We highly recommend the house! The communication with Kevin was very straightforward and friendly. The house was very clean and had a great atmosphere! We loved the tranquility and had everything we needed! The area is very well maintained, safe and everything is within easy reach.

Fantastic peaceful location. We stayed here for 2 nights to recharge whilst driving from the UK to Spain. It was exactly as described. The rooms were great, upstairs very comfortable and the views were lovely. Unrestricted hot tub time was a bonus considering we arrived at 11pm after a long day of driving. The pool was refreshing, not heated but it wasn’t needed as it was the perfect temperature. Very innovative. Only one remark: The key to the property was supposed to be an electric tag but they hadn’t told us this was not working and due to be fixed. Therefore when we went out for the day we had to leave the property unlocked. Obviously concerning but the location was very safe. I’m sure others would remove one star due to this, but there was so many positives about this place it would be unfair to lower the rating.

An old house of great character with comfortable sitting room and well-equipped but old style farm kitchen. The shaded terrace was excellent for meals outside and the patio in front of the living room’s French doors was great for breakfast in the sun. The setting and scenery are absolutely beautiful and it is possible to do great walks right from the door. Our dog, Jim, was in his element. The house is well located for numerous walks including the Gorges d’Heric and circuits above Olargues and Saint Pons de Thomiere. A car is essential. There is no local shopping but there are supermarkets in Bedarieux and Saint Pons, not too far away. We enjoyed the restaurant ‘le lézard bleu which is close by in Vieussan. Lydia is a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. An excellent stay we hope to return.

An unforgettable stay in an idyllic setting, surrounded by nature with a breathtaking view. The house is charming, perfectly maintained, and you feel good there right away. The welcome was exceptional: warm, attentive... I felt like I was being welcomed by friends. A big thank you for this beautiful break, I recommend it without hesitating! We'll be back!!!

Everything has already been said. The fisherman's house is located in an idyllic place and in an Olympian calm. We felt immediately comfortable and Denys' welcome was very warm and friendly. Certainly, some maintenance work is necessary, but as Denys says, various external elements mean that these are not always possible. But the feeling of living in harmony with nature makes you forget these small inconveniences.

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

I’ll start by saying that it will be very difficult to give a 5 star review again after spending a week at Le Mas de L’arboras. We came here for our wedding and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The home was clean, spacious, and even better than the photos. The hosts, Agathe & Alexandre, were incredibly friendly & helpful. We loved the private wine tour of Agathe’s winery, Enclos de la Croix. The dogs were a welcome addition, we even stole one for a night to stay with us because it was so cute. We’d also like to thank Alina, the housekeeper, for an amazing experience. She went above and beyond for us every single day. From rides into town, breakfasts with homemade jam, and lengthy wedding day errands, she was truly a godsend for our wedding day. We can’t wait to come back!

The accommodation is great! There is a small wow effect when the gate opens onto the property. Everything was very clean, we can see that the accommodation is very well maintained. Communication with the hosts is easy, they are very attentive and give very good advice in terms of activity or organization. The welcome was friendly, welcoming and easy. I 100% recommend this accommodation.

Super nice house and huge estate with a very large pool. Top equipment. Everything there, lots of details, everything works. The manager Cedric is very friendly and uncomplicated and very easy to reach, and unobtrusive. The house is perfectly equipped with all sorts of things. We have been there for the second time in two years, and we will definitely come back. Unconditional recommendation!

Gite des Reves was a fabuous find. It is in an idillic spot right on top of the Lot with dramatic views of the surrounding cliffs. Melody & David have created a small haven - so peaceful - we immediately fellt relaxed & at home as soon as we checked in. The owners are on sight but we stll felt we had privacy with our own terrace & use of the lovely salt water swimming pool. The hosts could not have been more friendly & welcoming & it was lovely chatting over the terrace gate - we had some great recommendations of things to do in the local area. Best of all our dog Mabel had a great time given the run of the grounds & she made great friends with Blanco - a real holiday romance! Thanks Melody & David for such a lovely week in the Lot!

House with a lot of character, very well equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Ideal place to spend a very good time relaxing. Many picturesque villages to visit in the surrounding area. Thank you to them, and I look forward to returning.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

We have just returned from a great 5 night break at Patrice's place (Magnolia de Bonheur). The location is really very Impressive indeed. The view from the pool deck is superb. The Gîte was exactly as described and very comfortable. The general property is very rustic and peaceful - totally relaxing and calm. Patrice is a very kind and considerate host and was always responsive and helpful when we had a couple of queries. Les Hauts de Jeanvert is definitely to be recommended. Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Thank you so much for welcoming us in to your special home Sophie and Daniel.

We had a pleasant stay. We were accompanied by our two little dogs, who also fully enjoyed the place. The place is simply magnificent: a true natural gem. We also enjoyed the quiet as well as the pool. An ideal setting to relax and have a good time. We will come back without hesitation!!

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

A nice and comfortable vacation home. Everything is present, kitchen very complete and comfortable and the beds are fantastic. The garden is large and has many spots in the sun and shade. There are many large trees that provide shade. The saltwater pool is great. Caroline is a very sweet and service-oriented woman who is very discreet. We have experienced 100% privacy, despite the fact that Caroline lives under the vacation home. Occasionally, the swimming pool had to be maintained, but that was always done when we were not present. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. We had a wonderful week in this house. You lack nothing, beautiful furniture and very tastefully decorated with attention to nice details. Also outside, ample and comfortable furniture and lighting for when it gets dark. The swimming pool is really fantastic, we have used it from early morning until late evening. The area is very quiet and idyllic. Limogne-en-Quercy is within cycling distance with a good supermarket, bakery and organic shop. Communication with Joffrey and Elsa is excellent, friendly and you get a quick response to questions.

The location is just magical! The cottage matches the photos, very well redone, bright, warm decor, superb terrace with plancha for lunch, at the edge of the Tarn with small dock, no vis-à-vis... In short, we had a great time, everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful two night stay at this beautiful cabin. The view is fantastic, even from the bed - which is huge and incredible comfortable. The cabin has everything you need and Tijs was super friendly and always helpful on everything. This is the perfect place if you seek solitude and peace.
