Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Old Town, Dubrovnik

The view is a 15/10 and Irena was a great hostess! She was very proactive and took great care of me when I got sick. She made an extra trip with linens and had plenty of suggestions on where to get additional supplies. Even before I felt up for leaving the apartment, the view was healing in and of itself! Irena was also immediately helpful (at 10:30 at night!) in getting on the phone with the internet provider to reset the WiFi after a brief power outage that affected the entire bay. She got us up and running in just a few minutes! So grateful we stayed here!

I have just returned from spending an amazing week in Cavtat the apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the town. The hospitality I received from Ivo and his family was the best I have ever experienced. Home cooked lasagne delivered to my door, cocktails when I was round the pool and sharing the fish they had caught that day all added to making this my best holiday ever I've never done this before, I booked for next year before I left if staying in Cavtat please stay here if it's not already fully booked! thank you Ivo and the wonderful Rosa see you next year

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Great communication, super clean apartment with all essentials for actually cooking for yourself and v comfy bed. Felt v safe as a solo traveller. Incredible views, lovely local walks with more gorgeous views. Loved taking the kayak out and enjoying the crystal clear water. It was super quiet when I went, imagine it's a little busier in summer. Darko and family very welcoming, I'd love to go back one day.

What a find! Easy walking distance from the Old Town and cable car, it was peaceful to escape back to after a day out. We never met Karmen but her father and brother helped check us in when we arrived late evening and to show us how to use the slightly unusual washing machine, as well as looking after bags after checkout. The shady little outdoor terrace was a lovely bonus and there was everything we needed in the kitchen, including filter coffee machine (plus oven, hobs, microwave). You do have to be mindful of the hot water - we didn't run out but if several people want a hot shower straight after each other, the tank empties fairly fast.

Located about 30 mins by bus outside Dubrovnik it us definitely worth the extra effort. The view from the patio is stunning and there is everything you need provided. If you are looking to escape the manic main areas and don't want an all-inclusive experience this is it. the villa is on a main route direct to the old town and if you buy the dubrovnik pass the bus is free. There is a faily steep walk and a fair few steps to reach the villa so you need to be fit but you can use bolt or taxi to the property. great value for money

We stayed for 4 nights with our family, children age 4 & 2. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay and explore Dubrovnik. The apartment is perfectly located just steps from the old town / city walls, for a short trip this was ideal. Everything is on your doorstep, you can walk everywhere. The house is beautiful and Ivona has done a wonderful job of designing it. It was so well equipped with everything you needed. Michael welcomed us and even arranged our transfer from the airport. They had left us a selection of snacks including bread, milk, jams, coffee pods, wine, beer which was great. The swimming pool area is a bonus and we enjoyed an afternoon swimming and enjoying the views. The whole complex is spotless and so well maintained. I was a little apprehensive as of whether the children would enjoy Dubrovnik, however they loved it and I would recommend. We hope to return one day and if you are considering booking, book early, you will not disappointed. Thank you!

We loved our stay here in Dubrovnik. Dubravka was quick to reply to any of our queries and gave us some great recommendations at check in. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

The biggest advantage of this apartment is the location-very close to the old city and Banja beach, as well many restaurants are very close. It is only 10 minutes walk from old city. At top of it apartment has very nice terrace with view on the old city and sea. We really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik.

Andrija and Irena were extremely helpful and beyond friendly! Irena proactively offered to coordinate a porter to assist us with carrying our bags up the very steep steps (all of Old City has steep steps!). This inexpensive option was a lifesaver (I am a habitual over-packer!). We would not have known this service existed had Andrija and Irena not proactively offered to coordinate this for us in advance of our arrival. Very quick to respond and beyond helpful, Andrija and Irena are beyond awesome hosts. If you are seeking an authentic Old City experience, this property is perfect.

A lovely central location to explore the old town in Dubrovnik. It was easy to check in after a late night arrival by ferry and made exploring the old town very easy!

We had amazing time, Nico really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay and everything you need. The place is really clean, modern and has all the amenities. The location was great for views and a peaceful stay away from the traffic and hussle of the old town. I actually really enjoyed the up and down the hill, it was great exercise. There are plenty of direct routes via stairs to both the nearest beach and the old town.

Amazing stay! Right next to the heart of old city Dubrovnik. Easy walking distance to all main attractions but just enough removed where it’s really peaceful beautiful view of the city. Amazing hosts, super responsive and accommodating!

