Beautiful cottage and we had a fantastic time here. Poppy Cottage is extremely comfortable. We all slept great. Spacious kitchen and lovely garden to relax in. A really great property. Thank you for a great stay 😊

This was a lovely spacious house with lots of rooms to spread out socially. The pool was the most amazing feature. The host met us at the property to show us how the pool worked and to give us the lockbox code. They were friendly. They let us know we could message them if we needed anything, then they left us to our own privacy. You might need to bring a spare towel so you have one for the pool and one for the shower. Tea and coffee were provided but you need to make sure you have some milk with you. There was toilet roll, And kitchen roll. Washing up liquid. You might want to bring a box of tissues for General use and some multipurpose cleaning wet wipes. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning.

The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us (and our dog!). The area is stunning, very quiet with plenty of nice walks. The pool/games room area is shared with the other cottages, which wasn't made clear when booking. We thought it was part of our cottage, which we were slightly disappointed to find out this wasn't the case. However, overall we'd still consider staying here again!

The location was perfect — right in the heart of Manchester — and the interior décor was simply stunning. The apartment was immaculately clean and felt like a true home-from-home. Our host went above and beyond from start to finish, making everything seamless — from the booking process to the warm welcome and local tips. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Spent two nights here & it was perfect. Sara is an extremely thoughtful & considerate host. Croissants were provided for breakfast, along with milk, still & sparkling water & snacks. In the bedrooms were robes & slippers. It was a 5 star airbnb stay.

Perfect stay for a night before the Great Manchester run! Had everything we needed and was a good location, free on street parking was a bonus. The decor was lovely, very modern, exactly as pictured. Thank you, Grace, Emma and Zoe!

Eddy’s place is perfection. We had the best stay here. It’s in the most fabulous area. It’s so quiet and peaceful and yet a five minute walk from the bustling high street. We would love to stay here again.

It was a pleasure staying at Matthew’s place. The place was clean, tidy and orderly. Everything was provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was great as it was easy to walk to the university and city centre. 5 star rating!

The house was beautiful decorated and furnished throughout. Had all the amenities you could need. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. We had a lovely stay. Karnis is a great host and pro active in her communication. The house really is a home from home. We had pretty much everything we needed for our stay and found the accomodation to be very comfortable and spacious. Thanks to some lovely weather during our entire stay we made good use of the charming courtyard garden at the rear of the property. Considering the urban nature of the neighbourhood it was quite quiet, even at the weekend and parking was never a problem. We would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area as the location is really convenient for eg. Stockport, Lyme Park, and Manchester.

We had a lovely few days at Steve’s house. I chose it because we were attending an event at the Monastery nearby but it’s also very close to the Centre (1 stop to Piccadilly on the train/£6 in an Uber) with the benefit of being located in a quiet residential area. The house has everything one needs, it has been lovingly decorated and the beds are very comfy. We ordered 2 Deliveroos- Thaikhun Thai and Sanskruti Indian - both delicious and generously portioned. We had breakfast at Bruncho on Deansgate- great food & the best coffee. Steve was very helpful and communicative all the way through. Thank you Steve! I would highly recommend you and your house to anyone visiting Manchester.

We stayed with our 10 year old and 1 year old for 2 nights over the weekend. From the second we booked Steve & Jo had messaged us, really helpful hosts. The property is exactly what you see, it’s clean, modern, easy to get to and great value for money. Parking was easy just outside, the house was spotless. Everything you needed was there from your kitchen facilities to TV’s across the house. We visited the runway visitor park (15 mins away) got the train into Manchester (10 mins) and visited the Trafford Centre with the kids (15 mins away) couldn’t be any better situated for what we wanted to do whilst visiting. Steve & Jo messaged us on the day of check in with clear simple instructions - check in was easy. They couldn’t have been anymore help! The rate was very very very good value for money. You wouldn’t get a budget hotel room for the same price that we had an entire house! We would plan our next trip to Manchester around being able to stay here.
