as well. Would stay here over and over again

This place was perfect for a week in Chicago with family! The space was as described, beautiful and sparkling clean, and communication with the host/staff was quick and easy. Having a 24-hour concierge and sundries for sale in the lobby was fantastic for any questions or snack/drink needs. And the Andersonville neighborhood is such a fun place to explore, with lots of great restaurants and shops!

Best stay we have had in Chicago. Loved the rooftop and having a garage to park in. The place was spacious and the beds were comfortable ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay in a castle! Complimentary breakfast brought to our room was great. I’m sure their other meals are fantastic, too.

Far from the center, it is 40 minutes away. If you are a tourist and you are going to Chicago for the first time, you will spend more money on Uber, 79 USD per trip.

The hotel was lovely. Peaceful and quiet. The free breakfast was great, included hot food like eggs and sausage, a waffle maker, fruits, yogurt, etc. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that it took about 20 minutes to get checked in. The clerk couldn’t find my reservation, and after awhile of trying, she contacted her manager who worked some sort of magic then was able to find me. The clerk was not super pleasant about it and acted like it was my fault, and did not apologize for the trouble and how long it took.

The location is amazing! Extremely walkable to the lake & the river. So many places to eat & shop nearby. This room is a Superior king room, which isn’t noted in the listing, so look it up on their website; where you may even get a better rate and choose the type of room you’d prefer. It is quite small @337sq ft, even for just 2 people, but a nice room nonetheless. There is no dresser, just a closet with 2 smaller drawers, which worked ok for us. Full size lighted mirror, a shower & soaking tub (!!!) The pillows were all down feather or like.They did have water stations on 3 of the floors to fill your bottles, a great feature. The rooftop bar had delicious tapas and craft cocktails and a beautiful view of the city and lake. Paid $386 a night at the end of August & Labor Day wknd. The staff were extremely friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much! Would def stay again, but would book through Viceroy directly and get a lake view room that is larger.

I arrived earlier than my booking time and they were available to get me a room. It was right across the street from the event I was going to as well.

It was just a one night stay, but the location was perfect to what we wanted to do so no complaints here

Rooms were nice, TV worked, beds were just as in picture. The only thing was there was no rooftop access from the elevators or stairs as it was listed to be available. So I'm not sure if it's only accessible from the main lobby room or just not available anymore.

The suites are beautiful and I felt at home but the area isn’t the safest. That being said I believe Michigan City, Indiana is going through a transition and will recover from the past. Even though I believe the area is a little sketchy, I would stay there again because of the owners and their dedication to make it a safe place to stay.

We had a great stay in Plainfield! The space was very clean, homey and exactly what we needed for a one night stay. When we arrived Justin greeted us and was very friendly and made us feel welcome. There was additional information in the room which we found useful. We did appreciate the YouTubeTV available for us to use. The area is beautiful and felt very picturesque. We will be staying here again for our next Planfield visit!

A buddy and I were fishing Paw Paw lake and it was the perfect spot. The location couldn’t be better, it was two minutes from the boat launch. Thanks

I had a wonderful stay. So near to the beach and dining. The Casino is nearby, if you’re so inclined. Amtrak does run directly behind the hotel BUT DO NOT LET THAT DETER YOU! I think I noticed it only once the entire stay. It is thru in a matter of seconds. And never at night. I know it runs more but it wasn’t noticeable. It was a very peaceful stay. Check in was nearly “automatic” and Anna was very helpful had I had any questions. The suite was clean. Orderly. All areas were clean and without cobwebs or dust bunnies. It was chilly at night and the heat worked as expected. No road noise to speak of. And with the windows open, I could hear the water. I will be visiting again. Thank you!

I always liked Michigan, but this place specifically is so beautiful and welcoming! Lona is a great host and was very helpful. The walk to the lake is very peaceful, and I've never been anywhere like this in Michigan. The ground is flat, the trees and flowers are very green and so well-kept --just like the house!

Solid spot to stay. Definitely hotellish, I came during the off peak season and had a very good experience all around
