Remodeled Craftsman Flat in Rockridge

Step through the private entrance and into an open floor plan full of bright touches. Play ping pong in the garage, and, in the back yard, pick seasonal fruit and sit back and relax on sectional seating. We have a 2.5 year old. She sleeps through the night but you will occasionally hear her during the day. Also, my wife teaches an online yoga once a day every morning at 8am. We live upstairs so if you are a late and light sleeper we may not be a good fit. We do allow pets but they cannot be left alone if they bark. Also there is a $100 pet fee. It's about 1000 square feet. Concrete floors. Two couches create separate sitting areas. We have a tankless water system so there is no concern about running out of hot water. There is one tv in the bedroom and it has Apple TV. You can stream Netflix HBO go, and Prime. We share a heating system that you control. We put insulation in the walls and ceiling. This helps the space stay cool in the summer and warm in winter. It also helps mitigate sound transfer from above but you will still hear some sounds from above. If you are in the dining or living room, you will hear some foot steps, water running from above, i.e. shower, toilet, etc... Backyard. Ping pong table. 2 burner electric stove. Washer and Dryer. Mini fridge, Dishes, pots and pans, utensils, Kitchen sink, Filtered water, Coffee maker, toaster oven, and Microwave. Self check in. Lock box on gas meter on left side of house behind the gray hose. If you are arriving at night, you may need to use your flashlight on your phone to find and open the lock box. Upon confirmation I will send you the lock box code. If it's in season feel free to grab an apple or a plum off a tree. Self check in. The Lock box is on the PG&E meter on the left side of house behind the gray hose. Upon confirmation I will text you the code. Upon leaving, please put the key back in the box. My wife teaches yoga upstairs most Tuesday nights from 6-7:30 so you will hear a bit of noise during that time frame. Stock up on good things to eat at the farmers' market on Sunday mornings, only 2 blocks away from this Lower Rockridge property. Walk to great restaurants and retail shops located on nearby Telegraph Avenue and Piedmont Avenue. We are located 3 blocks from Rockridge BART. Plenty of street parking. You don’t need to worry about getting a ticket while parking on the street the house is located on. No permits or street cleaning. The ceiling is 7ft tall. Despite installing insulation between floors you will hear footsteps and voices from above. We do tend to go to sleep by about 10pm which is when you won't hear any sounds. Very quiet neighborhood. No street or traffic noise. The floors are concrete and despite adding many rugs there is a lot of bare concrete. So you may want to use the slippers we have provided or bring your favorite pair from home.

You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the coziness, and the location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Backyard is in progress, but there is an outdoor couch with a gas fire pit that can be used. Small pets allowed, $30/stay will be requested after check-in.
