Campsite holiday rentals in Ohio River

Judy's place was great! So peaceful being surrounded by nature and animals. We were able to feed fig newtons to the goats!! Judy and Rob were very hospitable and kind.

We wanted to do something unique & different for our anniversary & this did NOT disappoint. From the “main” road you can see the 3 red cabooses up on the hill & our hearts smiled. They recently had storms & we could see where the flood waters deteriorated the sides of the driveway but it was still wide enough for us to pass another small vehicle if needed. Office Check in was a breeze and took less than five mins before we were standing in our getaway train(caboose) which is on a real track! We were the only ones staying this weekend but if others were present, there was plenty of room. Our furbabies throughly enjoyed having a large field in front of the cabooses to run in. The views from the swings were breathtaking especially during the sunsets. Once Inside, we enjoyed the comforts of home (except for a stove). The hotness of the water & the relaxing hot tub added to our experience. Some things were dated but that is to come with the territory. We hope to visit again in the fall.

What a gem! I’ve stayed in Abbi’s Yurt and camped. Both times were amazing. The communal kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with so much great stuff, including eggs from their chickens! Can’t wait to come back! Will definitely be bringing friends and kids next time.

The entrance was marked clearly with a HomeGrown HideAways sign, and the roads to the site and into the site were easy and safe to navigate!

It was a great stay! Not a bad drive to Indianapolis. Janet checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would stay here again

Close to everything. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go.

Beautiful location, place as described. Jacuzzi was great. Lots of hot water. Good water pressure, good shower. Bed was comfortable. Donnie was helpful and responsive.

This is truly a hidden gem!!! The place was exactly as described. It was so peaceful, you could not hear any cars or commotion. (I live in the city) so it was what I needed in my life. The sounds of the river below, the birds chirping, and the cows in the surrounding farms was magical. The sunrise and sunsets were out of this world! In the morning, there was fog in the mountains below and the orange sunrise was picture perfect. If you get the chance to go, do it, it is so worth it.

This was great! The property was great for me and my dogs to relax after hiking. I enjoyed the jacuzzi and outdoor shower! The bed was comfortable. Wish it was darker sooner so I could’ve enjoyed the fire pit, too! I’ll just have to come back!

I really enjoyed my stay & had a great time with my 3 dogs. One of my dogs is 14, so I don't use flea & tick products on her. John went out of his way to make sure the area was free from ticks by mowing the grass really short and treating the area with a pet safe product. I really appreciated that. The camper was clean and well kept and there are nice well groomed trails to walk the dogs. The hosts are friendly and readily available for anything you need. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was as advertised. The camper was comfy, cozy and everything we needed on our national park trip. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to visit the New River Gorge!

perfect quiet getaway spot & not too far from the Nashville or the surrounding cute towns. loved sitting out on the porch in the morning/ evenings watching the cows and turkeys in the field across the way. had a nice fire going one night after playing in the creek most of the earlier afternoon & a small hike around Harpeth State Park! Cell reception was spotty but wifi code worked after doing in lower case, not CAPS 😊 wish we had more time away to just enjoy the easy holler livin! Thank you Debbie for sharing this wonderful spot!

We loved the Little Roamer!! So cute and cozy! We arrived after dark with no troubles and it was exactly what we needed plus a lot more. Super clean, great air conditioner and comfortable sleeping areas. The teeny bathroom was hardly noticeable with how wonderful everything was for us! Wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Chelsea’s place was great, had a beautiful view and the place was so perfect to watch the night sky as there’s no light pollution. Finally Dan’s vegetarian quiche added a nice touch to our trip, it was delicious! I’m sure we’ll come back in fall.

We stayed here for our honeymoon last weekend after we got married. They gave us a bottle of champagne to congratulate us on our marriage which was awesome. We had a little problem our first night with the heat but she got it fixed as soon as possible the next day and sent us money to pay for our breakfast which was awesome and very nice. 10/10 we loved it.

We had an amazing stay for our family of 4. The camper was comfortable and had everything we needed and our kids loved the game room, goats, and fire pit area. Nathaniel and family were amazing hosts and very responsive to any questions we had. The location felt private and peaceful with lovely views of the field and woods and beautiful birds all around, while still being a close drive to Logan and hiking. We felt right at home and would love to come back!

Our hosts made the stay so relaxing and communication was lovely. The views at the airstream were amazing, whether relaxing in the hot tub or lying down at night in the airstream. We got to decorate rocks with paint during a rainstorm which felt like such a magical added touch! My husband and I truly love the experiences Airbnbs like these have given us.

Had a couple hiccups but Leo was great about walking me through things. It was my kids first time camping and it was beautiful.

Beautiful location and lovely people! We were on the fence about purchasing our own camper and helped us experience camping for a long weekend with our kiddos!

It was rainy weekend but was able to keep a fire going the flys was kinda bad but we got a fogger and it helped some didn’t have a cover to set under so we ended up setting under the pine trees until it got to wet the birds was nice to watch but there was female cardinal that wanted to hit the window all day I guess she was protecting her area it would start at daylight and she didn’t stop until dark other then that it was very nice

My husband, daughter, and I stayed in Felicia the Flamingo Airstream for a night after touring the Airstream factory. The check in/out process was easy, the camper was spotlessly clean and cozy, the lot was private, and the surrounding area was quiet and felt safe. Lindsey communicated clearly ahead of time, the day of, and left a helpful binder in the camper. We would definitely go back and would recommend others to stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay, exactly how she described it. It was very clean, very comfortable, and very peaceful. The bed was only a full, but it was very comfortable. The host was very accommodating and responded very quickly when I reached out to her I would definitely give her a five out of five, actually I would give her a 10 out of 10. The only thing I would have changed, I would have liked to have a Keurig for coffee in the morning, but other than that everything was as listed in the description, and very enjoyable. Would definitely return and also definitely recommend this quaint little place.

The scenery, the sunsets, the stars! This property is so serene! The air stream is very roomy. It has everything you need. We spent our days doing yoga on the deck, connecting with nature, going on hikes and making s’mores at the fire pit. Chris is so wonderful and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great! This town is cute, quant and everyone is very sweet. There’s lots of farms and cows to see as well. This experience brought us a lot of peace and connection. You won’t regret booking this property. Go experience the magic for yourself.
