Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ohio River

Where to start with this rental!? As soon as we pulled up, we were in love with the property. It's so beautiful, near and far. The interior is so cozy and there were so many accommodating extras. It was a welcomed surprise. The animals were precious. We were fortunate to meet the owners as they were exiting the driveway, and we got to learn some fun facts about the animals :) I would live there if I could! It's so comfortable and inviting. Highly, highly recommend!

My family and I just spent a week at this amazing place! The layout of the house is so cool and it’s very spacious. We spent a lot of time outside, exploring in nature. It really is a big outdoor playground! We really enjoyed swimming and using the slip and slide! This place is truly a hidden haven. While there, it feels as though you are far away in a beautiful, secluded forest, yet when in need of something, the store is only minutes away. Our hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. They responded to any questions or needs we had throughout our stay. My family and I had a fantastic time and we would definitely stay there again!

Tyler's place was just as described. The furnishings were comfortable, the deck and pool were great places to chill, and the fenced back yard was perfect for us as a old couple traveling with a young dog. (Our dog REALLY enjoyed the freedom to wander and run in the back yard.) Neighborhood is peaceful and a very short drive to some restaurants and stores in Independence.

Perfect location, no more than 15 minutes from all the local attractions. House was beautiful and had a ton of space. Everything was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the coffee shop next door, Witches Brew Coffee.

Just go. It was great. Exactly as described. Teenagers used the pool and hot tub. We used our Netflix. Def would stay again.♥️

Had a blast. The zip line was a hit for the girls. They loved feeding horses. It was a great get away. We definitely will stay here again the next time we are in Lexington.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the school house airbnb! The remodel of the old school making it into a cozy house is incredible. The sheets and beds were so comfortable. I would definitely choose this host again if I’m in the area.

The Nature Spa was great. The pool, hot tub and game room were huge hits with grandsons. The movie theater pit the icing on the cake. The master suit is awesome. Was very easy to find and has beautiful view of pond while sitting the deck while having coffee. Thank you again.

The house is in a beautiful location and has everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation! The lake was so peaceful and the kayaks were nice to go out for a little stroll. We really enjoyed watching the wildlife. But the best part of this house is the POOL!! It is a very large, clean and well kept pool. Our stay it was in the 90s everyday and we spent most of our time outside. My extended family live in the area and this was a great place for us to spend the weekend visiting with them. Thanks for allowing us into your home :)

Loved how private and beautiful the waterfalls were and me and especially my two pups enjoyed swimming and the cottage was cute and clean. Backyard of the cottage was also a nice place for my pups to roam! I definitely reccommend 🙏🏾

We absolutely loved this adorable house! The porch was lovely, nice features included an outside fan which made it super comfortable. We loved the griddle for breakfast. The bed was comfy, couch comfy and the decor was beautiful. I loved being our visits from John (the dog) he was amazing. The new baby pigs was a pleasant surprise. We felt super safe. This tiny house is behind a large shed and some equipment so we were hidden from the road and the view off the porch was so serene! Thanks for a great place to stay!

Wow. Can I just say, this is the most peaceful place I have ever stayed in. You stay in a rustic old homestead, and you learn to love it more and more. We sat outside and watched the fireflies and listened to the birds. The home was cute, and it was fun sleeping in the loft. Soft bed. Small but had everything you needed. The dogs on the property were so sweet, and the host was just fantastic. Cannot wait to stay here again!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about missys listing!! It was homey, spotless, missy was very responsive. The bed was amazing, and the bed linens smelled amazing!!! Her kitchen is stocked with all the necessities so you can easily cook. The area was beautiful. The cows outside, open spaces and fields. And the farm dog was so friendly. We will stay here again when we visit next.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s and this is by far one of our favorites. The entire house and property are absolutely gorgeous. The rolling hills and pastoral views are incredible. This is one of those houses that you will definitely want to stay at again. Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Jon Seitz

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here for our anniversary. Very private, beautiful land, peaceful and yet minutes away from town. We will forsure be back again!

This place was wonderful! Had everything we needed or could’ve asked for. We hauled our bikes down and stayed for an extended weekend to ride around the gorge, and it was perfect for us. (Bikers paved driveway) Thr isn’t anything I could think of to make it a better stay. Simply perfect for us. The host responded promptly, great WiFi, great location!

Beautiful view! Very private & peaceful. Easy to get to & plenty of activities in the area. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again & looking forward to another trip there. The view from the deck was spectacular!

it was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary. We felt refreshed and at peace. The sauna and hot tub were definitely a pleasure. My favorite night was when I was in the hot tub and it was raining on the tin roof. so relaxing. If we ever go back I will definitely want to stay there again

A wonderful river house! Right on the water with plenty of towels and a very comfortable bed. Very clean. Host is friendly and responsive. Super cool historical bridge, watching the trains go by was awesome! The porch, dock or swing are perfect places to watch the river go by. Easy 40 minute drive from Rupp Arena.

The chalet is beautiful and peaceful. Sherry's instructions were clear, precise and pictures matched what we found driving up and into the place. Sherry was responsive with a request and was at the chalet within the time frame indicated. We took advantage of the hiking trails on the property and enjoyed EVERY moment of our stay!

This was the perfect prelude to our wedding week and a great place to stay for the All Star Race. Host was responsive and the cabin matched all the photos. Great experience.
