Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Onetangi

Linens were scarce for the pullout, but the view and home was very impressive for our family!

This has to be one of the best places we have stayed. Beautiful, warm, welcoming home. Very clear instructions of what’s required. Very hospitable host, checking in and making sure we were ok. Thank you very much we loved our stay.

Hanna’s house is absolutely beautiful, on a quiet and pretty street with stunning views of Casita Miro winery. It’s a great location and not too far (30 min walk approx) from shops, pubs etc. As the house is up a significantly steep hill, I’d recommend getting a taxi on arrival as we had heavy bags and while it’s not far in theory, its a real climb from the bus stop if you have a 20kg suitcase like we did. Hanna was an amazing host and couldn’t have been lovelier or more helpful. She was responsive to messages, friendly, had great suggestions and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. There is a 2 page document with everything you need to know about the house and area. She was great.

We had the best time and really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed including a really cool covered outdoor area with a rural and beach view that we spent a good amount of time in laughing, playing cards, having Waiheke vino & antipasto platters. If it was raining or windy you can pull down the screens to block it off. The heated outdoor shower and spa was great after a swim the beach, shops and restaurants were so close to walk too.

We had an amazing week at Jame’s house with our family. The house is beautifully designed with breathtaking views and close to everything you need on the island. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive and the house was as advertised - luxury beach house! We hope to return again soon.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The home is nestled in the lap of nature, with breathtaking surroundings that make you feel on top of the world. The kids loved the open space, and the stargazing at night was magical. A truly memorable experience, made even better by a lovely and welcoming host. Highly recommend!

What a great place perfect for us and even room for the next time when our 3rd daughter can stay too- beautiful waterfront excellent location with a Woolworths metro literally across the road and walking distance to viaduct restaurants- in fact we walked into town it was lovely . The carpark(s) was very handy and Kim messaged us with clear instructions and her communication was exceptional. She kindly allowed us early check in and late check out which is invaluable when you have a short stay like a long weekend. Would definitely consider coming back the next time we stay in Auckland.

This is an absolutely charming apartment to stay in and we enjoyed it immensely. Lynne is the perfect host - warm and welcoming but also attentive to our needs. There was a selection of goodies when we arrived and she baked the most amazing fresh muffins for us the following morning. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with an inspiring collection of furniture and framed photographs. There is also a bookcase with a discerning and eclectic collection of books if you’re interested in reading- which I was. The real highlight of the apartment is the view. There is wide, expansive view of Auckland’s harbour and you are not overlooked by any of the neighbouring houses. Sitting there on the super comfy couch, with a cup of tea while looking out on the water is simply bliss. Overall, this a marvellous place to stay and simply on a higher level to many other similar apartments. We highly recommend it and will certainly come back.

Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

Great location, quiet street 5 minutes stroll to Jervois Road

Dave and Lindy were very friendly and helpful. Very easy check in with clear instructions. Suited our purposes very well in a quiet residential area. We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, clean accommodation. Would highly recommend.

Jodie's place was the perfect find for us. From the minute we walked into it we loved every minute of staying there. Beautifully decorated with everything you need and in perfect working order. The bed is really comfortable and a great shower which was much appreciated after such a long flight. The position is very private with seating areas to the front and rear so you can catch the sun whatever time of day! Jodie is the perfect host - very quick to respond if you need her but otherwise respects your privacy. We needed help with our checkout time and Jodie was so kind and understanding. Jodie's place will always have a special place in our hearts as this was our first visit to Devonport. Thank you, Jodie.

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

Such a beautiful property. Was the perfect place for our wedding party to get ready for the day and to take some amazing pictures in the garden. Just a few smaller details would have been nice like having tea towels or another sheet set for the roll out bed, but very minor.

What an amazing and Beautiful home, so many things to do, from pool table, pinball machine , big movie projector where it was so relaxing with the kids to snuggle in front of fire place. Daisy is of the best Host I have come across, so responsive to all messages, also she is very accommodating to requests we asked of her. Definitely recommend Daisy beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a place with all ammenities, feel real homely inside & even outdoors with pool & spa , trampoline for children & swing, big lawn outside where kids or family groups can run freely. Cozy cottage in quiet, residential neighborhood. Clean, practical, full kitchen, parking on prem. 15-20 min walk to busses/trains (then 20 min ride) to center city. Nonetheless, having a car is useful. Juliet was friendly, helpful and a good communicator. Very flexible in check in/out arrangement. We would stay with Juliet any time again.

Beautiful home & perfect to get ready for my wedding day. Bins were full on arrival, but we left our rubbish outside next to bins which was fine :) would come back again.

We arrived in a storm and walking into a prewarmed house was amazing. Lots of space, sitting rooms and bedrooms as described. Open fire was lovely on our second night and sitting outside in the sun for breakfast was my favorite. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment, plates and was clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

I think it's safe to say that not only are there no complaints at all with both this place and the host, we were blown away by the quality of everything from start to finish by every measure. To anyone out there who want a place to live like a king or a stunning view to invite your guests over for a picnic, this is the place to be. The host here is an exemplar for what all ABNB hosts and landlords should aspire to be.
