Bungalow holiday rentals in Oak Island

For my first time renting an Airbnb it was overall a great experience, and filled with lots of memories because of this place (6 people in total) plenty of room for all of us the kitchen table is big which is really nice and the outdoor deck is what really sold us, enough outside seating as well. The hot tub was great. The neighborhood was very relaxed and quiet.

Perfect location and clean space! Just across from beach access and within walking distance to grab something to eat! Really had a relaxing weekend and will be back! 🏖️

We absolutely loved this bungalow!! So close to the beach as well as Carolina beach boardwalk. Such a comfy place to come crash and relax after beach day! Very clean and had everything we needed.

Delaney’s place will now be out go to place for our yearly trip to Carolina Beach. The place is situated in an adorable beach cottage neighborhood that is walkable to a lot of restaurants, shops, and the beach. The place was perfect for a couple with more than enough space, a really cute layout, and an outdoor patio which made the space feel even larger. Delaney was so great with communicating with us and being so accommodating! Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had! 10/10 experience.

The house has plenty of room for a large family. My son and his family along with myself enjoyed our 3 days relaxing at the house and at the beach. We will definitely use this house again.

It’s a good fit for two adults and a little baby or toddler with you! Had a blast! Would recommend!

We were looking for a place close to the beach, and this house certainly fits that description. It was easy to find and it only took us a couple minutes to walk to the beach! We wish our schedule would have allowed us to stay longer!

Excellent location! 2 min from the ocean and restaurants. House felt very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Family of four two young kids , we found the place very accommodating, air conditioners kept us comfortable, decent internet connection. Walk to the beach is 4 blocks (20 minute walk) away, with a busy three lane road that was tricky to cross, most time you are the mercy of a good samaritan driver who stops traffic so you can cross. No pedestrian crossing in the area hence the challenge. We only had to deal with this two or three times a day when going back and forth to the beach with all our beach gear and the kids. That was the only challenge thing. You could drive to the beach instead but parking cost is steep at oak Island, by car is a 3-5 min drive. Caroline the host was always super responsive and we found the place cozy and accomodating.

We had an amazing visit with easy walk to the beach. Home is nice and clean. Host is very responsive even though we had no reason to reach out she was available as needed. Well worth the price that was extremely reasonable!

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our time at Jamie’s place. The place was very clean and cozy. I would come back here again when the beaches open.

This is a great little cottage. We truly enjoyed our time there. Just as described. Wonderful location, beachy but not overcrowded. We loved walking our two fur babies to the 20th street beach access boardwalk, and to the canal park a bit down past the end of the road. The refrigerator was nice and cold with water/ice dispenser. Good water pressure in the large shower. We're already planning our next trip there, lol.

Janet & Christy were both very responsive and helpful. The house was as described and shown in the pictures. The beach chairs, towels, and cart were all very much appreciated and we were thrilled to not have to bring those in our vehicle. The back yard with grill patio, artificial turf, and a great outdoor shower were a huge plus. The screened porch was our favorite spot to relax after a day at the beach. The porch was large and had plenty of seating. This is a perfect house for two families vacationing together because each level has a kitchen and den.

Kolleen’s place was fantastic and exactly what we (2 adults, 2 kids ages 4,6 and 2 dogs) needed and beyond. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and the floor plan is open so there was plenty of room to set up our two crates for the dogs and walk and play. The decor feels like a modern bungalow and works very well with the interior. The bedrooms are situated perfectly with the master bedroom on the other side of the house from the two other bedrooms, where the kids were. Having a king in the master and not a queen bed is for some reason, hard to find. Even with a little rain, there was plenty to do inside the cozy cottage along with smart TVs that are actually large enough to sit back and watch. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances and TUPPERWARE, another big bonus for a rent imo. There is also already a few items and seasonings in the cabinets which was a bonus as we cooked all our meals. We will def be returning to Kolleens place!

We had a great stay at this Carolina Beach house! The place was very clean — you could actually smell how fresh it was the moment you walked in. The host was super responsive; we had an issue with the elevator when we arrived, and he answered right away to help us out. The elevator did get stuck a few times throughout our stay, but it was still a big help when carrying bags. You really can’t beat the location — the beach was literally just a 1–2 minute walk around the corner. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing beach trip!
