Barn accommodation in Norway

We had a great time when we stayed here during the Christmas market in Røros. Everything was super cosy and Lindsay was super helpfull. Also she was caring if we have everything. Nature is beautiful the house. 🙂

Wir waren als große Familie, also mit mehreren Kindern, Oma, Opa, Onkels und Tanten da. Die Zeit war wirklich wunderschön und Mette war immer da, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Die Gegend ist super schön und es gibt sehr viele Ausflugsziele. Der Blick aus den meisten Zimmern und von der Terrasse ist traumhaft! Das einzige kleine Manko war, dass der in der Beschreibung angepriesene Motor zum Boot nicht mehr verfügbar ist, das war etwas schade. Von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung, insbesondere für Familien mit Kindern, da es einen Spielplatz direkt am Haus gibt und ein Kinderbett für unser Kleinkind bereitgestellt wurde.

Nydelige omgivelser og veldig sjarmerende hus. Fin bålplass. Ikke langt til Lifjell for å stå på ski. Tilgjengelige akebrett og spark for lek rett utenfor. Imøtekommende verter :)

Koselig plass 5 min frå Ålgård med tre soverom. Verten serverte nydelig bybakt kringle ved ankomst. Anbefales!

Molt bona ubicació de la casa, molt tranquil i amb unes vistes molt boniques. També vam agraïr tenir més d’un lavabo per a 8 persones! Sens dubte tornariem a repetir

Very nice cosy stay in Geilo. The cabin has all you want, a great location and comfort. Bernard was a very nice host as well. Would definitely recommend to stay there.

Nice accommodation within driving distance of quite a few nice hikes. quiet area and a lovely place to spend a few nights at.

Quiet and peaceful surroundings. And a fantastic bed to lie in

We had a very nice stay. Due to the bad weather, we decided to spontaneously extend one night, which worked out great. The furnishings are very comfortable, the view is a dream and the tranquility is worth its weight in gold. The landlord also asked us if we needed additional heat - but we didn't miss anything. Thank you for this great accommodation.

The accommodation is really nice - a cozy and peaceful place. Good fishing opportunities and walking routes are important to us. Special thanks to the kind host family, with whom it is really nice to meet again. Help and guidance is always available when needed, as the host family lives in the same yard.

The apartment was great, totally our taste. Decorated with eye for detail. We also walked the 1.5 km up the hill at the back of the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and when we need to be in the area again for sure we will look if still available. regards Antoon

This has to be one of the best accommodations I've ever been. You'll need a car because it takes more than a hour from Tromsø. But out of the crowds it is very very peaceful and quite. Pack your foods, stay for some while with no plans. That's everything you need.

The cabin is located really well if you are looking for a nice and quiet stay. It’s super close to the slopes and extremely cozy to stay in. Mari and her father have been really accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. Can only recommend staying there ☺️

My son Alex was the actual guest and here is his commentary on his stay (since Airbnb doesn’t allow him to write a comment himself). Spoiler alert : it was a very good experience ! From Alex and Marilou « Our sincere thanks to Venise & Gaby for their warm welcome to this comfortable, carefully decorated tiny house, full of personality. 
The view over the fjord completes the magic already offered by the cabin. Moreover, we were able to enjoy the surrounding mountains and snow-covered forest during a wonderful walk. And Gaby offered to take us by car, giving us all the advice we needed. This is just one example of the many times they were there to help us make the most enjoyable experience possible. As an added bonus, we were able to taste their homemade beer, served with small snacks. It was perfect for a little Halloween movie night after the sauna !

Very nice ambiance. Unfortunately, we had no opportunity to visit the restaurant due to lack of time. Right next door, it has a 9 hole golf course.

Quiet, peaceful & secluded place to lower your heart rate. Cozy decorated, warm sofa nook in front of the fireplace, and otherwise equipped with what we needed for a cozy weekend. We had bad weather, so we chose not to explore the hiking opportunities very much.

Would recommend a stay here. Great retreat, very quiet and so good to be on the water. Layout of the house is great.

The Magrete barn is a wonder, beautiful decorated in an unbeatable location with stunning views and plenty of tranquility. She was always attentive to our requests or doubts. 100% recommended, we will definitely return.

Great accommodation close to Oslo airport. Ideal for arrival or departure. The hosts were very nice and communicated well.
