Beachfront holiday rental in Oakland County

Good place to stay for our annual show trip Into town! Close to where we needed to be and good places to eat! The lake is beautiful and helps to relax after a long day. We loved watching the wild life too!

Very nice home with a beautiful view. The house was clean, spacious, and had all necessities and amenities myself and my group could need. The location on the lake was perfect. No noise from the road or lake, it made the back deck a great place to relax during the day, or sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Chris was accommodating, attentive, responsive and a great host. I would absolutely stay here again.

You will love that it has a driveway, that you can pull in and leave without backing up. The home is bright and cheery. When you walk in, you see that it is just like the listing and better. The decor is soothing to the eyes throughout the home. I felt secure the very first night being there. We enjoyed their private patio with a firepit. It is definitely an all season home to enjoy all year. For young kids it has a bright, clean & spacious basement with pool table that converts to a ping pong table, air hockey table and an electric basket ball hoop arcade game for several to play. My stay here was for 4 weeks and I did not want to leave. I have put this Airbnb in my phone as a place that I want to comeback to again! It was a great experience overall. Stayed there for the Motor City Comicon and it was perfect. Close to stores and restaurants and only 10 minutes from the Con. Very peaceful place to stay and really nice neighborhood. Really good game/nerd shop down the road along the lake as well on the east side that was awesome to spend time around. Just a great place from start to finish that worked out great for 3 adults and a 7 year old boy. The ducks and geese were really nice to watch too.

House has a nice layout. Kitchen layout good (sometimes 4 of us were working on there) Good selection of tea. Bedding and storage great. Bathroom was serviceable with storage and cool towel warmer. Dishes for four people but lots (12?) of mugs and glasses. Nice, friendly neighbors (on both sides) have dogs which our dogs found entertaining :) our dogs also enjoyed the back yard (nice grass and squirrels), walks in the neighborhood as well as visits to dog park nearby. We were charmed by the swans and their offspring up the street. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. View across lake included a few houses but mostly wooded park. Peaceful. Would stay there again. Very convenient access to Kroger, Alex gourmet market, Home Depot, Stella’s (excellent restaurant) and charming Clarkston. I suggest bringing some throw blankets for the leather furniture.

Beautiful and peaceful property. The place was exactly as pictured and Lisa was a fantastic host - quick responses and friendly. We hit some traffic delays and she was flexible with our check in time. Highly recommend if you are going to a concert in Detroit, but don't want to stay in a busy city or expensive hotel.

Jamie's lakefront home was the most wonderful stay for my quaint bachelorette weekend. Jamie was incredibly helpful, kind, and went above and beyond in providing us with goodies as well as recommendations for local restaurants, etc. She even put up an adorable "girls weekend" sign on her mantel in the family room, which was so sweet! The house was clean and absolutely perfect for our needs. The water was hot, and the back porch area and hot tub were perfect! Also, Downtown Lake Orion was so cute and perfect with walkable coffee shops, boutique stores, and amazing spots for dinner and drinks! We couldn't recommend Jamie's home more. What an awesome weekend!

This was definitely home away from home! The area was very peaceful with beautiful views, we had everything we needed and is perfect if you have children! Plenty to keep the kiddos busy and having fun while you enjoy your time too. It was hard to leave! 10/10 recommend staying here with family!

Emily was an amazing host and extremely responsive whenever we had a question! We loved using the kayaks, bonfire pit, outdoor patio, and grill! It was a quintessential Michigan summer retreat! The lake was beautiful, peaceful and private. The canal was a short distance from the main lake and we kayaked out to it daily! There were tons of chairs, games and supplies in the garage! The house had everything we needed (updated kitchen and bathroom, washer/dryer, and AC)! We brought out newborn baby and there was plenty of room in the primary bedroom for a pack and play :) would recommend!

Matt was such an amazing host and his place was phenomenal! My friend and I were there for Memorial Day weekend. We got to kayak and have a nightly lakeside fire. He had the wood so well organized and had fire starter and matches for us. The views were incredible. He even accommodated a late check out for us!! So generous!! The shampoo/soap in the bathroom and the condiments in the fridge were added bonuses. I’d love to stay at his place again in the future, and he’ll be remembered as one of the best hosts I’ve ever had.
