Monthly Rentals in Oak Grove

We had a great stay in Durham. Karla's place is comfortable and stylish. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and lovely. An added bonus is the back deck. The yard backs up to a wooded area so it is peaceful and private - a great place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The location may not be for everyone - everything is a bit of a drive away - but it was perfect for us as it's near family and easy to access both Durham and Raleigh. Highly recommend.

This space was the perfect escape. I came here for a solo writer’s retreat and left feeling inspired, grounded, and creatively recharged. The environment was peaceful, clean, and exactly as described. It gave me the clarity I needed to focus and reflect. The host was kind and communicative, making everything smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for a quiet, calming place to reset or create, I highly recommend it. I’ll definitely be back!

This was my second stay at The Peaceful Getaway. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. The weather was perfect for relaxing outside on the screened-in porch and back deck. The wooded, serene property was convenient to every place we wanted to visit, but tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. Karen was a friendly and welcoming host. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.
