Unfortunately, Nicola was not on site during our stay, but thanks to her courteous, clear and friendly communication, everything went smoothly at check-in and check-out. The accommodation seems to be the chic renovated part of a former barn, with its own terrace and separate entrance door. On top of that, lovingly furnished and idyllically located at the foot of the hill of Chateauneuf. A real insider tip!

Cycling the Nivernais in 35*C flexibility in arrival times, the cool relaxing atmosphere, we really could not have spent the night in a more welcoming, genuine provincial country home. The grandeur of its history seeps from every stone.

The cottage is very atmospheric with its historic natural stone floor, natural stone staircase, ceiling beams, etc., a journey through time, yet at the same time with extremely tasteful current furniture and equipment ripe for "beautiful living". Details such as the kitchen equipment - cookware and sharp knives in good quality - prevent typical travel situations from arising in the first place. Naomi is helpful and communicative, as an English native speaker also for international audiences who have difficulty with French. Not only we, but also our two dogs felt very comfortable.

We had a great stay at Philippe and Jennifer's. They are very kind, discreet and attentive hosts. We had a great welcome from Philippe, with gourmet welcome gifts. The house is cozy, tastefully decorated and has everything you need and more. The bedding is of good quality. We took advantage of the huge garden to "laze around" and rest. And discover the region, the cottage being well located. We have access to a wealth of documentation, so we don't miss anything essential. . Thank you Philippe and Jennifer and good luck.

We felt very comfortable and welcome here with our 11-year-old son and our Labrador. We all enjoyed the large garden and especially the tranquility to slow down. The house offers everything you need for uncomplicated living and the kitchen also has everything you need. It would be advisable to bring a few groceries with you for the day of arrival and for the first breakfast, because the nearest supermarket is about 12-17 km away. Spices, vinegar and oil, as well as coffee, tea and sugar are available. Toilet paper, cleaning products, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, hand dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent are available. Dominique speaks excellent German and was super friendly. Accommodation was amazing. Right in the middle of wineries. Loved the outlook and surrounding areas. Sarah and her son joined us for a glass of their wine, and it was great to find out more about the area and their winery.

Thank you Elodie for this warm welcome. I took advantage of the accommodation on the occasion of the Bar-sur-Aube sports cycling. The accommodation was perfect and in impeccable condition and I was able to leave early without disturbing my hosts. The place is very quiet and it's easy to park. Lots of restaurants and bars a few steps away from the noise. I recommend it!

We are cycle tourers and usually camp However, I had a bycycle crash and injured my leg so could no longer camp We cycled 73kilometres on the hottest day When we arrived Chantel was there re to greet us with open arms like a long lost friend she had alsofilled the fridge with cold drinks for us and also left sweet treats When she saw my leg injury she told us her husbandwho is a private nurse and he would check my wound when he returned from work He found infection and dressed the wound for me The following day Chantel drove me for a doctors consultation alsoacting as my translator as I am English and virtually no understanding of French Medicine was prescribed and she drove me back to the accommodation and later came with more dressings and re dressed my wound We checked out today and she extended my check out time by hours so that I could rest as much as possible Chantel is the most exceptional host that I have met And her kindness will stay with me for ever

Laurine greeted us very kindly in person. We were able to park the bikes in the garden shed. The apartment was big enough. Only the sink was very small, but it was sufficient for brushing teeth. We were able to use the seat with morning sun almost every day for breakfast. The bike path along the "Canal de Bourgogne" could be reached in a few minutes. Monika and Thomas
