Beach house holiday rentals in Guanacaste Province

Words cannot describe Gabby’s house, it was AMAZING! For prior vacations, we have stayed in houses in Playa Carrillo, Samara, and Quepos and Casa Del Sol by-far tops ALL of those houses. From the million dollar view, to the quality of the build/house, to the AWESOME DECOR, to the on-site hosts (Henry and Zeidy), ALL of it was top notch! When you’re in the backyard/in the pool, of course you feel like you’re at the beach, but that continues inside with all of the homey beach house decor! And did I mention the AC??? Ice cold, perfect for coming in from a long day fishing or beach! Next mention is Henry and Zeidy, UNBELIEVABLY welcoming and attentive, yet they know how to respect privacy. If you’ve never stayed at a house with daily cleaning, it’s a GAME CHANGER. Any issue or request, taken care of immediately. And not to mention Zeidy’s cooking! We had 3 lunches and 2 dinners prepared by Zeidy, simply delicious! We are even talking about booking again during the dry season!

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

Our family of five (with three kids under four) had the most incredible month at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with a breathtakingly gorgeous beach just steps away. We felt completely safe the entire time, which was so important with little ones. The house itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful staff. Maureen, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful and kind, making everything seamless for us. And we can’t recommend Domingo the cook enough—her dinners were a highlight of our trip! We used her services every night, and every meal was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a stress-free, beautiful getaway with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

Casa Samara was described as family friendly, and it sure was! The kids *loved* the pool and we could walk right out the front gate to the beach. It was about a 25 minute walk (with kids) to downtown Samara. The hosts were so responsive when we extended our stay and needed some clean sheets. All of the rooms had fans and all of the beds had bug nets. 💜

as a lot of the reviews stated. the dogs can be a bit loud but not loud enough to not have a great time. the cats that hung out on the porch absolutely made the trip and I'm not even a real cat guy

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

We had a great stay and hope to go back. Here are a few of our highlights: - House was perfect for a week long vacation in Avellanas for the 4 of us (parents plus two teenage sons). The kitchen was well stocked, the AC kept things cool at night, and we loved having AM coffee on the patio listening to birds and monkeys. - We very heavily used the community pool. We were the only ones staying in our group of homes around the pool so we had it to ourselves each day. It was cleaned daily. - It was a long walk to the beach (20min) so we often drove to the maintained parking lot by Lola's and paid the modest $4. (The fee helps maintain the beach access so it seems well-worth paying each day.) Because it was still walkable, we'd often walk home, leaving the kids with the car to finish up a surf session... it was nice to have that flexibility. - The gated community with guards felt very secure, but the overall area also felt very safe for our 5-7 mile runs, evening strolls, and more!

We loved our stay in Playas del Coco! The place is beautiful and we loved the artistic touches. The pool felt great after hanging at the beach and we enjoyed exploring nearby beaches Ocotal and Hermosa. We appreciated all the food recommendations and our baby loved the toy cabinet. :) Thank you for a great stay!

Very cool place. Pool was awesome and so were wildlife and views. Behind big gate and the AC was great all over the house. Washer and dryer nice touch. Saw cows horses birds and monkeys.

WONDERFUL owners and home! This was a great spot in a safe place. Just minutes away from Playa Conchal and Playa Flamingo. The communication was A+++ and so was their home. Google maps got a little confused about the address so it took a few extra minutes but the owner helped immediately. It is a beautiful place and completely fenced/gated. Highly recommend!

The house was absolutely amazing! My two boys are 10 and 7 and they lived in that pool. The view was breathtaking! It was incredible to wake up to every morning. The grocery store is a 2 minute drive so getting supplies is super easy. My kids took surfing lessons at the beach 5 minutes away and the restaurants on the beach were awesome. The housekeeper, Cindy, kept the place spotless. This house was the highlight of our trip!!

This place was pure magic. Close to playa pelada and some great restaurants and the little bodega store. Our two families loved the separate living spaces that were just interactive enough. The concierge service was a great help in getting local recommendations and booking excursions. Would definitely recommend.

We recently stayed at this amazing and had a truly wonderful experience. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The pool was crystal clear and perfect for lounging, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. One of the standout parts of our stay was how responsive and helpful our host, Evelyn, was. She made everything easy and stress-free, from check-in to answering questions during our stay. Her attentiveness added a special touch. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet everything was within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and the beach. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway where you can truly unplug and unwind. Each morning, we woke up to the unique sound of howler monkeys in the distance. While we didn’t see them on the property, hearing them added a special, natural vibe to the trip. If you’re planning a visit, we recommend bringing bug spray, get used to seeing bugs and lizards.

I booked this for my friends bachelorette and it was fantastic. Every question we had was answered right away. They even helped us book activities while we were there. It was a 10/10 experience and would definitely stay again :)

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive. McKenzie’s place was amazing! It looks exactly as it does in the pictures. It’s a beautiful place in an extremely beautiful location. The private pool and patio were so nice to have. We also accessed the resort beach club, which was a five minute walk away. The hotel also coordinated a zipline adventure and we surfed and did a snorkeling trip while there also. The scarlet macaws were also gorgeous and came by numerous times a day. McKenzie was so helpful with any questions we had. She was extremely proactive in resolving one issue that came up very quickly and way beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend this villa.

Loved this place soooo much !! Great service best hosts ever, they helped me out with so much like setting up rides and getting atvs rented out & all the best locations around. The house has the most insane view ever sooo amazing, has such a cute small town everyone around is so nice. The house is just sooo cool I personally really really loved it best place I’ve been yet!! It was definitely an experience in the jungle but we loved every second being here just going with the flow :) felt very safe even as, two females traveling. The pool was worth it all 👌
