Beach house holiday rentals in Nosara

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

Our family had an awesome stay! The house is in a great location in Nosara, very easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Steve was a very helpful host, providing clear instructions and great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Casa Samara was described as family friendly, and it sure was! The kids *loved* the pool and we could walk right out the front gate to the beach. It was about a 25 minute walk (with kids) to downtown Samara. The hosts were so responsive when we extended our stay and needed some clean sheets. All of the rooms had fans and all of the beds had bug nets. 💜

Staying at Rancho De Linda was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush Costa Rican jungle on the beach, it offers the perfect blend of natural charm to fully immerse yourself in the local ecosystem. The property is surrounded by vibrant wildlife — from colorful frogs, friendly iguanas, beautiful butterfly’s, hermit crabs and chirping birds. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean are mesmerizing — making it a true ecological retreat. Douglas and Irena were delightful hosts. We enjoyed visits from their sweet pup Bambi and loved the availability of the housekeeper. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We loved our Yoga class Irena taught under the palapa and enjoyed the delicious cooking of two local chefs. We drove into Tamarindo for the day and visited the Diamanté Eco Adventure Park for a thrilling zip line. First of all, I would like to thank Rick: his house was clean, well equipped with a huge kitchen, wash machine and dryer, AC in all rooms and situated in a lovely garden with a nice pool. The communication with Rick always worked well and he was very responsive. Now to the downsides (which aren't Ricks fault and beyond his influence): we traveled almost all other parts of Costa Rica during the weeks before our stay in Guiones and where shocked by the price level (a pizza, some pasta and a bit of shrimps were more than USD 170 in a restaurant nearby), the dirt (along the road is a lot of trash which you won't find in the rest of the country) and the terrible smell in the village. And while the beach is nice, the rest of the area is really not worth a visit

Casa Adorada is a wonderful place to spend some time in Nosara. The home is new, clean, spectacularly located, and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend it.

This place and location was spectacular for our family for one week vacation. We were able to walk to the beaches, get good food, go shopping, and best of all, surfing! The community is very kind and friendly!

Adrianne’s house is a dream. The private path to the beach was so serene. The pool was a life saver on hot afternoons. Grace, the property manager, was AMAZING! She organized everything from transportation to dinner reservations, horseback riding, turtle nesting in Ostional, massages and more. She was always accessible too! She made our vacation seamless. Sunset dinner at Coyol is a must! We love Nosara and Adrianne’s beautiful house had the perfect accommodations for our 3 families!! Pura Vida!!

Loved having our own pool to lounge in and cool off during the day. It was clean and well maintained! The view was so beautiful!! I would stay here again!

We just spent a fantastic week at Villa Pochote and could not be happier with the space - it was perfect for our group with plenty of space and a large, open kitchen and dining area that opened to the pool where we spent our evenings. The home is beautiful, spotless, breezy and spacious and the kitchen has nice cookware, dishes and all the appliances needed for making meals and entertaining. The views of the ocean and jungle are great from all levels of the house and there is a nice grilling deck and gathering space on the top floor too. We saw lots of local wildlife up close (but not too close!) and the home has a private courtyard entry with an outdoor shower to go from the beach (a 5-10 minute walk away) straight to the pool. There is also a nice hotel just a short walk up the road with great sunset views of the river and coastline for evenings when you don't want to cook. The home surpassed our expectations and we are all looking forward to a return trip as soon as possible!

My wife and I LOVED this place! The house is so well designed and the outdoor space is beautiful. The place felt very secluded and private which we loved and the beach access was close enough that you could walk down the beach right into town. Olivia was a great host and her list of recommendations for restaurants and things to do was amazing. We even got to see a lot of wildlife when we were relaxing by the pool. Kitchen was fully equip and the outdoor cooking space is amazing. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in Nosara!

We stayed in three different Airbnbs while in Costa Rica for two weeks and this spot was hands down our favorite. It's nestled in a neighborhood just outside of town and is a lovely secluded getaway while still being near everything you'd like. We had an SUV as our rental, I do advise having a rental car or a UTV while you are here to get around. Blair has some fantastic recommendations for where to watch the sunset, dining, and things to do. He clearly knows the area like the back of his hand and wants to ensure that your stay is as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a trip to this area. Nosara is such a magical place and you will truly be blown away by the beauty of it all!

This was a great Airbnb. Probably one of the best I have stayed in. First, you are steps from the beach and you can walk over any time you like which our kids loved. The place was spotless and we had a maid come midway through our stay which was really nice. Sofia with Alba properties was amazing. She answered our questions and messages so quickly anytime we needed something! Overall a wonderful stay!

