Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oldenburg

We were extremely happy with the place. The hostess and her husband are very nice and accommodating. Our dog was treated warmly, which pleased us the most!

We stayed 3 days and 3 nights in Oldenburg. Ultimately, a mix of work and recovery. Both went great with the always helpful Helmut. An atmospheric very nice environment, inside as well as outside, good parking, quick access to downtown on foot about 17 min. or bike, good infrastructure: several supermarkets, pharmacy, flower shop, cafe, restaurants... Nice neighborhood, quiet surroundings and definitely much more🙂

A wonderful accommodation that exceeded the description as well as the photos of the offer. We were there with 7 adults, all had generous space and it was just great. The house is so tastefully furnished and thoughtful, functional, cozy, warm and chic .... you can't find it better. The garden is certainly around 1500 square meters, something grows in each, there is a bench, a table, a sandbox, a hammock.... We've been to many accommodations, but this really exceeded our expectations. A very clear recommendation and a heartfelt thank you for these wonderful days!

The stay with Ingrid and Jürgen was all around successful :) The accommodation corresponded exactly to the description – very nice, quiet and surrounded by nature. It is furnished with great attention to detail, which immediately conveys a feeling of home. Communication was also always warm and helpful. If you are looking for a break and want to enjoy peace and quiet, I can definitely recommend this accommodation!!

It is a very charming little cottage, very cozy, you feel immediately comfortable. Due to the central location, you can also do something in bad weather. All in all highly recommended.

We spontaneously booked Doris' house on Friday evening for the extended Pentecost weekend from Saturday to Tuesday. Nevertheless, we were even able to enter the cottage a little earlier and we all felt very comfortable right away. Unfortunately, the weather was not so great, so we could not use the garden + hut. That's a shame, because they're also very cozy. Doris was able to provide us with three large bikes, so we only had to take one with us. From the house you can drive beautiful routes, which we also made good use of. Otherwise, Bremerhaven and Bremen are easy to reach and worth a trip. Overall, our stay was great. Everything was as described and everything you need was there. The Haus im Glück is very cozy and Doris is a super nice hostess who would have been there for us at any time. But since everything was great, we didn't need to ask anything. We will be happy to come back if we come back to the area.

Pia is a very pleasant, friendly and reserved hostess. We were there for three nights as a patchwork family (9 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 dog) who had come together for a few days from Berlin, Hamburg and the greater Aachen area. We had to rearrange a little so that we had a place to sleep for everyone and yet everyone could have breakfast and eat together, which is easily possible in the old school on the 1st floor. Since we had rented all the living areas, there was a retreat for almost everyone. The environment is very quiet and rural, but in our case, that was also intentional. A few kilometers away in Schweiburg there is a very good bakery as well as a small supermarket. One morning, we did a guided mudflat hike with the whole family, which was fun for everyone and also educational. So all in all, a nice get-together!

We had a very pleasant weekend at the accommodation in Oldenburg. The location is quiet and at the same time very well connected – perfect for a relaxing stay. The check-in went smoothly, the communication was fast, uncomplicated and consistently friendly. The furnishings of the apartment also leave nothing to be desired. We would like to highlight the flexibility at checkout - we were even offered a later check-out, which we greatly appreciated. Despite the small criticisms, we felt comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We were absolutely happy with the place. The apartment is cozy and spacious, with a nice little garden. Tanja and Axel are very friendly and considerate hosts.

This was one of the best places I have stayed by far! The stairs are a nice exercise (as well as the bike I borrowed!) and Astrid was an incredible host. The unit is beautiful with lots of natural light and spaces to hang out, and with the weather opening the windows at night kept the upstairs room from getting too warm. Was a perfect escape from the university workday, and would recommend to anyone easily! Will be back next time I can get to Oldenburg!

Really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend to others. The apartment is very close to downtown and has everything you need. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay in a beautiful neighborhood. The host was very responsive and helpful.

From the extremely friendly communication to the clean and great furnished apartment, you can only give full points and an extra star just for the communication, we felt very very comfortable.

The apartment was larger than I had imagined, bright and friendly, clean! Salt/pepper and oil were not available as indicated. You have to have it with you, which is a bit cumbersome if you arrive by train and can only carry a limited amount of luggage. Highly recommended, Florian responds quickly and has responded flexibly to our arrival and departure time. Beautiful quiet area!

I wee bit out the way easy if your driving bus routes are plenty Uber in a pinch, this home is beautiful and area very nice. Love Oldenburg and the surrounding areas.

Thank you for having us as your guests! We felt super comfortable with Patrick and his family. The apartment is directly connected to the house, but you have a separate entrance. Everything was clean and very tidy, we lacked nothing and we can absolutely recommend the accommodation!

An overnight stay in Oldenburg, everything went great. I booked very spontaneously and the communication with Maja was quick and easy. I was even able to check in earlier than agreed on short notice. The accommodation was within walking distance and by bus. Everything I needed was there and everything was clean and tidy. I would be back...

Everything was great! The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The nearest bus stop was perhaps 1-2 minutes' walk away and the area in general was very quiet. Kim is also very friendly. Would recommend everyone to stay there!

The place is in a quiet relaxing location just to chill out and forget about the chaos of the city! Inside was very cozy, private, spacious and clean. Place very well stocked but would have been also nice to have some boardgames around. Kevin answered very quickly when needed. Overall, my kids and I were very happy to enjoy a couple of days in the nature in a nice and cozy little place! Thanks Kevin.

Ingo has everything you need to feel at home. Grilling, cooking, relaxing, etc. The garten is peaceful and quiet and in a low-traffic part of the neighborhood. Multiple supermarkets in walking distance and the city center is just a short bus or bicycle ride away.
