Tiny house holiday rentals in Ohio River

Mary,Will and (Lily...dog) were wonderful, very friendly stopped over to introduce themselves. We had a slight issue first night, we called and they had someone there the next day....I'm positive if we lived close we would be friends! Their property is just beautiful with the house probably no more than 30 feet from the Little Miami River. We will definitely go back. They are wonderful hosts you can't go wrong with their cottage...I mentioned we were vegan and Mary had vegan snacks for us! Thank you again for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! Zella and Stephen were the sweetest hosts, and extremely accommodating. They made sure to check in on us and were immensely helpful if we had any questions! We had the pleasure of trying some strawberries, eggs, and jam that Zella and Stephen provided from their farm and hens. They were all delicious! If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay, this farm is perfect. We loved it, and if we are ever in the area again, we would love to stay. Amazing hosts and experience!

We had an excellent stay in this cabin. It was quiet and private but still close to things we wanted to do. The little walking trail on the property was great. 10/10 would stay here again.

We had a great time in the Pete Nelson treehouse. The treehouse had everything we needed and more. We had a great time exploring the grounds, had a delicious dinner in quaint, nearby Maysville, and relaxed in the evening watching a movie on the projector screen! The bed was very comfortable and our daughter slept very soundly on the couch downstairs 😊. This was a perfect little getaway—thank you!

Beautiful cozy space with the cutest yard ever, large for my dog to run. Inside was clean, organized, and easy to find everything. I have 0 complaints and would stay here again!

The cabin was wonderful - a peaceful retreat. There were great options for relaxing outside - 2 porches and the fire pit area. All had comfy sitting options - including swings and Adirondack chairs. It was a private area with lots of wildlife to observe. The inside was cute, very clean, and cozy. Hosts were very proactive in their communication. We used their guide to find wineries, canoeing options and hiking trails. Great getaway - looking forward to returning!

Me and my husband stayed here for our anniversary. It was perfect. The creek sounds were so relaxing, the outdoor shower was refreshing. We had neighbors but it still felt very secluded. The bed was comfortable, and the cabin was clean. It was all we could have asked for, we will be back

The tiny house was exactly as described and was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammock, sitting by the smokeless firepit at night, drinking coffe on the porch, and roaming around the tree farm. This property was incredibly gorgeous and peaceful, we had the area entirely to ourselves. We enjoyed being back in the shade of the trees listening to the wildlife. The bed was super comfortable and was much larger than we expected! The included fire wood and restaurant recommendations came in handy. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Beautiful and unique place. Secluded yet quick to Columbia City, Warsaw, and Fort Wayne. Check-in was easy, and the place was spotless.

Hands down my favorite short term rental I’ve ever stayed at! Perfect location, very close to New River Gorge and restaurants/town. The place was very well thought out and had everything I could’ve wanted/neexed. The nice toilet paper and paper towels was appreciated. The cabin smelled amazing and everything was very clean! Never wanted to leave!!

Was fantastic and relaxing

The most relaxing, beautiful area and cabin. It’s decorated with antiques that you can purchase. This place has everything you need! Communication was fast. We were able to check in early and had farm eggs and muffins in the fridge to welcome us! It was soothing to the soul to be able to open the windows in the morning to let in fresh air, watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset, take walks, give treats to the farm cats who were so sweet, watch the cattle and listen to them softly moo once in a while. Our stay was just heavenly. We didn’t want to leave! We also loved meeting the owners when we contacted them about a question we had. Wonderful people!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Anything you might need was provided and more. Beds were so inviting and the wrap around porch and friendly neighboring dogs made it a magical wooded getaway. Cannot wait to return. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would.

April was first off a super kind and responsive host. So helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Such a cool little cabin, great location and space. We will be back for sure!

Our time at The Nest was more than expected, very tranquil and thoughtfully designed! It is perfectly located to provide privacy, while also easy access to hiking spots and restaurants and coffee shops. If you are looking for an escape to relax and rejuvenate, this is your spot!

The cabin was just as described and equipped with all we could need! I really appreciated the cabin being dog-friendly, and they included even a stake for the dogs to run around on tethers while we were outside. The view was gorgeous and the cabin as cozy as could be - I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Such a beautiful little cabin in the most peaceful setting. The sounds of the birds and the cicadas in the forest were just magical, and we loved the morning visits from the birds, squirrels, and deer just outside the big picture window. The bird feeders are popular so make sure to fill them with the provided seed for your viewing entertainment. There was also a groundhog family that hung out in the back each day. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and Bren so graciously provides the wood. The property is so pretty and I'm sure will be even more so as the flowers begin to bloom. The cabin has so many unique details inside and out. You will find surprises everywhere you look. We were still finding things up until we left. It's just adorable and clearly was built and decorated with nothing but love! So cozy and comfortable, we definitely want to go back. Being able to take our dog with us was a huge plus! Bren is a great host. So happy we found this place!

it was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. My husband and I stayed here for our 2nd anniversary. We felt refreshed and at peace. The sauna and hot tub were definitely a pleasure. My favorite night was when I was in the hot tub and it was raining on the tin roof. so relaxing. If we ever go back I will definitely want to stay there again

If I could give this 10 stars I would! Beautiful little Cabin with so much history inside. Full kitchen, Cozy living area, sleep number bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, so many flowers, plants, trees, just perfections and very quiet. Tammy and Jane greeted us as we checked in and showed us around. Tammy also made us breakfast every morning, fresh and homemade and even a to go basket on our last morning. The neighborhood is very peaceful. We were visiting for the derby and wished we had more time to enjoy this little peace of beauty!

We really enjoyed this cute cabin and it was perfect for our Kentucky bourbon Trail. Very clean and James was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us very useful info. Friendly dogs and cats that roamed around.

the place is better than it looks on the pictures I think you do feel right at home I walked in and it even smelled nice. this place is great she has been so kind to me she has worked with me I accidentally damaged some property and working with their family was fantastic no judgment or anger. Any question I had she got back with me within a 1 to 2 hour time period sooner most of the time actually. you will love it I don't need to know what you're looking for you could be looking for anything in a stay and you'll find it here.
