Cottage holiday rentals in Onslow County

We wanted something close to Camp Lejeune and not too far from the beach and this place checked both those boxes. Clean and quiet yet not too far from restaurants and shops. It was a very peaceful and relaxing getaway. Carol was an amazing host.

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

Mallory & John were both very friendly, quick to respond and accommodating to our check in needs and questions throughout the stay. The home was clean and well equipped. Perfect for my family and only 10 mins from the beach! The kids loved the pool and backyard space for fishing, running around and relaxing in the hammocks. My only suggestion would be to pack bug spray for the back yard since you are near the lake (the mosquitoes loved us!) and to be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride into the neighborhood as there are many potholes in the gravel road leading up to the house. Not a complaint and not the hosts fault of course. Just want to help! We would stay here again :)

Firstly, this house was absolutely perfect!! We comfortably fit 5 people and had plenty of extra space. The house description was accurate, all the amenities were there and worked great. The host was very kind, responded quickly, and showed much hospitality. The house is about a 1 minute walk to the beach and conveniently surrounded by restaurants and stores in short walking distances. The house comes with a beautiful outdoor seating area and has lots of games and books for the guests. Just in general the house has a very cute aesthetic. One downside however, which is completely out of the host’s control, is that there were a few roaches in the outdoor space, but from what we’ve heard that’s an issue in the general area not just this house. All in all, would highly recommend this house and we would love to stay here again!!

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

It was asolutely beautiful here! after booking, we were so excited to hear they installed extras on the property and we got to enjoy a fire pit as well as the jacuzzi. easy drive to the beach and local stores and shops to entertain everyone. I would definitely come back with my littles next time, there was a lot to accommodate children! the only issue I had was unlocking the door and even though it was 1am, I was able to get someone on the phone to let me inside. wonderful stay!! 10/10

The home was very beautiful and spacious. It was a very comfortable stay for my family. Our host Malory was very responsive and gave great instructions for check in and check out. Would definitely recommend it to others and would definitely love to stay at the home again in the future.

This little cottage was adorable and a perfect fit for my family of 5. They were very quick to respond when I did have to contact them, vet accommodating. Staff was amazing and friendly, especially the front desk and bar tender ! We will be back in July !

We came down for a family reunion and stayed at this wonderful home. The home is cozy, clean and in a fantastic location. Ronald was quick to answer any questions I had. Looking forward to staying here again.

Benny's place was exactly as described. We stayed here for Thanksgiving, and it was the perfect spot for our family. We brought our boat and appreciated the convenience of being able to launch it right from the ramp. The location was easy to find, and we had no trouble accessing the house. The property was clean, tidy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Benny was a great host, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic experience.

Comfortable, clean space. Great location and easy access to the beach. Use of surf board was an added bonus. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Hannah's care in making our stay just perfect was unbelievable. The house is extremely well appointed, and Hannah goes above and beyond to provide the "extras" that made our stay so wonderful. We cannot thank Hannah enough for sharing this lovely house with us.

We had a great long weekend stay. The house exceeded our expectations, was spacious and the views were incredible. Only a half mile drive to the bridge leading to the surf city pier.

This is a beautiful home with lots of space. The kitchen has very nice appliances and other tools. I found everything I needed. The backyard was as advertised and made our stay easier. Even though the laundry room is downstairs, it was nice with large size washer and dryer

This place is the perfect little space for a quiet weekend! It’s right next to all the stores you might need! Would recommend to everyone looking for a cozy space to stay at home and relax in!

Renee’s place is perfect if you are looking for the perfect peaceful beach cottage. The walk to the beach so short and it’s minutes away from all the best restaurants! The place has PLENTY of room and was very comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Amy met us with fresh flowers as we pulled up into the dedicated parking area - right at the front door. The cottage was so close to the beach that you could sit on the porch and hear the waves breaking across the street. Bed was comfortable and area was quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Walkable to many restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Our stay in Surf city This sweet Cottage was cozy, clean, comfortable. It was easy access to all things we needed and wanted to get to while staying in Surf City. Beach access is an easy walk down the boardwalk. And food and shopping just a few blocks away. We were greeted upon arrival with lovely flowers and cool air. So appreciated. Correspondence was timely, helpful and friendly. Loved our stay here

So thankful for our stay! The house was perfect for our family. Tons of wildlife out back, my kids were catching all types of frogs, toads, lizards, etc. she had tons of toys taht kept my kids entertained during down times. Thank you so much!
