Urban Tranquility Tree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

Our elegant and peaceful garden lodge has stunning sea views and is located a 5 minute walk from two long Blue Flag beaches, Garrettstown and Garrylucas. The renowned gourmet town of Kinsale is less than ten minutes by car and the airport is just a 30 minutes drive. The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists, golfers and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on many local beaches. The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

Mount Kid Cottage is off the beaten path near the stunning Wild Atlantic Way route. Secluded and tranquil, we are 90 minutes minutes from Cork Airport, 2 hours west of Cork city and a 15 min DRIVE from Ballydehob. Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.

We have a cozy guest cabin in our garden. It is situated behind our cottage We live roughly 4 miles outside Kinsale in a charming rural area. All narrow roads. It is very relaxing, a perfect place to chill, while being 10 minutes drive from the tourist town. If you are contemplating a visit this year we advise booking prior to 19th May if possible. We just love meeting our guests from all parts of the Globe. Note: No public transport from Kinsale