Casa Manana was a perfect for our group and could have comfortably fit many more. Such a comfortable house with great amenities. They even had some fruit, lizano, coffee, wine and chocolates waiting for us went we arrived. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted and the pool and outdoor space was gorgeous. Was a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach along the main road depending on how fast you walk and maybe another 5- 10 minutes to the very north end of playa guiones if you take the beach trail. We really liked the slightly more low key and local vibe of playa pelada. Still with a fairly quick walk, drive or Tuktuk to playa guiones for beginner surf or to check out some shops and other restaurants, though Pelada has many great food options as well. Pulpo and Sunset cafe were very close by and both exceptional. La cuchara de dona emi was great spot in town for Casados. Would absolutely stay here again! Our 5th time to Costa Rica and I think we found our new favorite area!

Amazing place in Nosara; spacious, modern, open concept, looks right out onto pool area. Well-maintained lawn that’s great for kids! Would be best utilized by renting both units with another friend or family group as the other unit directly faces it across the pool.

Great place for a group to hang out. The house was clean, comfortable, and the pool was awesome. Mihail was super responsive to our many questions. We felt really tended to and cared for. Would definitely stay here again.

Nos encantamos Casa Sea Breeze! It exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful time spent in Sámara! Bathroom set up was great for a family beach trip, interior space was lovely and the outdoor space was incredible and very well maintained! The outdoor shower was great after time spent at the beach. Beds were very comfy, AC in the bedrooms made for a great night’s rest and the decor was lovely too. Oscar and his mom were wonderful hosts, truly welcoming and so very helpful. Location on the beach was stunning and perfect, along with the close proximity to town. Truly one of the best homes we’ve vacationed in, and we’re hopeful to return one day!

This place is awesome. Right on the beach. Make breakfast while seeing and hearing the ocean. Kitchen stocked to cook at home if you want. Air conditions keeps it perfectly cool. 10 minute walk to town. On site at the property was Maggie who could not have been more helpful and informative. She gave us the best info for eating and surfing. A very special person. We will definitely be back.

We and our kids (13, 10, 6) took a last minute trip for Spring Break. The house and pool are incredible. The view is amazing. The house is comfortable, private, safe, and well stocked. The host and her team (shout out to Johanna, Elena, and Wagner) were incredible helpful and gracious. They helped to arrange activities, and on of the best meals we had our whole trip was prepared by Wagner and his wife. We recommend and hope to be back soon!

Wir haben uns in der schönen casita von cally und scott sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf der Terrasse mit dem pool gegenüber vom Regenwald und trotzdem central in Samara und nicht weit vom Strand konnte man sich wunderbar erholen. Und den brüllaffen und Vögeln zuhören. Sogar ein Kolibri kam zum Grundstück. Cally und scott waren super erreichbar. Ihre Erklärungen bezüglich der Schlösser etc. waren einfach und gut. Insgesamt fanden wir für unseren Geschmack ein paar zu viele Regeln, aber dadurch war auch alles klar. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll, was wir liebten.

We had a wonderful 10 days here! The house exceeded our expectations and was better than it had seemed in the photos. Beautifully laid out and appointed, comfortable and practical, we had everything that we needed. Location was excellent!! Very short and easy walk to the beach and town/restaurants/shopping. I will say, that I was happy to have a vehicle as it was very hot in May. For groceries we went to Nosara, and the car made it easy. To get to the main street and shops in Playa Guiones, we found it easiest (and coolest) to walk along the beach and then duck up the street from the lifeguard tower. We were there to surf with the kids and the beach did not disappoint. Waves were constant, the water warm, and the beach fantastic for walking. Most afternoons were spent in the pool watching the 'monkey show', a group of monkeys that came to feast in the mango tree.

Had such a great experience and will definitely be back!! The house is in the absolute perfect location. Walkable to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. It also was very clean and felt safe!

This home is beautiful and is in a great location. It is close to both the beach and many restaurants. The property afforded our group privacy as we enjoyed the outside space. The private pool was perfect. Paulo was a gracious host who was responsive to anything that we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and most definitely would love to come back.

10/10 recommend! This place is pure magic! Thoughtfully built and perfectly set up for an incredible stay. The gym is fantastic to workout with howler monkeys and animals all around. Strong consistent WiFi for international work calls. Good hot water with strong water pressure. And super clean and bug free! Very rare in Costa Rica! Can’t say enough good about this place and Tabata is a wonderful host that was always ready to help answer any questions!
