Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Omachi

This is an incredible place to spend a few days. The house is serene, the location is perfect to get to amazing hikes, and the sauna and onsen are so luxurious. Couldn’t recommend more. Just watch your head if you’re tall as there are a few low doors!

We had an amazing stay at Geoff and Aki’s place! They are incredibly caring hosts who made sure our trip was comfortable and unforgettable. They provided us with all the necessary information about the area and were always ready to help with visiting local attractions. The house itself was warm and cozy, with a breathtaking view from the window. At the end of February, there was a lot of snow, and the nearby ski resort was open – we could even walk there! Getting to the house by taxi from Nagano was easy, but traveling back without a car was a bit tricky. Fortunately, Geoff was very kind and helped us with transportation when needed. We truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Nagano!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kamata Sanso. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of pans, utensils and various needs. This really stood out from several other Airbnb properties we've stayed in recently. The house was very clean and had enough space for our group of 3. The only suggestion I could make is to include some storage space for guests. There were a few cupboards in the house but they were locked with padlocks. Each of the two bedrooms had a few hooks on the wall and some hangers were available, but there were no drawers or wardrobes for clothes at all. The hosts were very friendly and communicative via text and very helpful and obliging as well. Thank you for the lovely stay, we'd definitely consider returning the next time we are in the area.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. The villa is even more lovely than in the pictures, was super clean and had great amenities. The host was so friendly and helpful and very responsive over message. We really enjoyed how beautiful and peaceful the area is, and there are lots of lovely local cafes and restaurants a short drive away, as well as lots of hiking opportunities. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Japan. Thanks so much!

We absolutely loved our stay in Matsaya’s apartment. Even before check in, she was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated and had ample room for our family of 4. There was great separation of areas so we make coffee and chat without waking up other family members. Beds were comfortable and could easily fit a family with 3 or even 4 children. The area was surrounded by cafes, restaurants (Maysaya recommended some wonderful places to eat) and a quick walk to a large, modern shopping centre. It was a two minute walk to Matsumoto Castle and a beautiful place to take an after dinner walk and watch the sun set on the imposing castle with mountains in the background. One of our favourite activities in Japan was taking the local train to Narai-Juku - a stunning, old town that we found more beautiful, historic and peaceful than more famous places like Kyoto. Excellent and comfortable house in echoland. This place is a short walk to all the local restaurants and has all the amenities you could want for a holiday.

Absolutely beautiful house, the photos do not do it justice. The renovation is so stylish, it's one of the nicest Airbnbs we've stayed in. Such a peaceful setting, and the onsen was fabulous (because of its size it takes a while to fill). We highly recommend the ramen at the end of the street. Only things to note are the lack of privacy in the shower room during the day (we had some neighbours wander through!) and the second bedroom has limited privacy. This was fine for us as a couple but just to note if you come with a group.

Greg was such a helpful host, the location of the property was great and having a car was such a game changer for exploring the area. For 4 of us the room was fine and had everything we need. Will definitely be back!

We stayed in apartment C1 for 10 days. It was comfortable and had plenty of room. Kitchen was clean and good And everything in the apartment worked perfectly We had a car which made things easier as it’s almost impossible to get a cab anywhere

I love this place. Everything is perfect!! We stayed 2 nights there with 2 kids. Peter & Shiho’s place is wonderful for family stay. Location is good easy to find and getting around. We have cooked dinner at home once. Kitchen equipment and tableware is ready to use (only knife that not so sharp😅) When I shared this place on social media, any of friend asked and would to follow me to stay here. Peter is friendly and quite attentive to support he come to meet us twice. We would like to come back again ❤️

Stay was 100% satisfied, very neat, well organised and well maintained. Justin was exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive, it made me feel right at home, felt like staying again and gave references to my friends.

当日の午後に炭起こしと焚き火の準備を全部していただき大変助かりました。 部屋も広く綺麗で窓からの景色は写真よりもすごかったです。 周りも静かで非常に快適な時間を過ごせました。

とても綺麗な宿でした。 窓からの景色もよく、落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 ただ、チェックイン時にオーナーが不在で、従業員に聞いてもちょっと待ってと言って、暇そうにしていました。 チェックインまで30分ほど待たされたのが、少し残念なポイントです。

Takeo was very accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. We spent three months in his house and it was worth every cent. Location was also fantastic.

Het was een goede uitvalslocatie om de Japanse Alpen te ontdekken. Leuk koffietentje om de hoek en dicht bij de bussen om de natuurparken in te gaan. De accomodatie zelf was prettig en ruim opgezet.

The cabin was a little secluded with small roads. But very beautiful surroundings and still near the main attractions. Great privacy and very well appointed accommodation. Highly recommend!