We had the most incredible stay at Ivana’s- she went above and beyond to make my friend’s 30th birthday unforgettable—she somehow secured a variety of Croatian cakes for us on a holiday (when nearby stores were closed) and even very kindly gifted us a bottle of prosecco! We didn’t have a car, so this meant so much to us. Ivana also kindly helped to arrange trusted airport transportation & made us feel right at home. The location was perfect—peaceful, safe, and just a minute’s walk to a stunning little bay with a beach bar and great cocktails. The views from the window were like a movie scene, and the building has amazing history—ask Ivana about it! The apartment had everything we needed and we felt lucky to come across Ivana and her beautiful home. We truly couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you Ivana for your unparalleled hospitality—we absolutely loved our visit and owe that to you & would happily stay again in a heartbeat!

Ines' place is a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing or swimming. I appreciated the all touches she puts in this Airbnb business, which she runs herself. The mini apartment is located in her beautiful villa (only 2 apartments are to rent, so not many tourists around). To go to the city you need to walk around 100 steps downhill (10 min by walk), if you don't want to climb back, you can rent a sharing scooter MYNT APP, which is cheap (3-4 Euro to drive back home from the city centre). Enjoy ;)

We had a lovely time at Marijana’s apartment! It was charming and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood and spectacular views from the balcony. We enjoyed being up able to walk down to Old Town, and the nearby beaches. There are many stairs on the way back up the hill, and though it didn’t bother us, it might be quite difficult for some. Thank you for a lovely visit, we hope to come back again soon!

The apartment was great. We were even able to check in a little early. Apartment was very clean and tidy. We were given many things in the apartment to use and the refrigerator was filled with water, wine and beer. You felt very comfortable. Communication regarding check-out without problems. Very friendly interaction with each other. The apartment is many stairs away from the old town/new port. But we did everything on foot and that was totally okay. The value for money was definitely very good. We didn't regret choosing this apartment for a second and look forward to coming back soon.

We loved the apartment. The view was spectacular, and the two sets of open doors on either end of the balcony gave the unit a very nice indoor-outdoor feel even when inside. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very functional, we even spent a night in cooking. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Dubrovnik, as long as you don’t mind a bit of a climb up from old town. Not a long walk in and out of old town, only about 10 minutes, but lots of steps. But for us, the ability to get out of town into a quiet neighbourhood plus the view made it worth it. I can’t stress how amazing the view is from the balcony (photos don’t do it justice). Also, the owners dad greeted us at check in and he was so sweet and helpful during our stay!

Iva and Nike’s place in Dubrovnik is nothing short of sensational! It starts with the excellent communication and thoughtful recommendations and ends with a unit that is pristine, convenient and spacious. We are so grateful for our hosts willingness to accommodate an early checkin request and then meet us to assist with our luggage and shopping needs. The apartment is beyond comfortable, modern with classic touches, and we greatly appreciated the washing machine and soothing air conditioning on the warmer days. We found the apartment to be a great refuge from the bustle of Dubrovnik while great restaurants, activities and swimming opportunities are steps away. This is one of the best accommodations we have experienced while traveling and it is highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anita’s apartment. The property was spacious, airy, quiet (with the windows shut) and well air conditioned. Anita and her partner Pasko were very friendly to us. Pasko picked us up from the airport and dropped us right outside the city walls. The property is a 1-2 minute walk from the Pile gate (main entrance into the old town). Anita was thorough from start to finish. She would respond to messages within minutes and would be most helpful with any questions or queries we had. There is one step to go up from the turning into the street that the apartment is on to the front door of the apartment. Once inside, you will go up one flight of stairs to reach your apartment door. We had two large suitcases and hand luggage and we were happy with the number of stairs we had go up. When you see you the steep streets of Dubrovnik you will be very grateful for where you are staying compared to other properties. Food shop on the next street over.

Dubrovnik is beautiful and so is Luko’s place. The view from the balcony is the highlight. The house is spacious and clean. I especially like the decor it has personal touches, from the wall paintings to the vintage cameras. There is a cafe & supermarket nearby. Although it’s quite a walk to and from the old town but we didn’t mind as we enjoyed our morning and afternoon walks looking at houses & the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Kristina’s apartment is equipped with top quality furniture and decoration. It is very spacious. The best part is the two balconies facing to the ocean, you can sit there enjoying the sunrises and sunsets. There is a little bit walk to the old town, but it’s quite pleasant walk. Kristina and Robi are excellent hosts. They greet to their guests in person and give very detailed information about Dubrovnik, and they are very responsive. It was a very pleasant stay in Kristina’s place. I highly recommend it.
