Holiday rentals with a patio in Øksnes

We had an amazing stay with Tore and is wife. They are amazing hosts. Their place id in an amazing location, with the best view of Eidet and the mountains, and the house as everything you need to have a great stay and relax. It was exactly what we were looking for for our holidays. If we didn't have already booked another stay we would stay more days at Tore place

We really enjoyed our stay at Gulith's. The apartment is very nice with a terrace that has a magnificent view. Gulith's brother, Arthur, gave us plenty of information and was very friendly. We were able to hike and go boating. The restaurant next door is very good. I would highly recommend it.

Good value for rental price. Great communication and nice host. Everything you need in the apartment and one of the world's finest views . Great hiking opportunities and you drive past the shop on the way out so it's easy to shop. Recommended!

It's been a fantastic few days exploring Lofoten, what a great gift from nature ! And that the host could not have been better ! We were great in the house and anything we were taken care of by the house. Thank you very much for everything !

Everything is great, nice location, lots of nature. Cozy cottage by the water without noise and behind it a river with singing swans. There are also ptarmigans right next door in the direction of Hovden. Great for nature lovers

Nice accommodation with everything you need. We were here for a month and everything was fine. The accommodation was clean, the location is very quiet. Internet worked without a problem (I worked remote, online meetings was no problem). There are several shops and a gas station nearby. There is beautiful nature in the area. Host (Kai) was friendly and quickly responded to my questions.

very nice, clean accomodation with plenty of place. We stayed for 4 nights and made trips to lofoten and andenes, both around 2 hour drive. Also in short distance of sortland. can highly recommend the accomodation.

Yngve's house is absolutely amazing. Beautifully furnished and very clean. Yngve responded to inquiries immediately. The place is a good starting point for trips to Stø, Nyksund and the surrounding mountains. I will gladly come back if I am in the area again

We had a beautiful and relaxing stay. Great landscape and perfect location for visiting Vesterals and Lofoten. Rooms were clean and with enough space for our family of four. Sitting outside on the terrace during sunny weather gives you extraordinary sight at surrounding mountains and the sea. Contact with Morten was amazing. Friendly and clear in communication. Also helpful with questions regarding beautiful places nearby. I wish we could have stayed for longer.

This place is absolutely lovely! We were two adults & two children, and had plenty of space, more bedrooms than we needed. Birgitte is a lovely host, she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, including a travel cot and high chair. Nice touches around the place for us and the kids. She sent all the information for the stay in advance. We hoped for midnight sun but got there in wind and rain, but to be honest, the cabin in itself was just as pretty as the sun at nighttime. Great view from large windows onto the rough sea, the local beach and the surrounding mountains. The sun did appear and this is a great place to see midnight sun, and I can only imagine perfect for northern lights. Hovden is a quiet place, which for us as nature lovers was perfect, we wanted this combination of ease of a modern cabin, comfort and luxury for tired, hardworking parents, and a calm, peaceful and authentic place in Vesterålen with unspoiled nature. Really want to come back!

The house is in a small community (Gisloy) which itself is on a little peninsula (Gisloya) that is mostly a nature reserve. The view from the dining table, with the sea and the mountains, is fantastic. The house is a family property since a century, and it is clear the family loves the house. If you like peace and quietness, you will enjoy this place: Gisloy is 7 km away from the next buildings (where you can find a nice coffee bar in a 2nd hand shop -- it's the nearest place where you can spend money). The larger village Myre is 15 km away, this is a place with supermarkets. There are several good hikes within driving distance, but they are not 'walks in the park'. We very much enjoyed the whale watching safari that started from Sto: we could observe 6 killer whales during almost an hour, at a distance of 5 to 50 m. Very much recommended, but beware that the success depends on the weather an on chance. The restaurants in Nyksund were a hit too (the road to get there is 'challenging').
