Cabin holiday rentals in Nottinghamshire

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Birdholme, so much so, that I began plotting to return as soon as we had arrived! The lodge is stunning and is set amongst beautiful grounds, which have even thoughtfully been pruned to encourage lots of little walkways through the trees and grounds which was such a special touch. The hot tub was great and Holly had even left us a surprise bottle of bubbles in the fridge! Really can’t fault it and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much Holly for a fabulous little break <3

The cottage was amazing as well as the hot tub!! They provided towels, and body wash which was great! They also provided coffee and tea facilities, with an added brucey bonus of a bottle of wine. Which was a great touch. We would definitely recommend 👌

Great host and great place in a fantastic location.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. Everything was spotless, all clean and cozy, nice views around the woods. Check-in ok and location easy to find. 100% recommend this place for a weekend away from the city, relax and spend great time with friends/family. Will come back for sure! :)

Had a two night break at fountain lodge wish we had booked 4 nights. Beautiful lodge with great amenities. It was spotlessly clean and the private fishing was absolutely perfect. Can’t recommend more it’s a fabulous spot and we will be back.

Helen was a great host. Our holiday abroad was cancelled but we still wanted to do something away and we are so glad we chose to come here. Very easy check in, and she kept us updated with flooding around the area and kept our mind at ease. The location is beautiful, the pod is very cozy and the hot tub was wonderful. The area it’s in is nice and there’s some lovely walks along the river. Definitely recommend!

great value, campsite is lovely. house is as described in ad and by other reviewers. don't expect a beautiful flat, but for the cost it worked great for our family of four

Booked for a 2 night stay and was perfect for a very relaxing time. Very easy to find in a beautiful little village. The instructions for getting in was perfect and great parking close to the lodge. The lodge was very clean and simple inside perfect for what we wanted. lots of room inside for the two of us and a Newfoundland dog and must say he really enjoyed his stay here also. The lodge is in the grounds of the Greenman pub this is a real bonus as the pub is a beautiful English pub with fantastic food and staff who made us feel really welcome it really is worth eating here and having a chat with the locals just how a pub should be good beer great food and lovely people thank you. 1 great thing about staying here is you step out straight into the countryside with gorgeous walks which me and the dog enjoyed. Wonderful setting with horses visible from inside the cabins. The cabins themselves are the best we've stayed in with all the amenities. Not much dealing with the staff but they were incredibly responsive to our arrival and helped us settle quickly. 10/10

Lovely pod and very clean and great facilities. The picnic table by the pod and BBQ were great and the outside games were a nice addition. There were 4 of us staying in the pod, 2 adults and 2 children and had enough space. The sofa bed is smaller than a double size so the kids were fighting over the space but Nigel let us borrow a blow up single air bed and problem solved. There was still enough space to walk between this and the sofa bed when made up. The pod is very close to the train track and level crossing and trains do seem to sound their horns every time they approach the crossing so if you're a light sleeper and looking to go to bed before the trains stop running, ear plugs could be useful. This didn't ruin our enjoyment of the stay though.

The place is a lot bigger than on the photos. The secluded garden was brilliant for my dog and the big field opposite was an added bonus to walk him. It is very peaceful and I would definitely book it again. Gabby was very quick in replying, when we got lost and needed fire-lighters for the log burner.

No better way to celebrate our moms 76th birthday weekend. Beautiful to wake up to such a beautiful location, made all the better that the sun was actually shining! The listing location was exactly how described, and it was clean, and comfortable. Julian was responsive and very helpful with all of our enquiries. Already looking to book again later in the year. We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cabin! Julian was clear with his instructions and check in was easy breezy! I will say this - the property is not completely secure for dogs to run around (I thought it would be) so you need to keep an eye on them at all times. Other than that, it was a beautiful spot and a very sweet little cabin.

Emyr is fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. The whole area is so beautiful with lovely walks around the corner of Emyr's guesthouse. the caravan was spotless clean and equipped in everything u need and even more e.g. toiletries, towels and basic food basket on arrival. Beds were comfortable and the electric radiators helped to keep warm as the British weather can surprise. we feel very safe and our dog love the fields. the caravans are set up in good distance to each other so privacy is guaranteed. TV and WiFi was very useful when relaxing after miles long walk in the forests.

This place was a great find, peaceful area but with a pub on site for food and drinks. The accommodation was perfect, two bedrooms, two full shower rooms, lovely kitchen area and living/dining space. Ideal for 4 adults and our 2 dogs. It was better than we expected and would happily come back and recommend to others. Such a lovely part of Lincoln.

Kay is a wonderful host with great communication throughout our booking.. very welcoming and would highly recommend her place to stay.. definitely be coming back in the future when in the area.

Very clean and nice lodge. the listing does not mention this is inside a Gulliver's Valley which was a bit of surprise to me and my band whilst we're on tour. it was a fun stay but it was tricky for us as we couldn't park our van anywhere near the lodge.

We had a perfect stay at Stonelake Lodge this weekend! The scenery is beautiful and peaceful. The hosts go above and beyond to help you relax and even provided extra touches like marshmallows and fairy lights. I would highly recommend this stay and cannot wait to visit again! Thank you James for being so responsive to our needs and so warm and welcoming! Such a beautiful pace with excellent facilities.

We loved our stay at the eco-lodge. It was very peaceful, in beautiful surroundings with walks from the doorstep. The Lodge had everything needed for a comfortable stay, especially all the different outdoor spaces and we had beautiful weather to enjoy them. It was lovely to receive a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits! The local pub, The Bluebell Inn, is just 15 mins walk away in the pretty village of Lound. Retford is very close by for shopping. Richard was very helpful and quick to respond to all our messages. Thank you for a wonderful few days. We hope to visit again!

Set in a perfect location, surrounded with fields. So quiet, private and peaceful. Lake is larger than we thought but very well maintained. Fishing was very quiet which was probably down to time of year. Had 5 rods in but only caught 3 fish in the 4 days but that just just how it goes sometimes with fishing. But definitely had a lovely stay, lodge was immaculate and had everything you needed and felt so homely. We will definitely be coming back again hopefully when the fish are more active 😁

Helen was a great host - very welcoming and showed us round then left us to it. There was an offer to join the hosts and other guests for a drink which was nice. The pod itself was spotless, private and much more spacious than we thought. Access to wifi and a Netflix account was an added bonus !
