Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Ocean Beach, San Diego

We had a great weekend in San Diego staying here. The apartment is very clean, building is chic, and the bed was very comfortable. The area makes it central to walk / drive to lots of different neighborhoods in San Diego. The actual surrounding streets aren't very cute to walk on, but it is still a very convenient location and 20 minute walk to the Midway Museum / Broadway pier. The host was great and highly communicative. Overall a very positive experience.

Josh was an exceptional host that was flexible with my check-in and offering local recommendations/guidance to make my trip memorable . He was quick to respond when i had questions during my stay. The apt exceeded our expectations and the bldg amenities were great bonus. My wife and I are already working to plan to book again real soon….highly recommended this amazing rental!

The host and unit were awesome! Perfectly located in the Gaslamp District just one block away from Fifth street which was full of activities on the weekend. Easy walk to the waterfront, loved sitting on the balcony people watching, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The place was very spacious, well decorated, and had all the kitchen amenities. We cooked in 2 nights. CVS within 2 min walk and Ralph’s 7 min walk. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

I was here for a conference and this was a great location! Come out of the building, go one block over and across the pedestrian bridge and you’re right there, so that was great. The bed was super comfortable. It doesn’t have a coffee machine, which would have added a great benefit to the place! Also, there are several cabinets and items labeled “Owner Only” which was the first time I had see that in an Airbnb. Not a problem but good to know before you get there. Overall, it was a great location, good stay. Thank you!

Sirena hat uns eine wirklich tolle und detaillierte Beschreibung für den CheckIn geschickt. Die Wohnung war toll - großes Badezimmer und gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage war okay - man kam schnell überall hin und hatte auch eine Parkgarage, aber eben viele Obdachlose vor der Türe (was aber wahrscheinlich für San Diego normal ist) Würden Sirenas Unterkunft jeden weiterempfehlen!

We stayed at Vidal's place to attend our niece's graduation from UCSD, and it was perfect! The bed was comfortable, my sister could crash on the couch, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Absolutely one of the most fun locations I’ve stayed at , will definitely tell anyone to stay there for parties or if you wanna get away with a group . The staff were awesome and always exceptional and friendly . Look forward to next time

The place was super clean and exactly as described . check in was easy and everything we wanted to check out around La Jolla was only a seven minute to fifteen minute drive.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped—perfect for our needs. The welcome snacks were a lifesaver after our late arrival, providing breakfast for the next day. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive. Staying for a month, we especially appreciated the excellent storage solutions, which kept everything tidy and made it feel like a real home (not a hotel!). The towels, bath towels, and even beach towels were clean, soft, and much appreciated. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to San Diego—highly recommended!

We had a great stay. Great location. walking distance to stores and dinning. Loved the pool and weight room. Perfect for what we needed.

Judith’s place was perfect for our stay. For the sample, we brought kitchen equipment from NJ with us because we usually need it when we stay at other places. But Judith’s place had everything plus more than we expected. We left all the equipment in our car!! lol.😆

Stayed 4 nights with my partner and toddler and what a great place and hosts! By far the friendliest and most accommodating. Natasha made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed before check-in. Stellar communication during our stay and very responsive. The extra toilet paper and paper towels left on the doorstep helped to spot the apt too! We really appreciated the flexibility with our reservation. Asked for a late check out as our flight wasn't until 4 and Natasha was glad to help. This saved hours in the airport but most notably my son was able to finish napping which set us up for success on the way home. This stay felt more like house sitting for family/friends than a typical Airbnb. Only issue was trying to come/go with a stroller...didn't see a ramp or entrance without stairs, probably just overlooked it. Neighborhood is very walkable w/ lots to explore. Our last stop was the farmers market which was excellent too! Definitely recommend and would stay again!!!

Our stay was smooth and peaceful without any issues. The apartment looked exactly as in the pictures. The host is very responsive and willing to help. I would definitely be staying again when we visit San Diego.

El alojamiento es perfecto y en la mejor zona del centro. Todo funciona perfecto. Lily es muy atenta. Hay que tomar en cuenta que la llave se recoge y se deja en un lugar como a 10 minutos en auto del departamento.

Felt incredibly welcomed by John and made it feel very comfortable for family of 4. Great location in a good neighborhood, quick to access to freeways for easy activities throughout city. Will definitely visit again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at Tim’s cute and serene French style home. You can tell that Tim and his wife put a lot of thought and care into providing their guests with a wonderful stay. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs that I have ever stayed in and had the fanciest amenities, like L’Occitane bath products and Nespresso coffee. It was well stocked with all the tools we needed to make meals. The towels were so soft and smelled great. The beds were very comfortable. The back yard was stunning and was very private. There were plenty of towels for the pool/spa. The heated pool, which costs $75 extra/day to have heated, was worth it during the June gloom weather. The location was very convenient to the 5, 805, and 52 freeways. There was spacious parking in the drive way, enough for 2 cars. I would advise any guests to avoid parking on the street, because the neighbor across the street is territorial about the street parking in front of his home.

Amazing place and definitely would stay again! Central location, clean and cozy for a family of four and our kids basically lived in the pool and hot tub (supervised) when we weren’t out and about. Great host, felt like home and fully stocked kitchen.

The house is clean, spacious, and has great decorations. We find it comfortable to stay in Lawrence's house. The host was also very nice and called us to ask whether there was anything we needed to make our experience better. However, there are about 10 high stairs to the front entrance, which is not ideal for people who have difficulty climbing stairs or young children. It is not a big deal for us, but we do have a toddler, so we need to be extra careful to get in and out of the house. The kitchen would benefit from having an electric kettle, so getting hot drinks (tea, instant coffee) would be easier.

Loved this place! It was very small inside the house but truthfully we spent all our time enjoying the beautiful backyard. Lizette was very accommodating and understanding about everything we asked for which is very appreciated. Would book here again.

Easy check in... Property was as advertised... Garage was perfect for loading the kids into the cars to keep them off the driveway and street... Pack patio was nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather... AC units worked to perfection... Having coffee in the home was a nice touch... Owner was very responsive to all questions... Would stay here again...

This is a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and taking in the view. Alessandro was super attentive and checked in on us often to make sure we were doing ok.
