Tiny house holiday rentals in Oakland

I was in-and-out, but it seemed like the kind of place I could linger for a spell. It’s a credit to the cottage and how much quality sleep I got that I have so little to report. Our hosts were very quick to respond and eminently reasonable. The location was also excellent. I’d certainly do it again.

We parked on a quiet street and walked up the driveway to the little studio. They had a coffee pot and hot water heater for tea. A little refrig and microwave. All we needed for a short stay and visit with our daughter and grandkids nearby. The owners were friendly and available if we had questions. I worried we would have trouble finding parking if we came back late, but it was never a problem. If you need a place in that area, it’s very pleasant!

This was an absolutely perfect place for my son and I to stay for the week. Close enough to the University and downtown that we could do and see everything and anything we wanted, but far enough to be, you know, clean and quiet. My son and I don't mind close-quarters and the garden gave us a peaceful place to read and finish my coffee. Tucker is a wonderful host and I thank her for sharing her beautiful part of Berkeley with us (sorry if I talked your ear off about every block on Telegraph). My son and I definitely had the experience we needed, and that home was at the center of it.

It was a great stay. They have a beautiful property and garden. Berkley is a great walking city. It was fun to explore. This was my 2nd time to Berkeley, and my wife and kid's first. She loved the city. Thanks for a great stay.

Very quaint and clean. Beautiful and inviting grounds. Close to amenities. Loved the opening windows on all four sides. Easy and convenient access. Loved the attached laundry facilities. HIGHLY recommend this little gem!

After staying at several Airbnbs over the past few weeks on a family road trip, we agreed that Dennis and Amy's thoughtful details made this the best airbnb experience of the trip. It was so clean, comfortable, and cozy. The garden created a peaceful ambiance, and our son had a blast sleeping in the loft. The great coffee, books, and games were also a big plus for us! We had a great stay at Ericka’s place! She was super communicative and flexible, letting us use the electric car charger on short notice and being understanding about a late arrival due to our flight delay and leaving the backyard lights on for us! The space was super clean, modern, and great amenities and small touches like great shampoo/conditioner, Nespresso pods, and a well-stocked fridge. The bed was super comfortable and my husband kept remarking about how well he slept! Very well-located and walkable to lots of things, plus easy to find street parking and felt like a very safe neighborhood. We’d definitely stay at Ericka’s place again!

this was such a luxurious, relaxing stay! sparkling clean, smelled fresh and looked like no one had ever stayed before me. there’s perfectly placed storage for everything, beautiful applinces, a dreamy shower and extra comfy + cozy furniture. you can open it up to feel even bigger with the patio, i enjoyed most of my meals and wine out there with a book. this space was a reprieve for me with enough nature to relax without committing to being outdoorsy. the property as a whole is beautiful and secluded while remaining conveniently located— i love having the combination of privacy but a nearby host as a solo traveler to feel comfortable. do yourself a favor and stay here with your partner, bestie or take a solo couple days off like i did. PS — any plant based friends MUST try Blossom & Root in downtown Danville, amazing food and drinks!

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Clean, cozy space in a beautiful area. Barak reached out multiple times to make sure I had everything I needed. No complaints at all!

Eugenia’s place and Eugenia and her husband are fantastic… One of the most comfortable organic cotton beds I’ve ever slept on, the most enchanting, beautiful property, and every appliance state of the art, efficient and intentional with the touch of love. Eugenia brought me teas, and various unconventional items I asked for. And the natural light and airflow were wonderful. And very healing and the most peaceful and healing neighborhood I’ve stayed at in the East Bay. For anyone looking for a healing retreat, Book this place as soon as possible

This place is magic! I was traveling alone and thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and gorgeous space. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen had everything I needed. Outdoor living room was magic - especially at night with the fairy lights. I’d absolutely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

This little house was perfect for our stay. It was so cute, spotless and clean, comfy bed, nice shower and the stove worked well. Melanie was super responsive. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. Would definitely stay again!

Camille’s retreat is a true oasis, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the day. Even when relaxing inside, you feel as if you are in the middle of the garden thanks to the large and plentiful windows surrounding you. The only sounds we heard were the birds, who were also enjoying garden. Camille is welcoming and kind and has truly created a serene and lovely space fo repose. I wanted to revisit old hiking trails from when I lived in Oakland and hiked in the hills twice a week. Enjoyed being close to the trails, enjoyed the space and loved the view. Will go back again!

An ideal relaxing place right by a beach oasis. Sigward was really thoughtful about our stay and overall experience. Will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone.

It was a really nice stay for me and my two dogs. Extremely nice family, and nice quiet & private place. It was unlike most Airbnb’s in that everything in the interior had a personal touch, it was fully stocked to cook, every possible need, both to cook inside & out. Most AirBnB’s have a bit of an “IKEA” feel, this felt like a true guest house, decorated, quality furniture, extremely clean. The drive in was beautiful, and the unit was great to stay in.

The hosts were super responsive and friendly, the place was as described, comfortable and clean, the location and proximity to great restaurants was terrific, and it was in a quiet location despite being close to busy intersections. Loved it here.

Description and the pictures were all accurate. Very easy walking distance to the BART station with easy access into SF. House is very private and in a nice area. Polina was extremely helpful with making recommendations for SF. Would certainly recommend.
